part one of seven summary : jisoo has to go back in time to convince 7 boys to not give up on their dreams before it's too late
ship: none . . . maybe
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
" I really hope I beamed myself to the right place this time."
Jisoo, 30 years old, married and expecting was from the far future. Where time travel became a thing.
Cool, right? Not always.
Before, it was Russian roulette. No one knew where they would be going. But after two more years of advance technology, they finally created a time watch where people can pick which time period they wanted to go.
Unfortunately, destinations were wonky still.
Which brings us to Jisoo's mission. In the future, there were. . . . Complications within the group.
With age, everyone felt like they've out grown the group. Everyone wanted to do their own thing. Which isn't bad at all.
What was bad was that, something or someone in their past changed the decisions that they made that lead them into being BTS. And because of that, each boy started fading.
Memories of the group started fading, merch and other items started disappearing and no one remembered BTS. Not even the members themselves.
Jisoo, Mr. Bang and some other BigHit staff members were the only ones who remembered them. They figured that if they go back in time to fix it, everything would be okay.
If anyone were to go back, it should be Jisoo.
And that's where we are now.
The year was 2010. Okay, right date. Jisoo looked behind her and saw the old design of the Bighit building. The nostalgia was very real.
"Long time, no see. . ." She whispered, smiling softly before quickly running into the entrance.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Okay, seriously, how hard is it to find a behemoth?" She mumbled, walking through the halls. Around this time, RM was in the beginning stages of his trainee life.
Most likely debating on being in a group or staying solo.
Which meant that Yoongi was already a trainee. She could be wrong.
"I don't remember this building being this bi-"
"Oh!"
Suddenly, a door to a recording studio swung open and almost smacked her on the nose. Yelping, Jisoo pushed the door before it could hit her in the face.
"Oh, I'm sorry, miss." A familiar voice apologized to her.
Jisoo looked up and saw young and 17 year old Kim Namjoon standing there, looking down at her.
Wow, she really does stay short forever, huh?
"Its alright." She brushed off, before looking at her watch.
She was on a bit of a time limit on each time line she travels to and only has time to try and talk some sense into them.
"Just the person I wanna see, actually!" Jisoo exclaimed, shoving him into the studio. "We have a lot to cover and I don't have much time."
"W-what are you doing?!" Namjoon asked, shocked that a very attractive woman just shoved him back into the studio.
His face turned red when she began to lock the door behind him.
"What's going on? Who are you?!"
Jisoo turned to him with pursed lips. "Kim Namjoon. . .I have to talk to you about your future."
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Wait, so let me get this straight. . . . . In 6 years from now, I become a global star?"
"Hard to believe, huh?"
The first five minutes, Jisoo spent it on explaining everything that happens up to 2019.
"And you're a time traveler?"
"Yup."
Namjoon looked at her like she was on crack. Whatever drug she was on, had to work too well for her to actually believe that time travel was real. There was no way.
Yoongi could be pulling a prank on him right now. Yeah, a prank.
"How do I know you are really from the future?"
"Your fans will never let you live down the fact that you recorded a cover of two very adult songs."
Namjoon paused. How did she know about Expensive Girl? He didn't show it to anyone. Wait, 2 covers?!
"Wait a minute. . . .2 covers? What's the other one?"
"That's not important right now!" Jisoo exclaimed. "Right now, I'm helping you make a decision that will change your life forever. And for the good.
"Look, it might not seem like it at first. You will have people who will look down on you, try to sabotage you and there will be days where you would feel like you want to give up. But I promise you, it will all be worth the hard work. People will be screaming your name, you will sell out stadiums, appear in American award shows. Even become a very sought after bachelor. But most importantly, you will have a huge fandom who will love you and who will be willing to lay down their armor for you. Almost like an Army."
Wow. . . .the way she described it sounded like something he had dreamed of every day and night. Everything she was describing was everything he had ever wanted.
The recognition, the love, the passion.
"Tell me this," Namjoin spoke up. "If what you say is true, will I be able to finally say that I've made it? Will I prove to everyone that I am more than what they see?"
Jisoo smiled, taking his hand. Namjoon noticed the wedding ring on her dainty finger. It was purple, surrounded by little white diamonds. The purple diamond was heart shaped.
For some reason, looking at that ring made his heart swell up a little in pride. Like he was happy for her. Which would be weird, considering he had just met this lady.
"The world will see that you are more than just Kim Namjoon and more than just Rap Monster." She promised. "In fact, even if you have multiple sides to you, your fans will love each and every one of your identities because Kim Namjoon showed them what a true leader is."
Namjoon smiled softly at her. Her words seemed honest and warm. Like he couldn't detect a lie. It was like she knew him in his future.
Which made him curious.
"Do I know you in my future?"
Jisoo looked down at her ring, fiddling it a little. Oh boy, does he know me.
"I don't have that much time to talk about that but I can say that you have helped me in so many ways that I will never be able to forget." She said. "That's why I'm here. Because not only did you save lives of many, you saved mine in more ways than one."
Hearing a beeping noise, Jisoo looked down at her watch. Her time in this time zone was about to be up. Meaning she would be transported to a different time.
"What's going on?" Namjoon asked.
Jisoo immediately stood up. "I have to go."
"What?! Why?" Namjoon asked standing up. "Will I ever see you again?"
Jisoo just flashed him a smile. The kind where her eyes smiled as well and her small dimples showed.
"I trust you will make the right decision." She said as light surrounded her. "I know you'll make it right. See you in the future, oppa!"
Namjoon watched as she completely disappeared in front of him. But as shocked as he was, did she just call him oppa?!
"What just happened?" He mumbled, her words running through his head as he began to exit the studio.
What did she mean when she said I had different sides of me? It has been a rather strange day.
As he was walking and thinking, he wasn't much aware of his surroundings when he bumped into a small figure. A really small figure.
He looked down to see a very short person with super long black hair and dressed in baggy clothes. The kid looked up at him as if he was a giant.
"Oh, sorry." He apologized before chuckling. "You're so tiny, I almost didn't see you there."
The kid bowed quickly before speed walking passed from him. That kid seemed very shy yet so precious.
"That had to be the cutest, smallest kid I ever seen." He smiled to himself as he continued on with his weird day.
Not knowing that kid would be someone who will become so important to him in his life.
