THE REAL FRIENDS of Spider-Man were at Ned's grandmother's house. MJ sat with Gwen and Ned at the table hearing the news report of the attack at the condominium.

Peter was pacing around the room on his phone. He'd been trying to call Y/N and Michael. He even tried calling May, but they were all going to voicemail. It was scaring him, he didn't know if somehow they were all in the building.

Suddenly, as Peter was trying to call them again, he heard what the journalist on the scene was saying.

"We are told that multiple people have been injured, and we can confirm that one of the victims, Michael L/N, has been killed. The New York Bulletin journalist and known father of Spider-Man, was fifty-one."

The teenagers shot a glance at each other then looked at Peter. The boy kept staring at the television for a moment, then looked down at his phone. The tossed it on the table and sat down, burying his face into his palms.

Gwen sat in the seat beside her boyfriend and hugged him, offering any sort of solace she could. The boy had lost Ben years ago and now lost Tony and Michael in the span of 12 months. And he felt for Y/N, who now lost both his parents.

MJ sighed and turned to the Macchina di Kadavus on the table. She stared at it for a moment.

"I'm gonna press it." She said.

Ned looked at MJ. "What? No, heโ€“"

"Do it." Peter agreed, his voice breaking a bit. "I know he said he'd call...but just do it."

"I justโ€“" Ned flailed his hands around. "I just wish we could see him."

Suddenly, a few sparks appeared in the middle of the dining room before disappearing. They looked back in confusion.

"What the hell was that?" Gwen asked.

"Ned?" MJ spoke.

"Yeah?"

"Do that again."

He flailed his hands a bit more. "I just wish we could see him."

More sparks appeared and a portal formed, but it quickly closed. Ned understood that the sling ring he was currently wearing worked.

"Okay...okay." Ned got up and did the motions he remembered Doctor Strange doing. "I just wish we could see Y/N."

Finally, a portal fully opened. The rest of the teenagers got up from their seats and looked on in awe. Ned's grandma, who came into the room, gasped and spoke to her grandson.

"Lola, you're right. I am magic." He replied.

"Holy shit..." Peter breathed out and looked at his friend. "You're a wizard."

"This is the craziest thing ever." Ned said as he looked at his hands.

MJ was focused on the portal, looking into it and seeing a figure within the alley it opened to.

"Is that him?" She asked.

Gwen noticed the suit he was wearing. "Yeah, yeah, it's gotta be."

"Y/N!" MJ called out and then was joined by the rest.

"Hey, Y/N!"

"Y/N!"

"Over here!"

The figure looked at them and sprinted across the alley. He leaped through the portal and entered the dining room, where Ned's lola screamed in fear.

"Hi. Hi!" The man, wearing a Spider-Man suit, greeted.

The old lady threw a pillow at him and the man tried calming her down.

"No, no, no, it's okay. I'm a nice guy! A nice guy!"

He removed his mask and looked at the teenagers. Immediately, they stared at the man in confusion, since he didn't look like Y/N.

"Who the hell are you?" MJ asked.

He held up his arms. "I'm Y/N L/N."

"That's not possible."

"I am Spider-Man, in my world. But then yesterday, I was somehow...here."

They still looked at him, not sure whether to trust the supposed multiversal being. They stepped back and were vigilant as Y/N paced around the room, checking out his surroundings.

"String theory, multidimensional reality...and matter displacement. All real?" He asked.

"Yeah." Gwen and Peter replied in unison.

He pumped his fist. "I knew it."

Ned nudged MJ on the arm. "This has to be because of the spell."

"The spell?" Y/N overheard his remark. "Like magic spell?"

"Uh...there's no spell. No." He quickly butted.

"No spell." MJ added.

"Magic's real here too?" Y/N asked.

Ned shrugged. "I meanโ€“"

"Ned, shut up." MJ interjected.

"No, it's not real."

"Shut up."

"There's magicians, but there's noโ€“"

"Stop talking." MJ glared. "Stop. Stop."

Ned finally stopped. Gwen, still vigilant, looked at the multiversal man.

"Prove it."

"Prove what?" He asked the blonde.

"That you're Y/N L/N."

He ran his hands along his hidden pockets. "Sorry...I uh...don't carry my license with me. And it kinda defeats the whole anonymous superhero thing. On second thought...I actually don't...driveโ€“"

He was suddenly hit by a roll of bread thrown by MJ. Y/N looked at the brunette.

