THE TELEVISION SCREEN in the hallways played a tribute by the school broadcasting department for the fallen Avengers. Natasha Romanoff, Vision, and Tony Stark were displayed while Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You played.

"Gone but not forgotten." Betty Brant said as she sat on the desk with her colleague, Jason Ionello, by her side.

"Thanks to Kenneth Lim and Vihaan Ramamurthy for their help on the touching video tribute." He added as he pounded his chest. Cheap air horn sound effects played as he did so.

Betty continued. "This year has been nothing short ofβ€”"

"Shit is crazy." Jason interrupted. "It's like insane."

"Jason." Betty glared.

"What?"

"No swearing."

He brushed it off. "It's the last day of school. We're good."

Betty sighed and finished what she was saying. "Historic."

She continued explaining. "Over five years ago, half of all life in the universe, including our own Midtown High, was wiped from existence. Then eight months ago, a band of brave heroes brought us back. They called it...The Blip."

Jason made a spooky gesture at the name. Betty rolled her eyes and kept speaking.

"Those of us who Blipped away came back the same age...but our classmates that didn't Blip had grown five years older."

"Yeah, like my little brother is now older than me." Jason added.

"Yeah, it's math." Betty replied and continued. "Even though we had Blipped away halfway through the school year and had already taken midterms, the school made us start the whole year over from the beginning."

"It's totally unfair." Jason said. "It's not right."

"Tigers, it's been a long, dramatic, somewhat confusing road. As we draw this year to a close, it's time to move on..." She glanced at Jason before continuing. "...to a new phase of our lives."

"Pray nothing crazy happens again because are the Avengers even a thing anymore?" Jason rose his voice. "Does anyone have a plan?"

"I have a plan." Peter said as he sat down at the desk with Y/N and Ned. The two friends listened to what he had to say.

"Okay, first, I'm gonna sit next to Gwen on the flight."

"Mmhmm." Y/N nodded.

"Second, I'm gonna buy a dual-headphone adapter and watch movies with her the whole time."

"Okay." Ned replied.

"Three, when we go to Veniceβ€”Venice is super famous for making stuff out of glass right?"

Ned nodded. "True."

"Whoa whoa. Wait." Y/N stopped him. "Please don't tell me you're gonna buy her some glass jewelry."

Peter shrugged. "It was on my mind."

"The idea is taken, bro." He glanced at Ned. "Didn't I tell you I was gonna get MJ a necklace there? One with a black dahlia because it's her favorite flower, because of theβ€”"

"The murder." Ned said in unison with Y/N.

Peter sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Fine, bullet point number three will have to be edited."

Y/N gave a thumbs-up as Peter let out a chuckle. He continued explaining his plan.

"Four, when we go to Paris, I'm going to take her to the top of the Eiffel Tower, give her the gift, and then five, tell her how I feel." He took a breath in. "Six, well, hopefully, she tells me she feels the same way."

"And then step seven..." Ned began. "We throw a celebration because you finally had the guts to admit your feelings."

Y/N chuckled as he pat the side of his friend's shoulder. Peter scoffed and shook his head.

"Yeah, yeah." He let out.

"We can finally double date." Y/N said. "And even triple date once Ned finds the one special lady."

"And special she will be." He replied. "I'm gonna take my time with that."

"CEO of Sex talking about patience?" Peter jested.

"It's a virtue." Ned said. "But look at you, man. Bottling these feelings since the beginning of Freshman year..."

"Yup." He sighed. "You could say getting turned to dust for five years changed my thought process."

Peter glanced at the door of the classroom, seeing Gwen and MJ coming in.

"They're coming. Don't say anything." He quickly said. The three boys sat in their seats and acted nonchalantly.

"What's up, dorks?" MJ greeted.

Y/N looked at her. "I thought that name was reserved for me?"

"You are a special kind of dork." She replied.

"Aww." He grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to the seat. "When am I able to have a pet name for you?"

She chuckled. "Never."

"You guys excited about the science trip?" Gwen asked them.

"Uh, yeah. We were just talking about it." Peter answered.

"Yeah, and Peter's plan." Ned added, which garnered a stare from the teenager.

"A plan?" Gwen asked.

"I don'tβ€”I don't have a plan." Peter said with a chuckle.

Ned tried to help out. "He's just gonna collect tiny spoons when we're traveling to other countries."

"Like uh...like a grandmother?" MJ replied.

Peter kept fiddling with the pen in his hands. "I'm not collecting tiny spoons." He gestured at Y/N. "He's collecting tiny spoons."

