Razer's Point of View:

ʟᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: ᴏᴅʏᴍ

"Take a deep breath," Saint Walker begins calmly, "focus on the calmness of the lake, clear your mind of all emotion." I made a conscious effort to focus on my breathing, closing my eyes and relaxing my body as I tried to clear my mind, just as Saint Walker had advised. However, I was abruptly interrupted by a buzzing sound which turned out to be a gnat.

I immediately abandoned my meditation and moved quickly to swat the insect away, "You blood-sucking gnat! I'll stomp you to the ground!" I sneered angrily and was about to crush it with my foot when Brother Warth stopped me.

"Razer, you have to be willing to live with nature." I glared at him for interfering, but listened anyway, "No matter how small." "Easy for you to say, Brother Warth!" I shouted angrily.

Saint Walker hovers behind me, "Try again." He tells me, "And focus on hope."

"Hope for what?" I ask out of frustration.

Brother Warth answers, "Hope for the future. Hope for peace. Hope for love."

Suddenly, the ground beneath us begins to rumble and a giant worm-like creature emerges from the surface, "Whoa!" I jumped away as a giant worm roared at me but I knew better and used my red power ring only to forget that Odym doesn't allow Red Lanterns,' Curse it' I thought, "I can't use my powers while I'm near your Blue rings."

Realizing that the creature was hostile I began to run, as it chased behind me. I was then cornered by it, ready to be eaten until Saint Walker played music from his lute, soothing the creature: "So you're the one digging all the tunnels and caves here."

"Be careful." I tried to warn Saint Walker, "That thing just tried to kill me."

He simply noted while petting the giant worm: "More likely, he was trying to play with you."

I instantly glare at his smug grin, as he continues to pet the creature and continues: "You judge too quickly, Razer. Everyone and everything deserves love." Saint Walker sends the creature off chasing a construct ball.

"Says the man playing fetch with a giant worm." I sarcastically spoke.

The group brings our attention to the skies where the Interceptor roars through the air. I stared in shock, "Cassandra." My heart began pounding at the thought of her as I realized the figure piloting the Interceptor was none other than Cassandra.

Memories flooded back, filling my mind with longing. I had felt saddened since I'd left her, and the warmth started spreading around my heart again as I watched the sleek ship glide smoothly through the sky.

My thoughts raced back to the times we spent together, her laughter dancing through the air like a melody as vibrant, more vibrant

"Do you wish to see her, Razer?" Saint Walker's voice cut through my thoughts.

‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗

"Jordan, what's with the pit stop? Shouldn't we be taking care of our little Manhunter situation?" Kilowog started.

Hal Jordan nods, "I know, I know, but there's an old friend here who can seriously help out on our mission." He continues, "Plus, it would be a great opportunity for Cassie to learn the oath she needs to recite to recharge her power ring, right Cassie?"

"Yeah, I can't wait to find out!" Cassandra squeals excitedly, while Kia glances around in awe, "This feels like Blueberry Village from a game I used to play, but with small cabins."

The girls shared their excitement, telling Aya about it until they were interrupted by a familiar face, making them and Kilowog gasp in shock, "Ganthet?" Hal walks towards Ganthet and smiles at him: "Nice duds." He begins, "So this is where you came after the Guardians kicked you off of Oa."

"Yes." Ganthet held a warm expression, "I realized that there's another path by which I might serve the universe. I came to Odym to start the Blue Lantern Corps." Kia noticed Saint Walker and blushed, prompting Cassandra to grin and tease her, earning a playful glare in return. Saint Walker, noticing this, winked at Kia from afar.

Kia shuffled her feet, a mix of embarrassment and excitement swirling within her because this is the first time she was meeting Saint Walker face to face.  But then immediately realizes something, her best friend Cassandra was a blue lantern as well, "Wait? So your Ganthet?"

"=Yes, I am.="

"Wow, Cassie was right, you do look like Smurf!" In an instant, Cassie felt an urge to jump into a dark hole and end her life. However, Ganthet widened his eyes and softly chuckled, "=I thank you for the nice compliment from such beautiful lanterns."

He then turned to introduce the blue lanterns, "This is Saint Walker.="

"Moonface! Ha ha! Good to see you again, buddy." Kilowog walks up to Saint Walker and embraces him tightly before letting him go with an arm over his shoulder, "This is the guy I was telling you about. The one that helped me defeat the Red Lantern armada, remember?"

"How can I forget?" Hal Jordan smiled.

Cassie then immediately waves at him, "Hi, Saint Walker!" "Hello, sister. It is nice to see you reunite with the blue lanterns again." Saint Walker glances at Kia, "I see you brought a new friend." Kia was too late to transform into her green lantern suit since it had sunglasses to cover her cheeks as they were flushed, and she stammered, "Uh, hi! I'm Kia. It's amazing to meet you!"

She fidgeted with her power ring, nervousness bubbling in her stomach. Saint Walker's calm demeanor reassured her, and she admired his gentle aura as he approached. Lifting her hand to his lips, he kissed it softly and said, "Pleasure to meet you, Kia Roberts."