"What was that for?"

"To see if you have the tingle thing." She answered.

"I have the tingle thing, just not for bread." He replied. "Or any other food except for maybe tomatoes."

"Peter, go get tomatoes." MJ quickly said and picked up another roll.

Y/N shook his head. "Please, don't get tomatoes or throw any other food."

She still held the bread in her hand and was prepared to throw it. Y/N sighed and looked at her.

"You're a deeply mistrusting person...and I respect it."

Y/N jumped up and stuck a hand onto the ceiling, dangling himself from it. Still not convinced by the act, she shrugged and waved her finger around.

"Crawl around." She commanded.

"Crawl around?" He asked.

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes, crawl around."

"Why do I need to crawl around?"

"Because it's not enough."

"This is plenty."

"Just do it or she'll throw that bread at you." Gwen chimed in.

"This is enough." Y/N said.

"No, it's not." MJ butted.

"Then how am I sticking to the ceiling?"

MJ threw the roll at Y/N and hit him in the chest. "Do it."

Ned's lola spoke to her grandson in Tagalog as he pointed at Spider-Man. The boy nodded and talked to him.

"My lola's asking if you could just get the cobweb there." Ned pointed at the corner of the ceiling. "Since you're, like, already up there."

Y/N was willing to do that for her. "Sure."

He held his mask between his lips and wall-crawled across the ceiling. The kids looked on in awe, taking it as further proof that he was actually Spider-Man. Y/N pulled the cobwebs off.

"Thank you." Ned's lola said in English.

Y/N dropped down and opened up his arms. He took the mask out of his mouth. "We good?"

"For now." MJ replied then turned to her friends. They all huddled up as Y/N stood aside.

"So...I opened the wrong portal to the wrong Y/N L/N." Ned said.

"Yeah...I guess you just keep doing it until we find the real one."

"Ouch." Y/N spoke.

"No offense." MJ added.

"Well...take it away Doctor Leeds." Peter told him.

"Heh. Okay."

After the first portal closed, Ned raised his arms and did the motions again.

"Find Y/N L/N."

Spider-Man pointed at the sling ring on his fingers. "What's the thing on hisโ€“"

"Shhh." MJ shushed him.

Ned tried again. "Find Y/N L/N."

There was nothing. The boy focused even harder and waved his hand around another time.

"Find Y/N L/N!"

Finally, a portal opened behind him. They looked back and saw a silhouette within the entrance. The man, wearing plainclothes, stepped into the dining room and looked around.

"Great, it's just some random guy." Ned said.

"Hi." He awkwardly waved. "I hope it's okay, I just came through this..." He looked back and saw that the portal vanished. "Oh...it just closed."

Gwen leaned closer to Peter and whispered. "Isn't that the guy from Titanic?"

"At this point, I don't even know what's going on." Peter replied.

MJ pointed at the man. "You're Y/N?"

"Yeah. Y/N L/N." He looked at the rest of the kids. "I've seen you guysโ€“"

He glanced at Ned's lola nearby, who smiled and waved at the older handsome-looking man. He smiled back. "Hi."

Y/N looked at the other Y/N in the Spider-Man suit. He didn't recognize him as the one he was looking for.

"Wait. He's...he's not your friend." He said.

They stared each other down in the dining room. As they did, they could feel a buzzing and hear a faint ringing in their head. Immediately, they shot webs at each other.

They flipped over and dodged the incoming projectiles. Y/N 3 landed on the island but Y/N 2 recovered quicker and shot a web at his variant's web shooter. He nodded at the older man in astonishment.

"Wait. So you're Spider-Man too?" Ned asked the man. "Why didn't you just say that?"

"I generally don't go around spreading the word. It kinda defeats the whole anonymous superhero thing." He replied.

"I just said that." Y/N 3 muttered.

MJ recalled that too. "That's what he just said."

Ned's lola began to exclaim and speak to the men in Tagalog. Ned was listening to his grandmother and translating it for them.

"My lola's asking if you two could clean up the webs you just shot."

"Oh, sorry, Lola." Y/N 3 apologized.

Y/N 2 nodded. "Yes, of course."

The old lady shook her head and walked out of the room. "I'm going to bed."

After she left, Y/N 2 spoke to the kids. "This might sound weird, but I've been trying to find your friend ever since I got here. I just have this sense that...that he needs my help."