Y/N stared at Peter for a moment before going on with the lie. "Yup. Gotta branch out my...collecting habit."

"Basketball cards and vinyl figures weren't enough?" MJ asked with a smirk.

"Don't be so loud about that." Y/N looked around for a moment. "That Batman 89 figure is gonna be worth a lot when he comes out in the next Flash movie."

"Speaking of tiny silverware." Gwen said and brought out a clay teapot. "Look what I made for Anya in pottery."

She gave it to Peter, who held and looked at it with a smile on his face. Y/N also grinned and gave a nod.

"Wow. This is great, Gwen." Peter said. "She's going to love it."

Both Gwen and MJ have acquainted with the four-year-old, with Peter appreciating the blonde especially for taking time out of her day to do things such as that.

"Thanks a lot, Gwen." Y/N said. "Now she's gonna force us to attend her tea party."

After a brief laugh, MJ spoke to Peter and Ned.

"By the way, travel tip: You should download a VPN on your phone, so the government can't track you while we're abroad."

"Smart. Will do." Peter said, then looked at Y/N.

"She already downloaded it on my phone." He told them. "Like...a month ago when we first heard about this trip."

MJ smirked and planted a kiss on his cheek. Gwen waved at her friends before leaving with the brunette. "We'll see you guys later."

The girls left, leaving the trio at the desk. There was silence for a bit before Ned spoke.

"You've had tea parties? Why haven't I been invited?"

The boys left the class sometime later and walked down the hallway. Students crowded together, speaking with their friends and classmates.

"So, what are you going to do for your last day in New York?" Ned asked them. Their flight to Europe was going to be tomorrow.

"Nothing much. I actually got to show up tomorrow and speak with the counselors briefly about a class I want to take next year." Y/N replied. "Peter on the other hand actually has some errands to run." Y/N replied.

Peter agreed and started to list out his plans. "Yeah...I...uh...get mini toothpaste, pick up my passport...and then..." He hit Y/N on the shoulder. "Take down the Manfredi Crime Family."

"Oh, yeah. Right." Y/N said as he remembered.

"Cool." Ned replied. "Need any help? Like a guy in a chair sort of thing again?"

"No, I think we're fine." Peter said as he took out his phone. "You think Delmar's has a dual headphone adapter?"

"Delmar has everything, man." Y/N replied as they neared the exit. "You want me to join you on your to-do list trek?"

"Nah. Just go back home and tell May I'm running the errands." He replied.

"Alright." He said. "Then we meet up by the bridge?"

Peter nodded. They did their signature handshake with Ned also doing it as well. Peter bid farewell and left while Y/N and Ned went the other way.

SPIDER-MAN WAITED ON a rooftop looking over Roosevelt Island Bridge. By the water was a ship with men carrying crates off of it into the warehouse.

He heard the faint sound of thrusters and turned around to see Peter landing behind him. He retracted the faceplate of his armor and looked at Y/N, who took off his own mask.

Peter realized that his best friend had his regular red-and-blue Stark-issued suit instead of his Iron-Spider one.

"Forget to charge the suit?" He asked with a chuckle.

Y/N rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah. But it'll be cool to rock the OG threads for once."

"I told you to put it in the charging station last night." Peter said before looking out toward the shore. "How long have they been unloading?"

"For the last ten minutes since I got here."

"What do you think they're transporting?"

"This is the Maggia we're talking about. It could be anything from guns, drugs, frickin' rare pots and pans."

Peter scoffed. "Pots and pans. I'm sure."

Y/N shrugged and put his mask back on. "Let's crash the party, brother."

Peter nodded and reformed his helmet. Silver Centurion and Spider-Man leaped off the rooftop and traveled to the port where the gangsters were.

Immediately, a couple of the gang members looked up after hearing the sound of thrusters and thwiping. Before they can react, one was blasted away by Peter's repulsor and the other was webbed to the wall by Y/N. The rest were alerted.

"Get the cars out of here!" One man exclaimed.

Spider-Man leaped onto the shoulders of the man who yelled and brought him to the floor. A gangster nearby aimed his pistol at the web-slinger, but Y/N quickly zipped to him and landed a straight kick to his face.

Peter engaged a gang member using hand to hand and he dealt with him pretty easily thanks to training from the late Tony Stark, who was an expert in Wing Chun. Once he took down the man, another came up and shot his machine pistol.

The bullets simply ricocheted off the armor and Peter looked at the gangster.

"You guys don't understand the concept of the armor?" He quipped before aiming his repulsor and incapacitating the gangster.