"Just Kia." Kia quietly tells him, making Saint Walker playfully grin even further at her, only for Cassandra to motion him away which he respected; Before walking back to standing next to Kilowog and Ganthet who nodded approvingly, "=Of course, you all know that Cassandra is our second Blue Lantern?="

The human brown-haired girl smiled proudly at that comment, by showing her blue lantern ring to the others: "Congratulations, Sister." "Indeed." Both Brother Wrath and Saint Walker congratulate her on becoming part of the Blue Lantern Corps. Everyone smiled back at her: "=And this is our third Blue Lantern, Brother Warth.="

Brother Wrath was an alien elephant wearing a Blue Lantern suit, who was still floating in his meditation pose and placed both his hands together with a small bow of namaste. The reunion was cut short when Razer joined the assembled group—only to be met by his friends, especially Cassandra.

And time froze.

(Cassandra's POV):

From the moment our eyes met, I felt like I had to move, but my body felt frozen, and I could hear my heart pounding so fast I thought it might burst from my chest. I finally mustered up the courage to walk in Razer's direction. "Razer," I began, my throat feeling dry, but I kept going, despite my voice lacking any energy to say anything. "What an unexpected turn of events!"

Razer didn't say anything else, other than looking me up and down for a moment before he said, "You've cut your hair?" I was surprised by how simple his observation was, and the impact those words had on the atmosphere between us.

I thought he'd notice my blue lantern ring, but I was wrong. Now I could feel my cheeks warm and butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

"Y-Yeah, I thought it was time for a change of style," I replied, trying to keep my tone light even though every syllable felt heavy with unspoken emotions.

His gaze didn't falter one bit.

His icy blue eyes seemed to pierce through the facade I was trying to maintain: "It suits you," he said, and a hint of a smile played on his lips.

It was almost imperceptible, but it sent my heart racing again.

I want to tell him about everything about what I feel for him. Our last conversation was after he gave me the necklace at my belated birthday party on Earth. I still wore it without taking it off, even though I wanted to tell Razer something to break this long silence between us.

But I couldn't find the words.

"Thanks," That's all I can say, focusing on the softness of his tone as if each word was connected to the bond we once had. Biting my lip, feeling the familiar ache of sympathy for him. We both knew too well the challenges that had gotten in our way, each of us carving our paths, only to find ourselves back where it all began.

'What even do I say to him? It's been like, I don't know, since we last saw each other, but...' I thought but then scratched the side of my cheek out of nervousness, "I missed you, y'know..." He blinks and listens, "L-Like a-alot, and I wasn't expecting to see you here, but I'm not complaining. It's just—"

Razer interrupted, saying, "Cassandra..."

"Y-Yes?" I asked nervously, our eyes still connected, but he seemed almost hesitant as if he were testing the waters between us. I held my breath, bracing myself for the weight of his words, knowing they could tip the balance of everything that lay between us:

"I missed you too." And just like that, the words he just said left me speechless that I didn't even know that I had jumped into his arms and hugged him. At first, it shocked Razer but he slowly returned the gesture and hugged back, we let go of each other; Being in our own little world together.

The moment hung between us, heavy yet sweet, like the lingering scent of rain on the pavement. I pulled away slightly, just enough to catch his gaze, searching for something—maybe reassurance, maybe an answer to questions I hadn't dared to ask.

Razer's eyes sparkled with the depth of galaxies, emotions swirling just beneath the surface. The warmth between us was palpable, each heartbeat echoing our unspoken connection.

When I let go, a shiver ran down my spine as the warmth faded, a missing piece of myself, and I smiled softly at him. "So did I." I paused but then I asked, "So, you gonna tell me that this was your plan to come here after you left?"

"I didn't exactly have a plan in mind when I left." Razer hesitantly responded as he took a step closer, and I caught a hint of the scent that clung to him—something earthy and wild that drew me in like a magnet.

Before I could ask more, Kilowog comes in to ruin the moment: "So this is where you ran off to." He interrupts, making us distance a bit from each other, "Who would have thought?"

"Of course, It's pleasant to see you all." Razer politely greets everyone, "Even you."

Kia chimes in from Cassandra's back, "Looks like Razer." "Definitely smells like Razer." Kilowog proceeds to comment on Razer's awkward kindness, not long before crossing his muscular arms over his armored chest: "But you ain't acting like Razer. What have you done with the angry guy?"

"Hopefully destroyed him." Razer explained, "The old Razer was responsible for great evil. I came to Odym to ask the Blue Lanterns for help. Since their power negates my own, I thought this would be a good place to become someone else, someone less...angry."

My uncle smiles warmly at us and gently places a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "That's great, kid. And it's good to see you too!" A gesture that encourages Aya to give him a polite smile as Ganthet, with calm authority, begins to address us all, engaging our attention and instilling a sense of anticipation for what he is about to share.

"=So Hal Jordan," he asked, "=what was this matter of business you wish to discuss?=" "We have a problem I was hoping you could shed some light on." Ganthet nods before following my uncle and Kilowog inside the Interceptor.