"Our help." Y/N 3 added.

"He does." MJ said.

Peter rubbed the back of his head. "We don't know where he is."

"And, honestly, right now we're all he really has left." MJ added.

Y/N 2 nodded and thought. "Well, is there someplace that he might go that has meaning to him? Like a place where he would go to justโ€”?"

"Get away from everything?" Y/N 3 interjected, knowing exactly what he was talking about.

"For me, it was the top of the Chrysler Building." He replied.

"Empire State. It's just aโ€“It's a better view."

"Don't have a fond memory of that place. But it does have a sweet view."

MJ thought for a moment. She immediately knew where her boyfriend would be at a time like this to clear his head.

"Yeah. I think I know exactly where that would be."

Y/N SAT ON the roof of the Midtown High School building. He looked out at the skyline, his face still cut and bruised albeit now fading. But the wound that wasn't healing was his broken heart. And what wasn't fading...was the memory of seeing his father take his final breath.

Upon hearing footsteps nearby, he looked to his left and saw MJ, Ned, Peter, and Gwen coming down the ladder. His girlfriend was the first to hug him and then was joined by the rest of them.

Y/N began to cry. For the first time that night, he felt comfortable and was appreciative that they were there. The embrace and feeling of having his best friends and girlfriend with him eased his pain a little bit.

Amidst their encirclement, Y/N could sense another presence. He felt the buzzing in his head and heard the ringing.

"Y/N, there's..." MJ sniffled. "There's some people here."

Y/N looked at her and then quickly stood. He looked up at the tower above and saw two figures perched on it. Immediately distrusting, Y/N readied to engage them.

They dropped down onto the platform above them. Y/N extended his arm out and stepped back.

"Whoa! Wait..." He exclaimed and looked on in confusion. "What..?"

Y/N 2 spoke to his younger counterpart. "I'm sorry...about your dad, Michael."

"Yeah. Sorry." Y/N 3 said. "I got some understanding of what it is you'reโ€“"

"No, no, no. Please don't tell me that you know what I'm going through." Y/N shot back.

"Okay." He muttered.

"He's gone. And it's all my fault. He died for nothing." Y/N said shakily. "So I'm going to do what I should've done in the first place."

He reached for the cube MJ had in her hand. Y/N 2 called out to the boy.

"Y/Nโ€“"

"Please don't. You don't belong here. Either of you. So I'm sending you home. Those other guys are from your worlds, right? So you deal with it. If they die, if you kill them...that's on you. It's not my problem. I don't care anymore. I'm done. I'm really sorry that I dragged you into this. But you have to go home now. Good luck."

Y/N reached for the cube again, but MJ held it back. He looked at his girlfriend in confusion and she simply glanced at the other variants, letting him know to listen.

"My father was killed too. Michael." Y/N 2 said. "It was my fault."

"I lost..." Y/N 3 began, then looked at the blonde. "I lost Gwen. She was my...she was my girlfriend."

Y/N 2 looked over at his counterpart after his statement, giving a somber look before dropping his head. Y/N 3 continued.

"I couldn't save her. I'm never going to forgive myself for that. But I carried on, tried to...tried to keep going, tried to keep being that friendly neighborhood Spider-Man because I know that's what she would've wanted. Then at some point...I just stopped pulling my punches. I got rageful. I got bitter. I did things I regret. I just...I just don't want you to end up like me."

"The night my dad died...I hunted down the man who I thought did it. I wanted him dead. I got what I wanted. It didn't make it better." Y/N 2 spoke and let out an exhale. "People close to me...have died when they shouldn't. It's moments like those that take me a long time to...to learn to get through that darkness."

"I want to kill him. I wanna tear him apart." Y/N said mentioning Goblin. He was on the verge of tears again. "I can still hear my dad's voice in my head. Even after he was hurt...he said to me that we did the right thing."

The teenager sniffled and composed himself so that he wouldn't immediately bawl. He took a breath in.

"He told me that with great power..."

Y/N 2's eyes widened upon hearing the words. "Comes great responsibility."

The older man looked at Y/N 3, who nodded back. Y/N looked back at them in confusion.

"Wait, what? How do you know that?" He asked.

"Our dad said it." Y/N 3 replied.

"The day he died." Y/N 2 added.