Y/N on the other hand had to make sure not to get shot since he didn't have his Iron-Spider suit this time. He dodged and jumped every time a gangster shot at him. Still, he was able to take down the gunmen with ease.

A group of mob members entered two separate cars and started driving out of the port. They split up and went different ways.

"They're getting away!" Peter exclaimed.

"Bad news for those idiots...there's two cars and there's two of us." Y/N said.

Peter nodded. "I'll take the one going down 36th. You go after the dudes taking Vernon Boulevard."

He quickly ascended and flew out of the port. Y/N left as well, swinging down Vernon Boulevard and keeping his eye on the fleeing vehicle.

One gangster leaned out of the window and shot at Spider-Man.

"Whoa!" Y/N exclaimed as he dodged the gunfire and continued swinging. "All that for some rare cookware?"

He kept chasing after the car. It made a sudden left at an intersection, unfortunately causing another driver to swerve. It was speeding toward an outside patio seating in front of a restaurant, and Y/N had to make sure nobody got hurt.

Y/N zipped toward the scene and shot a web at the back of the car. He landed and planted his feet on the road, using his strength to pull back the vehicle. His soles dragged against the tarmac for a bit, but he was able to successfully stop the car and save both the driver and the restaurant guests.

"You okay?" Y/N asked the driver through the glass, who gave a thumbs-up as he panted in fear. The web-slinger also looked at the people on the patio. "Y'all good? Good."

Spider-Man quickly waved and jumped up, commencing his swinging again to go after the Manfredi gangsters. He continued down the road but saw their car stopped on the street...empty.

He landed beside it and looked at the front of the car, seeing that two tires were webbed up. He rose a brow beneath his mask. Did he do that?

Y/N looked back and saw pedestrians looking into an alley. He walked up to see what they were murmuring about, and upon looking into it saw what it was.

The four mobsters were webbed to the wall. The crates containing their goods were also secured beneath them. Y/N was sure he didn't do this...or was he going crazy?

His senses tingled faintly and he looked up to see a head peeking over the rooftop ledge, looking down into the alley. They stepped back but Y/N was going to see who it was. The web-slinger leaped onto the wall and crawled up to the rooftop.

Upon reaching it, he looked around and saw no sign of anybody.

"Okay..." He called out. "I know you're out there somewhere. If you're some alternate version of me or clone of some kind...just come out and I promise I won't freak out."

There was no response, but he felt the tingling again. It grew stronger as he gazed at the roof vent and he had an inkling the person was behind it. He didn't need to look though, as they slowly came out and revealed themselves.

"Uh...hi." The young lady said.

She had long charcoal hair and a mask covering the bottom half of her face. But the material was web-like, along with the rest of her outerwear. A part of Y/N's mind wondered if she had anything under all that.

"Um..." Y/N swallowed. "Hi?"

There was silence for a moment as they looked at each other. Y/N decided to speak again.

"Well...first off, good work down there. I was afraid I lost them."

"They weren't going to get far." She replied.

"I know you made sure of that." He said. "Now with the compliments out of the way...it's time for the real questions."

"I'm not a clone of you." She abruptly said, and before he can respond she clarified again, "Or an alternate version of you."

"Cool." Y/N replied. "Cool..."

"But you're probably still confused." She said.

"Oh, yeah. Definitely. This whole time I thought was the only person who can shoot webs."

She sighed. "I've been able to...since freshman year of high school."

"Whoa." Y/N said in awe. "That's...very relatable. How come I've never heard or seen you until now?"

She shrugged, looking down and walking closer. "I just decided to come out now."

"I'd ask who you are, but with your whole mask thing...I feel like it'd be stupid." He said.

"I thought you'd know with your whole anonymity."

He chuckled and walked over to the edge, looking down at webbed goons and pedestrians phoning the police. The woman joined him, and the tingling he was feeling earlier seemed to have gotten stronger...and she was sensing it too.

"It's nice to get these assholes off the street." He glanced at the woman. "Again...uh...thank you."

She simply nodded and the two just stood there. Every second that passed the feeling got stronger and their bodies seemed to get hotter. It was very weird.

"Thank you." He said again, trying to muster words to shake off the feelings. He cleared his throat. "Thank you, thank you. Will this be a recurring thing?"

"Close your eyes." She abruptly said.

"What?"

"Close. Your. Eyes."

He didn't question her again and did as told. The young lady immediately lowered her mask and lifted his, and their lips met soon after.

Y/N still had his eyes closed. He could've pushed her away, he was already taken after all, but his instincts kept him from doing so. Their kiss became more feverish and intense as if they somehow longed for such an embrace.

