Y/N WAS IN his room packing up his suitcase before he and Peter were dropped off at the airport. He stuffed the case with the last of his clothing as the phone on his nightstand continued to ring.
He knew the unknown call was probably Nick Fury, who tried phoning him last night during a charity event hosted by May. He didn't want to deal with whatever he was planning and he felt that Peter thought the same. They just wanted to spend their summer like normal teenagers.
"Okay." Y/N breathed out as he placed a few bundles of socks in his luggage.
He looked back at his closet and stared at the Stark-issued Spider-Man suit that hung from the rack. Y/N kept his gaze on it, thinking if he should pack it.
"Hungry?" A voice suddenly called out. It was May.
She threw a banana and it hit Y/N in the face before he can react. May put her hands over her mouth and gasped.
"I'm so sorry." May chuckled. "I thought you had that...tingle."
Y/N rubbed his cheek and let out a laugh as well.
"It's not a tingle...or at least I don't call it that." He replied and picked up the banana. "It's more of a sixth sense."
"So...a spider-sense?"
The teenager nodded. "That sounds about right. Might have to call it that."
"And that lets you dodge bullets but not bananas?"
"I don't really see fruits...or any type of food...as a threat to my well-being." Y/N replied. "Except tomatoes. I hate them."
"I'll remember that." May said with a chuckle before leaving. "Gonna go check on Peter."
Y/N was going to finish packing, but May popped back in to say one last thing.
"You know what? You should pack your suit, just in case. I have a tingle about it."
"Let's not make tingle a thing now, please."
She left to go speak with Peter. Y/N smiled and went back to packing.
It was nice having conversations with May Parker. Ever since he was blipped back, the grouping of him, Peter, Michael, May, and Anya felt right. They were like a family. It didn't bother Y/N seeing May as a sort of mother figure now.
Y/N closed the closet and left his suit in there. The teenager then looked down at the charging chamber containing his Iron-Spider suit.
He thought about it for a moment but ultimately shook his head.
"No. No, I'm not." He went over to his bed and closed his luggage. "It's time for the most epic summer."

PETER AND NED were already seated. The rest of the students walked through the aisle and were joined by the two main chaperones, Mr. Harrington and Mr. Dell.
"Do you want the first shift or the second? I could take either." Mr. Harrington asked Mr. Dell.
"Give me the third. I took an Ambien."
"Come on. I can't chaperone these kids alone."
They continued down the aisle. Behind them were Y/N, MJ, and Gwen. Another student, named Brad, was also with them.
"Yo, Parker!" Flash suddenly called out from the other side of the plane. He was holding an alcoholic beverage. "This is called an airplane. It's like the buses you're used to, except it flies over the poor neighborhoods instead of driving through them."
MJ spoke to a flight attendant that happened to walk by Flash.
"Ma'am? He Blipped, so technically, he's 16. Not 21."
The lady nodded and took away the glass from his hand. "I'll take that."
"She's lying! I don't even know this girl!" Flash pleaded as he went after the attendant.
MJ smirked at Peter, who gave a nod of appreciation. They kept walking and Y/N looked back at his girlfriend.
"I'll never get enough of you owning Flash." He remarked.
"My specialty. Making life hard for the jerks of the world."
The two laughed. They also found it funny how they were 18 while Flash was barely going to turn 17. Even with the blip dusting them all away for the same amount of years, they still could somewhat one-up him that way.
It was a perk of having your birthday earlier in the year AND before the snap. In Y/N's case, his was in February while for MJ, it was in the middle of May. They were able to turn 17 before the snap and when they came back, were able to have their 18th birthday during the school year.
Peter wasn't so lucky and found himself in the same predicament as Flash. His birthday was in August, which was three months after the snap. He blipped at 16 and came back 16, barely missing his 17th birthday since they all returned in October. He was finally going to turn 17 the coming August, which he was looking forward too.
Gwen sat down beside Betty in the middle row. MJ and Y/N had seats by the window beside Gwen and Betty. Y/N grabbed MJ's luggage along with his and put it in the cubby above them...all with one hand.