Y/N inhaled shakily, taking in the revelation that although Michael died in their universes too, he gave the same wisdom to the heroes. He told them the words they live by as Spider-Man.

Y/N 2 continued. "Maybe he didn't die for nothing, Y/N."

THE THREE Y/Ns and his friends were in a lab within the school. Together, they planned to complete the rest of the cures for the villains and carry out Michael and Y/N's original plan.

Y/N emptied the bag of sorted the gadgets on the table.

"Okay, so Connors, Marko, Toomes, Dillon, and uh..." He held the antiserum syringe and slammed it on the table, choosing not to name Osborn. "I think that I can repair the devices for Dillon, Marko, and Toomes, but the others..."

"Oh, I got Connors. I've already cured him once, so no big deal." Y/N 3 picked up the vial. "It's no big deal."

"Great." Y/N 2 replied.

Y/N was taken back by the man's eagerness. "Yeah, that's great."

Y/N 3 nodded and walked away. Y/N 2 picked up the syringe and looked at it.

"I think I can make an antiserum for Dr. Osborn. I've been...I've been thinking about it for a long time." He said.

Y/N didn't respond and looked down. The older man noticed his silence and turned to him.

"Gotta cure all of them. Right?" Y/N 2 asked.

"Right."

"That's what we do." He replied and walked away as well.

Y/N sighed and looked at the devices he was going to fix. He looked up and saw MJ, who was standing still and staring at them.

"What?" He asked.

"It's just...there's three yous." She answered.

Y/N looked at his variants then turned back to MJ, letting out a breathy chuckle.

They continued working on the individual cures. Peter was also helping but spent most of his time refining his own project. He knew he was going to need it if he wanted to assist in the three Spider-Men's goals.

Ned rolled up between Y/N 2 and Y/N 3 in the rolling stool he was on. He looked at the older man as he was working.

"So...do you have any friends?" He asked.

"Yeah." Y/N 2 nodded, keeping his eyes on the beakers. "One of them is Peter too."

Peter, who was at another table nearby, overheard him and looked back. "Really?"

"Yup." Y/N 2 replied, this time moving his focus away from the cure and pulling out his phone. "I...um...actually have a picture of you wanna see."

"Oh, definitely."

He walked up to his table as Y/N 2 scrolled through photos on his phone. He finally made it to the one he was looking for and showed them the picture.

"Sorry...guess moving through universes messed with my picture quality." Y/N 2 said.

"That's me?" Peter asked.

"Yeah."

"That's insane."

Y/N 2 put his phone away and continued his work as he spoke again.

"I had another friend, but..."

"But what?" Ned asked.

"He died in my arms...after he tried to kill me." He put droplets into a vial. "Now that was heartbreaking."

"Dude..." Y/N 3 breathed out, hearing the exchange from a few feet away.

Peter glanced at Ned, who was processing the fact that Y/N 2's other best friend had died after falling to villainy. The boy went back to his project after the awkward silence.

Ned got up and walked toward the laptop on the table where Y/N worked. The web-slinger looked up from his tinkering and spoke to his friend.

"Can you run a diagnostic?" He asked.

"...yeah." Ned muttered and began typing.

After a moment he stared at Y/N, who looked back in confusion at his nervousness. Ned immediately turned around and walked away.

MJ came up to Y/N seconds afterward. He rubbed the side of his arm.

"Hey. Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine." He mumbled. "Are you okay?"

She nodded. Y/N turned to her and looked down at his hands.

"You don't deserve this." He said. "I've ruined your life. I ruined it."

"No. No, no, no." MJ held his head between her hands. "Look at me. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. We'll get through this and we'll get through it together. Okay?"

Y/N nodded. "Okay."

"Okay."

MJ leaned forward and touched his forehead with hers. Y/N closed his eyes and breathed in slowly.

"Thank you."

Nearby, Y/N 3 looked at them as he worked on Connors's cure. Y/N 2 turned around and noticed his gaze on Y/N and MJ.

"You have someone?" He asked him.

The question startled Y/N 3. He glanced back at his older counterpart before continuing his work.

"Uh, I guess you could say that. After uh...after Gwen...I ran into someone during a patrol. She was on the wrong side of the law at that point...but now she's pretty much in the middle. We're on and off."

Y/N 2 had an inkling of who he was referring to. "Felicia?"