Spider-Man pinned her to the wall nearby, their lips still joined together. He ran his hands along her waist and he would've ripped the web-like outerwear off of her, but he stopped himself before he could. He still had his eyes closed as their lips parted, and he lowered his head.

"What am I doing?" He muttered.

He stepped away. The woman lifted her mask back up as Y/N lowered his. Their faces were fully hidden once again.

"I'm sorry." She apologized.

"It's..." He breathed out. "It's okay."

"You felt it too, right?"Β  She asked.

He understood exactly what she meant. He nodded. "Yeah."

Y/N felt guilty for betraying MJ like that, even though it seemed like their instincts had a big part in it. The lady felt the same way, as she was involved with someone else too.

The young man still had his back turned, looking out inside the skyline. He let out a sigh.

"Let's just forget this happened. And maybe...uh...we should keep some distanceβ€”"

He turned around and stopped talking upon realizing that the woman wasn't there anymore. He looked around for a bit before letting out an exhale. After such a weird encounter, Y/N leaped off the rooftop and swung away.

PETER REUNITED WITH Y/N after they busted the Manfredi Family mobsters. He told his friend about his encounter with the new spiderling, obviously omitting some other details of their encounter, and Peter was pretty taken back at the revelation of a new spider person.

It was the next day and Y/N went back to Midtown in the morning to speak with the counselors before getting ready for his flight.

He spoke with them in a room joined by a few other fellow classmates. During their discussion, Y/N kept feeling some type of sensation throughout his body and his senses tingled similarly to yesterday. Still, he kept his attention on the counselors.

After their meeting, Y/N, being the nice guy he is, volunteered to put the seats back in the storage. The lone counselor grabbed his stuff and looked at the teenager.

"Close the door when you're down, Mr. L/N. Don't worry about it being unlocked. The janitor will make sure to lock it."

"All right." He said.

"Have a nice trip." The counselor said. She was about to leave but ran into a student who was at the meeting earlier.

"Miss Moon."

"Mrs. Wagner." She replied. "I'm sorry, I think I forgot my headphones."

"Oh, okay. They should be in here." She said, then bid farewell again and left.

"Hey, Cindy." Y/N greeted with a simple glance toward her before picking up a chair. "I just started putting things away so your headphones should be where you left them."

"Cool."

She walked toward the desk she sat at, seeing the headphones she dropped under the seat. She picked it up, and at the exact same time, Y/N walked passed her to get another chair.

Immediately, a hot sensation engulfed Y/N, just like the day before. He stopped in his tracks and swallowed, then turned to Cindy. She gave him a similar confused look.

"You...uh...you found them?" He asked after clearing his throat.

She nodded, also swallowing. "Yup."

Y/N looked at the chair behind her. "I should...I should put that away."

She nodded and Y/N went to grab the chair. Cindy moved aside, but before he can pick up the seat he turned to the Korean lady.

They stood there for what seemed to be an eternity. Then immediately, Cindy grabbed his head and pulled him in for a kiss.

Y/N moved his hands from her neck to her backside and lifted her onto the nearby desk. They felt like blowing off some steam right there in the classroom...they were alone after all.

But that same feeling from yesterday overcame the one of lust. A feeling of guilt. Y/N pulled away just like the day before and looked at Cindy, the two panting from their embrace.

At that moment they realized who they were.

"You're...you're that girl." Y/N began and backed away. "From the rooftop."

Cindy still sat on the desk. "...and you're Spider-Man."

Y/N turned around and rubbed his face with both hands. The revelation of Cindy Moon being another spider-powered being was a lot, along with the teenager feeling confusion about why their urges were so strong.

"Okay...I don't even know what to ask about first..." Y/N said. "About how you got your powers or–"

"Or why we want to copulate every time we're near each other?" She interjected.

Y/N nodded and placed his hands on his waist. "Yeah...that too."

Cindy swallowed and got off the desk. She picked up the headphones she had dropped again and stuffed them in her pocket.

"I should go. Um, we'll talk about it another day."

"Uh...okay. Preferably by phone or..." Y/N paused and realized something, they were going on the same trip. "Later today."

Cindy didn't respond and walked out of the room. Y/N stood there and sighed, hands still on his waist and looking down.

He recalled his two encounters with Cindy Moon. The teenager kept telling himself that they didn't mean anything and that it was just their weird supposed spider-urges. His heart was always going to go to MJ.

Y/N felt his jeans getting tighter and he looked down, noticing his excitement from earlier. He shook his head and rubbed his temples.

"This trip is going to suck."