"Whoa, Y/N." Brad said. "Didn't know you hit the gym."
"Uh...right. I started after my dad bought a membership for me."
"Right on." He replied with a nod.
Brad's seat was behind Y/N and MJ. The student looked at the empty seats and arched a brow.
"I wonder where...?"
Suddenly, the person he was looking for came out of the restroom. She walked down the aisle and smiled at Brad.
"Cindy." Brad greeted.
"Sorry, I had to go before liftoff."
Immediately, Y/N and Cindy locked eyes and stared at each other for a moment. Brad was the first to notice and began to speak.
"Cindy's my girlfriend. I know, pretty weird since we were like...five grades apart before the Blip. But it doesn't matter now."
Y/N feigned a smile and swallowed. "That's great."
He looked away and closed the cubby, quickly motioning MJ to sit down. Y/N took a breath and sat beside her.
"I never knew Cindy was dating. And Brad?" She remarked.
"Yeah." He quickly said.
The teenager was starting to get hot. He figured Cindy was feeling the same way. And for them to be basically a mere couple feet from each other, her sitting behind Y/N, it was not going to be a smooth flight.
In another predicament, Peter was trying to sit next to Gwen. Peter sent Ned to ask Betty to switch seats with him in order to do so.
"Hey, guys." Ned greeted. "There's an old lady in front of us wearing a crazy amount of perfume, and it's kind of setting off Peter's allergies. Betty, if you could switch seats with him, that would be–"
"He's allergic to perfume?" Betty asked.
"Yeah...yeah! It makes his eyes water. He can't really breathe..."
"We could switch seats with you guys." Y/N quickly blurted, in which MJ glanced at him weirdly.
It didn't matter if it screwed with Peter's plan...he just needed to get out of there.
Ned didn't expect that reply. "Uh..."
"Peter has a perfume allergy?" Mr. Harrington peeked over his seat and looked at Ned.
"Well–"
"I'll tell you from experience..." He unbuckled his seatbelt. "Perfume allergies are no joke. I can feel hives breaking out already."
Mr. Harrington began to move students as he called out. "Gwen, stand up. Ned, take Gwen's spot. Gwen, you take my spot. Peter, you come with me. Let's get you out of there."
The chaperone looked at Y/N and MJ, and the former thought he was going to move them too. But his hopes were soon shattered.
"Zach and Sebastian, you take Ned and Peter's seats." He called out, then he looked at Ned. "Ned, thank you for bringing this to my attention. Your safety is my responsibility. And Mr. Dell's but he's..."
He glanced at the teacher, who was already knocked out and snoring. Mr. Harrington continued.
"I got it for now. Let's go, Peter!"
Peter's plan was already a failure. He walked by, seeing Gwen sitting with a sleeping Mr. Dell, an anxious Ned with Betty, and Y/N who was just staring ahead at the chair in front of him. He wondered what was wrong with him.
Ned looked at Betty. "So, did you want to play Beast Slayer?"
"Nope." She replied.
"Have you ever played any kind of PC game or–"
"Nope."
Ned nodded. "Got it."
Mr. Harrington began to ramble to Peter, who wasn't listening and just thinking of how bad this all went.
"Did I tell you how my wife pretended to be Blip out? Turns out, she ran off with a guy in her hiking group. We had a fake funeral and everything..."

IT WAS ABOUT four hours into their flight. Ned was actually starting to get close to Betty. Peter, on the other hand, had to deal with sitting next to Mr. Harrington for that duration of time.
Then there was Y/N, who was struggling to sit still, frequently shifting in his seat even while watching movies with MJ.
She still didn't understand what was going on with Y/N and why he was so hot and bothered. The teenager wouldn't say why and simply brush it off. MJ wasn't going to let that be any more.
"All right." She paused the movie and took off her headphones. "What's the matter?"
"What?" He asked in a rather high-pitched voice. "Why did you stop the movie?"
"It's going to stay paused unless you tell me what's wrong."
"Nothing's wrong."
"Please. You've been moving around in your seat like a jittery five-year-old."
"The seats...are very uncomfortable."