"Yeah." Y/N 3 was taken aback by his answer. "You know her?"

"Yeah, we've run into each other here and there."

"You with her?"

"Uh...no." Y/N 2 replied.

"You with anyone?" Y/N 3 asked.

Y/N 2 chuckled. "It's complicated."

"I understand. Relationships are weird for guys like us."

"Well, yeah. But it ended up working out in the end. Took a while, but we made it work."

Y/N 3 looked at him. "Yeah?"

"Yeah. Me and...MJ." Y/N 2 noticed his variant raise a brow at his remark and chose to clarify. "Oh, I mean my MJ. It gets confusing here."

Y/N 3 snickered. "Yeah."

Ned and Gwen were at the table where they had the cube. The boy noticed a pop-up on the laptop ahead and called out to his friend.

"Y/N!"

"Yeah?" The three Y/Ns said in unison. They looked at each other and spoke again. "Oh, sorry, did you mean..?"

"Y/N Y/N." Ned tried to clarify.

Y/N 3 pointed at both his variants. "We're all called Y/N."

"We're all Y/N." Y/N said.

Ned hesitated. "Y/N L/N?"

"Same again. We're all Y/N L/N." Y/N 2 replied.

Ned let out an exasperated sigh and pointed at the laptop beside Y/N. "The computer."

"Oh." Y/N got up and went over to the computer. "Oh, I'm ready."

"Yeah, me too." Y/N 3 walked over to them with Lizard's cure. "Okay, so now, all we gotta do is lure these dudes someplace, right? Try to cure them while they try to...kill us...and then send them home."

Y/N 2 joined the group by the laptop as well. "Using a magic box?"

"Well, that's the plan." Y/N replied with a weak chuckle.

Y/N 3 looked at Y/N 2. "Are you gonna go into battle dressed like you're going to a Knicks game or...do you have your suit?"

Y/N 2 simply tugged on his collar, showing the man his suit underneath. Y/N 3 nodded and started taking off his lab coat.

"Don't forget your web cartridges." Peter said as he handed them to Y/N.

"Thanks, dude."

"What's that for?" Y/N 2 asked as he pointed.

"It's the web fluid for my web-shooters. Why?"

"Web shooters?" Y/N 2 chuckled and extended his arm, shooting webbing out of his wrist that stuck to a nearby stool.

Y/N yelled out at the sudden act and the group looked on in awe. Gwen stood beside MJ and quirked a brow as she looked at the man's wrist.

"That came out of you..." Ned said.

"Yeah." Y/N 2 replied and looked at Y/N. "You can't do that?"

"No."

Y/N 3 looked at the man's hands in genuine wonder. "How on earth does that evenโ€”?"

"Anyways, we're getting sidetracked." Y/N looked at a map of Liberty Island on the laptop and spoke.

"This is where we'll do this, okay? It's isolated, so no one should get hurt. We draw them there with the box. It's the one thing they all want. All we have to do is figure out how we're gonna get there."

"We could portal there." Ned offered.

"What?" Y/N asked him.

"I'm magic now."

"Yeah, he's right. He can." Gwen chimed in.

Peter nodded. "Oh, yeah. He's a wizard now."

"Yeah, we saw." Y/N 2 cut in.

"For real?" Y/N asked Ned.

"I got Doctor Strange magic, dude." He replied.

Y/N smiled. "No way."

"Yeah." Ned lifted his protective eyewear. "And I promise you, I won't turn into a supervillain and try to kill you."

Y/N 3, knowing why the boy felt he needed to say that, pat Ned on the back and gave him a reassuring nod.

"Okay..." Y/N replied. "Thank you."

He glanced at his variants, who simply shrugged. MJ, Peter, and Gwen didn't know what to say after their friend's remark and they stood there in silence for a good few seconds.

"Um, all right. Here goes nothing." Y/N finally spoke up and looked at MJ. "What's that thing you always say? Expect disappointment andโ€“"

"No, no, no." MJ stopped him. "We're gonna kick some ass."

Y/N softly smiled. "Okay."

"Cure." Y/N 2 corrected. "Cure some ass."

Ned nodded and looked at the rest of the group.

"Cure that ass."

THE THREE SPIDER-MEN were at Liberty Island. To lure the villains to them, Y/N came up with a way to let them know their location.

