Flashback

The tension between the Epic Love Soulmates Klaus and Christy had reached its limit.

"I know we did, but whenever Marcalos resurrects someone from your past, things tend to get dangerous. And I don't want our daughters around when it happens." Christy told him.

Klaus gets up and looks at Christy. "What are you saying?"

"I'm taking our kids with me to Mount Orasani for a while." Christy told him.

"You can't take our daughters away from me." Klaus told her.

"The hell I can." Christy told him, becoming agitated.

"If this is about what I said about Bassea naming her as a charity case, I apologized for that." Klaus told her.

"This isn't about Bassea, this is about you." Christy told him.

Klaus just looks at her, bewildered.

"Don't you get it, Niklaus? The reason why you have so many enemies is because you made them. Maybe, if you haven't been such a pompous mean asshole, you wouldn't have so many enemies, but you being you, you did." Christy argued.

An aggravated Klaus walks up to Christy. "You have absolutely no idea what it was like for me growing up with Mikael and Esther. The pain he inflicted upon me. The shame. And here you are, you think you're so innocent and pure, when you have a dark alter ego just waiting to re-emerge." He argued back at her.

"At least, I have my darkness under control. What about you?" Christy told him with her eyes glow red in anger. "You can't go on in your life without Elijah holding your hand."

Klaus looks at Christy, shocked, and she just looks at him with her eyes glow red in anger.

"You can handle Gasper Cortez all you want. I don't really care anymore. Just because your life is fucked up, doesn't mean you can go around being mean to everyone around you. You're so paranoid about everything and everyone. You want power and to control things. You want to be the Mad King that everyone fears and hates. You want the supernatural community to hate you, they already do because of your reputation. But underneath, all of your mean demeanor, is a scared weak little boy that's afraid of being abandoned and alone. And if you die, the supernatural community will celebrate because they don't have to be so worried about the Original Hybrid monster. You will never change. Ever. You're not the man that I fell in love with, Niklaus. You're nothing but a fake."

Klaus looks at Christy, dejectedly.

"I'm taking the kids with me and if it's not a life and death situation, don't call me. I'm done helping you." Christy told him with a glum expression on her face and her eyes return back to normal green eyes and she walks away, gently bumping his shoulder with hers.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- MEDICAL INFIRMARY

The next day, Klaus stands outside of Christy's room, looking through the window, at his still unconscious wife, Chr after remembering their last tense argument between them.

Elijah slowly walks up next to Klaus and looks at his sister-in-law, Christy.

"Niklaus?" Elijah said to his brother.

"I'm not leaving." Klaus said.

Elijah gently puts a reassuring hand on Klaus's shoulder.

- Third POV -

Later that day, in Thalia's patient room, Zenith sits at his wife's bedside, worried, and asleep.

Thalia gently brushes his hair with her hand, causing him to wake up. The husband and wife exchange looks at each other.

"Hey, Zenny." Thalia greeted her husband.

"Hello, Thal." Zenith greeted his wife.

Zenith and Thalia exchange small smiles at each other. He pecks a kiss on her knuckles.

"How's Christy? Hagarth?" Thalia asked.

"Hagarth's fine and Christy has woken up as of yet." Zenith said.

Zenith and Thalia exchange worried looks at each other.

"Mom?" Damien said, slowly walks into the room with Irene.

"Hey, you guys." Thalia greeted her son and daughter.

Damien and Irene slowly walks up to their parents, relieved, that Thalia is gonna be okay.

In Christy's patient room, Klaus sits at her bedside, gently holding her hand in his.

Suddenly, she stirs awake and looks at Klaus and he looks at her.

"Klaus?" Christy said.

"Christy?" Klaus said.

"I'm so sorry." Christy apologized, starting to cry softly. "What I said to you."

"No, I'm sorry. This was my fault. I started the argument. The things I said. So, I should be the one to apologize to you." Klaus apologized to her.

"You're a pain in the ass, you know that." Christy said with a light-hearted teasing small smile.

Klaus chuckled softly. "You can tease me later."