Y/N had been also sitting cross-legged for most of the flight along with his hands on his lap. MJ noticed him in that position still.
"Do you need to go to the bathroom?" She asked.
"No..." He snapped, then thought. "Actually, maybe." He thought about it more until deciding not to relieve himself. "No."
Y/N let out an exhale and rubbed his face with his hands. In his exhausted state, he didn't realize he left his lap uncovered and MJ looked down. She was surprised.
"Oh."
Y/N quickly covered his crotch again and swallowed. He looked at MJ with an embarrassed expression.
"Sorry...I just..." He tried to think of an excuse. "John Wick is just a really good movie."
MJ didn't believe that for a second and took it as a simple quip from her boyfriend.
"That's fine. It's just..." She scratched the back of her neck. "This is the first time I've seen it happen."
She had a point. The only affection they've given one another so far were mostly kisses, hugs, and the occasional cuddling. In those cases, he never got physically excited. They've never even had sex yet.
"This is very embarrassing." He muttered as he looked down.
"Don't be." She replied and nudged his arm. "Knowing I have that effect on you is very empowering."
Y/N chuckled. "Yeah..."
MJ leaned over and grabbed a blanket she had tucked away under the seat. She draped it over her and Y/N so that it covered them. Y/N appreciated it and was expecting to nestle beside her as they continued watching the movie.
But then, Y/N felt her hands go towards his groin and she ran her palm over the swell of his jeans. His breathing hitched and he glanced over at MJ.
"What...what are you—"
"Being a good girlfriend." She replied and her fingers started fiddling with his zipper. "Now watch the movie and don't draw attention."
He nodded and moved his gaze to the small screen in front of him. Immediately, his girlfriend's touch alleviated him and Y/N could finally relax.
A few hours later, everybody departed the plane and were checking in at the airport in Venice. Peter was shocked at finding out Ned and Betty became a couple after only hours on a plane. Now he was the single one out of his three guy friends. He was going to have to make a move now on Gwen.
Y/N allowed his luggage to be checked by security. The woman had a stoic look as she placed the case on the table.
"There's nothing in there. I swear." He said.
The lady unzipped the luggage and opened it. The first thing he saw was his Spider-Man suit, which made his eyes widen. A post-it note by his father was on the suit.
May told me to pack this for you. Just in case. Have fun!
Y/N looked back at the lady, trying to think of an excuse for having such a costume. She moved the suit aside and pulled out a banana, one that May or Michael possibly put in as well.
The lady held the fruit up and looked at Y/N. She didn't care about the costume.
"This, no."

THE CLASS TOOK a boat through the Grand Canal to the town where their hotel was located. The small group had a great time, with Ned taking photos of Betty and vice versa. Even Mr. Dell decided to join in.
Peter didn't know why he was so nervous. He'd hung out with Gwen so many times before, he even took her to homecoming the year before they were Blipped. Still, he was anxious and wondered if Gwen felt the same way he was.
Finally, the boat stopped at a dock and Mr. Harrington called out to them.
"Looks like we're here. They're doing renovations to the place. Getting some upgrades."
A student looked at the old beaten down hotel. "Oh, man. This is trash."
They all got off the boat and entered the hotel. MJ and Y/N walked beside each other but bumped into Brad and Cindy. Y/N immediately diverted their path away to gain some distance, which confused his girlfriend.
"This place is sinking." Flash remarked at the flooding in the lobby.
"I think you mean, charming." Mr. Harrington tried to save face.
"Okay, everybody, drop your bags off." Mr. Bell spoke. "We're gonna meet at the da Vinci Museum at 3. Let's go!"
"¡Vámonos!" Mr. Harrington exclaimed.
"It's andiamo." Gwen corrected.
"Andiamo!"
"There you go."
Y/N had left his luggage in the room he, Ned, and Peter were sharing. They noticed their beds were just mattresses without the comforters, so Y/N took it upon himself to go to the lobby and ask about it.
He walked down the hallway and made a right. Suddenly, he bumped into Cindy, who knew he would be there.
"Cindy?" He asked quickly. He was about to leave her. "I gotta go–"
"No." She butted and grabbed his arm. "We have to talk about this."