J. Jonah Jameson and The Daily Bugle got a call from none other than Spider-Man. The website's host and main journalist were more than welcome to speak with the menace he had been reporting on for the last few months.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Bugle tip line has just received a call from none other than the fugitive known as Spider-Man, fresh from his rampage on Queens. So, Y/N L/N, what pernicious propaganda are you peddling?"

Y/N spoke into his phone as his face was being broadcast through the city. "Just the truth."

"Oh, sure."

"Truth is..that this is all my fault. I accidentally brought those dangerous people here."

"Well, he admits it."

"And if those people are watching...just know that I really did try to help you. I mean...I could have killed you..." He held up the cube. "...at any given moment, but I didn't. Because my dad, Michael L/N, taught me that everyone deserves a second chance. That's why I'm here."

"Where is here, exactly?"

Y/N shifted his camera to show that he was at the currently-being-renovated Statue of Liberty.

"A place that represents second chances."

"The Statue of Liberty? Good God, folks. He's about to destroy another national landmark!"

"World, if you're watching..."

"Believe me, the world is watching."

...wish me luck. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man could really use some."

Y/N ended the call. He swung up to the top part of the statue and perched on the crown. He spoke to his counterparts on the scaffolding below.

"Okay, it could be any minute now."

"Yep, almost done." Y/N 2 called out.

He webbed a cure to the ceiling and then rappelled one of them to the top where Y/N was. Y/N 3 leaned against the bars and stretched.

"You know, Max was, like the sweetest guy ever. Well, before he fell into...a pool of electric eels." He said.

"That'll do it." Y/N 2 replied.

The older man began stretching as well. He bent backward over a railing and tried to further alleviate his spine.

"You okay?" Y/N 3 asked with a chuckle.

"Oh, it's my back. It's kinda stiff from all the swinging, I guess."

"Oh, yeah. No, I got a middle back thing too."

"Really?"

"Yup. Want me to crack it?"

Y/N 2 looked at him. "Yeah. That'll be great."

"All right."

Y/N 2 crossed his arms and Y/N 3 grabbed him from behind. He lifted and bounced him a few times until he heard a crack.

"Yep. That's good." Y/N 3 said as he put him down. "How was it?"

"Wow. That is good. That's better."

Y/N 3 smiled and crouched down, leaning on the bars behind him.

"This is so cool. I always wanted brothers." He looked at Y/N 2. "So you, like, make your own web fluid in your body?"

"I'd rather not talk about this." He replied.

"I don't mean toโ€”"

"Are you teasing me?"

"No, no, no. He's not teasing." Y/N called out to them from above. "It's just that we can't do that so naturally we're curious as to how your web situation works, that's all."

"If it's personal, I don't wanna pry, but I just think it's cool." Y/N 3 said.

Y/N 2 replied. "Iโ€”I wish I could tell you, but it's, like, I don't do it. Like I don't...do breathing. Like, breathing just happens."

"Does it just come out of your wrists, or...does it come out of anywhere else?" Y/N asked him.

"Only the wrists."

"Never had a web block?" Y/N 3 asked. "I run out of webs all the time. I have to make my own in a lab...and it's a hassle compared to what you got."

"That sounds like a hassle...yeah. But I did. You said that. I was like, oh, I had a web block."

"Why?"

"Personal crisis stuff. Juggling the double life...keeping secrets...canceling dates."

"Yeah, don't get me started on that shit." Y/N 3 replied.

"Hey." Y/N spoke to them. "What are, like, some of the craziest villains that you guys have fought?"

Y/N 2 chuckled. "Seems you've met some of them."

"That's a good question." Y/N 3 remarked.

"I've had some weird ones...uh..." Y/N 2 began to think. "There was this one that had a fish bowl and a purple cape who used gas to make you hallucinate."

"Fish bowl? Mysterio?" Y/N asked.

"Yeah! That's the one. Crazy thing was that he's been around since I was eighteen...but I never realized it. He was just...there."

Y/N sighed. "I hate him."

"You?" He asked the teenager.

"My first was a...guy on a hoverboard. But it went up a notch with Vulture."

"Vulture? Oh, he was a doozy. He was probably my most painful to deal with."

"That old geezer?" Y/N asked.

"We fought in the sky and he slammed me into a lot of windows, and I mean a lot. I had shards of glass in my back for days."

"Ouch. Well, mine...uh...made me miss homecoming and I fought him on a plane."