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

"Hagarth? Thalia?" Christy asked.

"They're both fine. Zenith and Thalia will see you when we get back home to the compound." Klaus said.

"How long was I and Thalia out?" Christy asked.

"2 days." Klaus said.

"Gosh." Christy said.

"Mom?" Luna said, along with Trinity.

Klaus and Christy looks at their daughters.

"Hey, sweethearts." Christy greeted her daughters with a small smile.

Luna and Trinity slowly walks up to their mother. Luna pecks a kiss on Christy's forehead.

Klaus, Christy, Luna and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Later that late afternoon, Christy still has her scrape wounds and few bruises on her face, is gently leaning on the staircase, on the phone with her father, Ames.

"Your mother and I will see you tomorrow morning." Ames said on the telephone.

"Okay, love you guys." Christy said.

"We love you too, Christiana." Nadia said.

And Christy hangs up her phone. She and Thalia exchange looks at each other.

Both Thalia and Christy exchange glum looks at each other as they slowly walks up to each other and they embrace in a hug.

Thalia and Christy gently pulls away from the hug.

"I'm glad you're okay." Thalia said.

"Me too." Christy said.

"So are we." said Zenith, along with others.

"So, what the bloody hell happened?" Rebekah asked.

"There were two bombs that went off in an abandoned building." Christy said.

"But who would bomb in an abandoned building at Mount Orasani?" Gia asked.

"Probably be an enemy of Mount Orasani." Max said.

And then, something magically appears in Christy's jacket pocket, which she sensed and gently pats her jacket pocket. She takes out a folded parchment paper and unfolds it and reads it.

"It's from Theseus. He knows about the bombings." Christy said to the others.

"Does he know who?" Zenith asked.

"Yeah, The Venetian Gladiators." Christy said.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy exchange looks at each other.

In which Elijah noticed. "What is it?"

"The Venetian Gladiators. They're merciless gladiators that don't take prisoners. Both men and women. The women are Gladiatrix." Christy told.

"The Venetian Gladiators are from the kingdom of Ceadian and they're ruthless." Max said.

"Their king is ruthless just like them." Zenith said.

"The Ceadian King is Vlachellis." Thalia said. "And the Ceadian Queen is Anastasia."

FRENCH QUARTER

That evening, Klaus and Christy are taking a stroll together in the empty road, gently holding each other's hands.

"Isn't this dangerous? Taking a stroll in the middle of an empty road?" Christy asked.

"Well, there aren't any cars passing by." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange chuckles with each other.

"Are you okay?" Christy asked him. "I know it worried you about what happened with the bombing thing?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Klaus said.

"Klaus?" Christy said to her husband.

"Please, don't." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy stopped with their stroll and faces each other.

"We have to talk about it, because if we don't, it's gonna keep bothering you. You can try to hide it from everyone else, but you can't hide from me." Christy said.

"When I saw you like that, bruised up and unconscious, all I thought about was our tense argument. The things I said to you, and you were caught in the bombing, I just hoped that I wasn't gonna lose you. I've lost you and almost lost too many times. Disappointing you is the last thing that I want." Klaus said.

Christy gently cups his face with her hands. "You and I have said hurtful things to each other whenever we argue, but I know deep down within you, you want to do what's right for your family. And yes, Klaus, we argue, but at the end of the day, we're married."

"I love you, Mrs. Christy Mikaelson." Klaus said.

"I love you too, Mr. Klaus Mikaelson." Christy said. "By the way, what happened to Gaspar Cortez?"

"Well, after I bit him, Marcalos came and got him, so, he's gone forever." Klaus said. "I understand that I deserve whatever comeuppance comes to me, but I don't want my past ruining my what I have with you."

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and they share a kiss.

"And besides, you look cute whenever you get mad." Christy said, light-hearted tease.

"Really?" Klaus said.

"You did say I can tease you later, and I just did." Christy said.

Klaus rolls his eyes. "Bloody hell." And walks away.

Christy laughs softly, walking after Klaus and gently wraps her arms around his shoulders. And Klaus chuckled.