By her grip, Y/N could tell she had some sort of super-strength. It further confirmed that she had similar abilities to him.
"I don't think this is the best time."
"There'll never be a good time if we're avoiding each other throughout this whole trip."
"For good reason." He replied. "We stick together for more than two minutes and we're canoodling against the wall."
Y/N tried to walk away, but Cindy spoke out again.
"I was bitten by the same spider you were."
The teenager turned around and looked at the girl. He recalled that fateful day at the exhibit. Little by little he remembered that along with Peter, Cindy was among the students that attended.
"You were?" He asked.
"I just pieced it together." She replied. "My powers took a while to surface and even when I got them I was scared shitless. I just kept it a secret. Not even my parents know."
Y/N exhaled and fully turned around to face her. "I was scared too. I...didn't know what to do at first."
"But you chose to use it for good. Be a hero."
"That wasn't the plan initially. I was selfish...and in turn, people got hurt. I put on the mask to correct those mistakes."
"That's why I came out that day when I ran into you." She said. "It seemed wild to me that you went out every day and used your powers to help others. You weren't scared. So I thought I shouldn't be either."
Y/N nodded then chuckled. "I'm glad I served as inspiration...in a way."
Somehow, during their conversation, they had gotten closer and Cindy's back was to the wall as Y/N hovered over her. It was something they didn't notice right away.
"Then what's the explanation for our...urges?" She asked.
"I hypothesize that since we were bitten by the same arachnid–"
"It makes us the same species."
"Yeah. In turn, we probably release pheromones in a way. Igniting a sort of animalistic urge."
"An urge to mate."
"Yeah."
"Good hypothesis."
Y/N was close to leaning in to kiss Cindy but somehow found it in him to stop. The Korean girl also stood still, letting out an exhale.
Suddenly, he looked to his left and saw someone looking at them. Y/N's eyes widened as well as Cindy's once she noticed.
It was MJ.
The tan-skinned brunette didn't know what to say. She just stood still and looked on at the two teenagers who were basically flushed together. Her friend and boyfriend together.
"MJ..." He called out.
"You couldn't have just waited until after the trip to end things between us?" She asked rather dejectedly. "Or maybe even before?"
"No–"
"All right."
MJ was going to walk away, but Y/N sprinted forward and grabbed her by the arm. MJ looked back.
"Let me go."
"Please, MJ. Let me explain."
"What's there to explain?"
"A lot." Cindy chimed in. "And it's pretty complicated."
MJ, still pretty pissed, was now curious by what excuse they had. She eyed the two.
"Try me."

THE TWO SPIDERLINGS explained their predicament to MJ. Cindy was fine revealing her abilities to her classmate if it meant not ruining their friendship and her relationship with Y/N.
MJ found their instinctive attraction weird, but she understood. The animal kingdom and Homo sapiens were similar in those ways.
So, the eighteen-year-old forgave them and put what she saw aside. Y/N and Cindy also agreed to keep their distance from each other during the trip.
One thing that still annoyed MJ though was their moment back on the plane. Unbeknownst to her, she had relieved Y/N's hard-on that was actually directed toward Cindy. He was going to have to make it up to her somehow.
They continued their trip and finished exploring the da Vinci Museum. The students split up and spent time as they wished.
Ned and Betty sat down and had a caricature drawing made of them. Peter ended up spending time with Gwen, but it wasn't alone, as per Y/N's own plan, MJ had to be with them as Y/N went to go get a gift for his girlfriend.
So, while Peter was on the side thinking to himself about what else to do with Gwen...the blonde was snapping photos of MJ.
Y/N was in the distance watching as MJ stood amidst a flock of pigeons and a few of them perched onto her arms. He smiled, then turned around to leave.
He almost ran into a man wearing a floral shirt and cap who was on the phone. Y/N didn't even look at him directly, as he was in a rush.
"Sorry."
The teenager made it to a shop that dwelled in glass-made goods and souvenirs. He already had his wallet in hand as he spoke to the man at the counter.
"Bonjour." He greeted.