"That's ballsy." Y/N 3 replied.

"Years ago, I fought an alien made out of black goo once." Y/N 2 recalled.

"Oh, no way. I fought an alien too. On Earth and in space. He was purple and had a nutsack for a chin." The boy said.

"Oh?"

"I want to fight an alien." Y/N 3 chimed in.

Y/N 2 was still taken back by the teenager's statement. "I'm still, like, surprised that you fought an alien in space."

Y/N 3 sighed. "I'm lame compared to you guys. I fought a Russian guy in a rhinoceros machine." He crossed his arms and thought back. "And then there was this guy who came from the jungle and wore fur."

"Can we rewind it back to the I'm lame part?" The older man spoke. "Because you are not."

"Thanks. I really appreciate that. I'm not saying I amโ€“"

"But it's just the self-talk. Maybe we should...you know..."

"Listen, Iโ€“"

"Because you're amazing. Just to take it in for a minute. You are amazing."

"Yeah, I can take it in."

"You are amazing."

"Thank you. I can."

"Will you say it?"

Y/N 3 nodded. "I kinda needed to hear that. Thank you."

During their exchange, the three Y/N's spider-senses tingled. The teenager held the box in one hand and looked out in the distance.

"All right, guys, focus up. You feel that?"

"Yeah." Y/N 2 replied and stood beside Y/N 3 as they stared at the sky.

They heard thunder rumbling. A few seconds later, they also heard what sounded like a plane coming.

"What's up, Y/N?" Electro's booming voice spoke.

Y/N looked back just when Max appeared in a flash of lightning. He smiled at the boy, wearing new gear and the arc reactor on his chest.

"How you like the new-new? Look, you give the box to me, I'm gonna destroy it."

Moments later, Vulture appeared beside him and stayed in the air by flapping his wings. Y/N stared at them, still gripping the box.

"He'll shred you to pieces, Y/N. That's if I don't fry you from the inside out first." Max added.

Y/N put in his mask and somersaulted off the crown of the statue. He initiated a dive as the two villains pursued.

"Okay, guys, here they come."

Y/N 2 and 3 put their masks on as well and sprung into action. Y/N 3 swung in front of Electro and the villain saw him.

"Hey, Max! I missed you, man." He exclaimed.

Electro shot a lightning bolt at Spider-Man but the man zipped away. Meanwhile, Y/N swung up the statue and saw Ned, MJ, and Gwen through an open portal.

"All right, MJ, heads up!"

He tossed the box toward them. Vulture was soaring by and about to catch it, but was suddenly tackled midair by someone coming out of the portal. This allowed MJ to catch the box.

It was Peter, sporting a makeshift Iron Man armor that he was assembling the last few days. Adrian hit the side of the statue and fell on the scaffolding, where Peter landed in front of him.

"Parker!" Adrian growled as he slammed his fist into the floor.

"Stay down, Birdman. Let us save you."

"I couldn't kill you back in my world...but I will here."

Vulture soared toward him and Peter immediately flew up as the villain followed him.

Meanwhile, Ned was trying to close the portal. He tried again but it wasn't working.

"Close it!" Gwen exclaimed.

"Uh..."

MJ looked at him. "Ned, it's notโ€“"

"I'm trying!"

"Have you closed one before? No?"

"'No...I'm mean...I've opened some."

While the teenagers were trying to figure out how to shut the portal, the Lizard came out of the river and roared from below. The Spider-Men and Silver Centurion were still keeping Electro and Vulture occupied.

"Max, Max, Max. Can we talk for a second?" Y/N 3 spoke to him from the crown. "Just you and me, just talk?"

Electro boomed from above. "Look who showed up. My old friend Spider-Man."

"I'm trying to save you. That's all I've ever wanted."

"You're not trying to save me."

"I am."

"You ain't even the shit no more! Don't worry about me, I'm saving myself." He shot another bolt of Spider-Man. "Burn up!"

Y/N 3 leaped off the crown and swung away. He communicated with his fellow variants. "Well, I got his attention. Now what?"

"Okay, great!" Y/N 2 felt something grab his leg as he swung. "Just FYI, I got Connors here too!"

They hit a crane and Y/N stuck to the side of it. Lizard roared as he climbed up toward Spider-Man.

"Guys, comm check. Hello?"

"I need Max's cure!" Y/N 3 exclaimed.