"Bonjour." The man said back.
"Hi. I'm looking for maybe a glass pendant of a flower..."
"Oh, okay." The man said in English. He took out a case of many different necklaces.
One caught Y/N's eye and he was elated to see that it was exactly what he was looking for. The man noticed his gaze and took it out, holding it in front of Y/N.
"Dahlia noir." The man said.
Y/N took it and gazed at the jewelry. The teenager smiled.
"It's perfect."
Once he was finished, Y/N walked out of the shop and down the path, passing by citizens and other tourists. Suddenly, he was startled by a voice.
"Boh!"
Y/N looked to his left and saw MJ. He chuckled as he kept the little bag containing the gift hidden behind his back.
"What?"
"Boh." She repeated. "The most perfect word. Italians created it and I just discovered it."
The two began to walk together. Y/N looked at MJ.
"What does it mean?"
"It can mean a million things. I don't know. Get out of my face. I don't know and Get out of my face. It's the best thing Italy ever created, except for, maybe, the espresso."
"Didn't know you liked espresso." Y/N remarked.
They walked up the steps and a man noticed the couple. He held out a rose and wanted to sell it to them.
"Boh." MJ said.
The man gave them an annoyed looked and walked away. Y/N nodded his head in intrigue.
"Whoa."
"You aren't the only one with a superpower. Boh is mine. It's like the anti-aloha. I was born to say this word."
Y/N chuckled. MJ looked down at his hands and noticed the bag.
"What's in the bag?"
"Oh...uh...the head of David Mills's wife." He joked referencing the movie Se7en.
MJ rolled her eyes. "It's what's in the box, not bag."
"Well then..." He cleared his throat. "Boh."
MJ laughed. Just with his expression alone, she knew it was probably a gift for her. It would explain the lame excuse he gave before of wanting to check out the food stand they had passed by and why he left her with Peter and Gwen. Still, she let it be.
"Nice." She replied with a smirk. "Now let's go meet back up with Peter. I want to know if things are going great between him and Gwen."
Y/N chuckled. "You know?"
"Please."
They walked down the steps. MJ noticed small crabs coming out of the water and onto the sidewalk they were on.
"Whoa, cool." She muttered and took out her camera. She snapped a photo and looked back at Y/N, who smiled back.
Suddenly, he looked to his right and saw the large puddle of water on the sidewalk being sucked through the drain. It was then that he heard the faint noise between his ears.
His spider-sense.
It was silent amidst the trill he was hearing. Bystanders noticed the water in the Grand Canal moving. Immediately, water shot up out of the canal as if an explosion happened beneath.
Boats were flung away and water rushed into the many shops by the canal, washing away many of the citizens. Bystanders ran off and Y/N looked on in shock.
A boat containing Ned and Betty crashed into the sidewalk Y/N and MJ were on. Thankfully, they were safe and sound, albeit terrified. The teenager went over to help.
"Betty! You okay?" Y/N asked as helped her out.
"Yeah!"
Betty went over to MJ as Y/N helped Ned next.
"Come on!"
"Guys! We got to go!" Betty exclaimed.
More water rose from the canal and started to form a large behemoth-like figure.
"What is that?" Ned asked in shock.
"I don't know." Y/N replied.
"What are you going to do?"
"I left my suit in the hotel, shit!"
"Why?"
"Because I'm on vacation, Ned!" Y/N glanced at the water monster and then back at Ned. "Get them out of here and look for Peter and Gwen. Go!"
Ned immediately went over to MJ and Betty and ran away with them. More tourists and citizens ran off as well, leaving a standing Y/N looking on at the threat.
It pummeled nearby buildings with its fists and slammed down onto the water, causing large waves to form and wash onto the town.
A man fell as he ran, but Y/N helped him up. "Go! Get out of here!"
The monster raised his fist and was going to punch down in their area. Y/N looked up and his eyes widened.
"Oh, God!"
He quickly went behind a wall as it punched down. Water rushed through the sidewalks and washed away many of the running civilians. Y/N took a breath and tapped his wrists together, forming his web-shooters.
"So much for summer vacation."