"Yeah. I'm on it!" Y/N said with from scaffolding.

"Y/N! Throw me Vulture's key!" Peter radioed.

"Uh...yeah, I got it!"

"Y/N, I need the Lizard cure!" Y/N 2 shouted.

"Okay! Okay!"

Y/N ran down the scaffolding but was suddenly grabbed by a large hand made of sand. Sandman held the boy in his fist.

"Where's the box, Y/N?" Flint asked.

"Flint, we could help everyone!"

"I don't care!"

Y/N struggled to get out of his grasp. Y/N 3 swung around the island avoiding Electro while Y/N 3 climbed up the crane away from the Lizard.

Y/N shot a web at the crane to try and pull himself out, but Y/N 3 hit the line and fell. Y/N 3 shot a web up to catch himself, but it hit Y/N 2's face instead. Lizard grabbed the disoriented Spider-Man and threw him against the metal beams.

"Sorry!" Y/N 3 shouted as he fell.

Y/N 2 pulled the goop off his face. "Gross!"

Electro shot a bolt of lightning at the crane, breaking it in half and a part of it crashing onto Sandman. Y/N got free of his grasp and fell back onto the scaffolding as sand scattered everywhere.

"Ugh...guys...?" He spoke into his radio. "Peter? Everything all right up there?"

Meanwhile, Peter was still in the skies in an aerial battle with Vulture. He only shot his repulsors a few times at Toomes as he was mostly using evasive maneuvers while waiting for the cure.

"I'm all right! Just get me that key. This old guy's got all the energy in the world!"

"Well...that's because of the adrenaline pumping into his body every five to ten minutes."

"What?"

Suddenly, Sandman recovered and gathered tons of sand from the construction site below. He formed a tornado that enveloped the Statue of Liberty along with Electro.

Y/N took off his mask and held onto the bars on the scaffolding. Y/N 3 and 2 joined him where he was at and took a moment to regroup.

"What the hell is going on out there?" An unmasked Y/N 3 exclaimed and looked at Y/N 2. "I keep yelling at you. Y/N 2!"

"I thought you were Y/N 2." He replied as he removed his mask.

"What? I'm not Y/N 2."

"Stop arguing, both of you! Listen to Y/N 1!" The teenager interjected. "Look, we're clearly not very good at this."

"I know, I know. We suck." Y/N 3 replied. "I don't know how to work as a team."

"Me neither." Y/N 2 said.

"Well, I do. I've been in a team, okay?" Y/N told them. "I don't wanna brag, but I will. I was in the Avengers."

"The Avengers?" Y/N 2 asked.

"Yeah."

"That's great!"

"Thank you."

"What is that?"

Y/N 2 raised a brow. "You don't have the Avengers? Earth's Mightiest Heroes?"

"Is that like the Justice League? Do you have Batman in this universe?" Y/N 3 asked with widened eyes.

"No, there's no Batman! The Avengers is a teamโ€“"

"How is this helping?" Y/N 2 exclaimed.

"Look, it's not important. All we gotta do is focus, trust your tingle, and coordinate our attacks. Okay?" Y/N replied.

"Yes. Okay. Let's pick one target."

"Right."

"We take them off the board one at a time." Y/N 3 added.

"Now you got it!" Y/N said happily, then pointed at himself. "Okay, Y/N 1."

He pointed at Y/N 2. "Y/N 2."

"Y/N 2." He repeated.

He pointed at the younger one next but he named himself before Y/N 1 could. "Y/N 3!"

"All right, let's do this. Ready?"

Before they can run off, Y/N 3 stopped them. "Wait, wait, wait!"

They looked back at him and the young man grabbed their shoulders. He smiled. "I love you guys."

There was a moment of silence before the other two responded in unison. "We love you too."

They shared smiles for a brief second. Y/N put his mask back on and was followed by Y/N 2 and 3.

"All right, let's do this."

"Let's go."

The three Spider-Men ran across the scaffolding and leaped off the edge, each man letting out a shout of exhilaration. They swung around the landmark and up towards the top of the statue.

Y/N 2 perched on the tip of the crown. Y/N 3 landed on the head of the statue and was followed by Y/N. They all looked ahead at the three incoming villains.

Electro, Sandman, and Lizard were on the other side of the scaffolding. Immediately, the three Spider-Men jumped forward and engaged their rouges.