I seize the moment to surprise Razer. "Hey Razer," I call out, drawing his attention as he turns to me while Kia and Aya chat with Saint Walker and Brother Warth about something lighthearted, "Do you remember I was trying to contact my Uncle while being chained by Drussa in Oa?"

"Yes?" He raised an eyebrow at me in confusion.

"Have you ever wondered how I managed to do it quietly?" This made Razer ponder how she managed to do that without Atrocitus, his expression shifting from confusion to intrigue. After a moment's deliberation, he finally shook his head, "No, I never really thought about it. How did you manage to do that?"

I grinned, "Well, you see..." Lifting my right hand to show my blue power ring to him, and immediately transformed myself into my blue lantern bodysuit that showcased a black, with white accents on the shoulders, arms, and sides, a hood over her head blending into a scarf-like collar wrapped around the neck.

At the center of the chest, was a Blue Lantern Corps emblem. Finally, glowing blue Accents were placed on her lower legs and gloves, along with my power ring to go with it: "TA-DA!"

Razer was taken aback.

"You became a Blue Lantern?" His voice was barely audible, and I couldn't help but laugh at the look of awe on his face. It was a nice change to see Razer, who usually looks so calm and in control, staring at me with his eyes wide open.

"Yup," I replied, still feeling proud. "I figured if I was going to jump in and help, I might as well be ready!" I struck a playful pose, half-joking to lighten the heavy atmosphere.

Razer's expression became serious, "I see you've become one of them..." He coldly responded, which stopped me from admiring the blue glow on my suit, and began to say: "It's more than just a symbol or the color, you know." I continue, "It represents hope."

"Hope..." he said as he looked thoughtful for a moment, but ignored it, "It is not something I've ever thought about much, Cassandra. It's tough to grasp something I've never truly believed in."

"You're not that guy anymore, Razer. You said it yourself," I moved closer, the weight of the moment pulling us together like an invisible magnet. "You're here, talking to me, trying to change. That shows there IS hope. It's a choice, and I believe you can choose to see the world differently."

He looked down for a moment, and I could see the internal struggle playing out in his eyes—the tug-of-war between his past and the potential of his present, "What's the point of letting that rage get the better of me again? What then?" I put my hand over his forearm, feeling the warmth of his skin through his suit.

"Then you get back up. And you keep trying." I tell him with determination, "Just like I am. And you won't be alone this time." The last part came out almost as a whisper, like a hopeful promise hanging between us.

I could see in his eyes that he was thinking about what I'd said. "Do you really think I can do it?"

"Without a doubt." I softly replied. At that moment, Kilowog's voice boomed over our conversation, "Hey, have you two lovebirds finished? Ganthet's about to show us something big!"

I felt my cheeks heat up at Kilowog's teasing tone. Razer's expression changed slightly, going from vulnerable to more guarded, but there was still a spark of the connection we'd found.

"We should join them," I said, noticing the sudden change in energy around us, trying to redirect the conversation into a more casual tone.

He gave a nod, but I could tell he was still mulling something over. Then I noticed he was still standing there instead of following, which left me a bit confused and bothered, so I went down to ask him what was going on. "Why aren't you joining in like the others, Razer?" "I can't use my power ring, let alone fly, because of the blue power ring."

"So, you need someone to carry you?" I raise an eyebrow at him, surprised.

Razer turned away without saying anything other than a nod, which seemed to indicate that the answer was yes.

"Oh..."

When I glanced back at the others, who were busy chatting and gradually following Ganthet somewhere else, it seemed like I was the only one lingering with him. All of a sudden, I felt the weight of the moment like a wave.

"Well, I guess it can't be helped," I said. Razer blinked when I stepped forward, I gently wrapped my shoulder under his arm to properly lift him, and began carrying him bridal style, but I couldn't help the playful grin stretching across my face. His expression changed in an instant.

His eyes widened in surprise, and I could almost see the gears turning in his head, "What are you doing?" he asked, sounding a bit embarrassed and surprised. "I'm just giving you a lift since you need one!" I replied cheerfully, trying to make the situation more lighthearted.

I felt the warmth from his body against me, which was a stark contrast to the coolness of the air around us. I got a thrill from being so close to him and glanced over to see that Razer's face was flushed even deeper than before. I had to hold back a laugh at the sight.

"I can walk!" he protested, trying to squirm out of my hold.

"Not while your power ring is out, you can't," I countered, "Think of it as my way of helping."

Razer growls, "You can help me by putting me down!"

"And leave you behind? No way!" I continued before adjusting him in my hold to make sure he was comfortable, even though he was reluctant to get out of my arms, Razer didn't want to admit that he seemed to like it: "But it's not—"

He stopped midway when I tilted my head, waiting for him to continue complaining about me carrying him with a serious expression. He shut his mouth and turned away to face ahead.

"Shut it," Razer hissed.

I giggled in victory, "That's what I thought."

As soon as we followed and caught up with Ganthet and the others, I gasped in amazement at the Blue Lantern Central Power Battery: "Wow/Damn!/That's huge!" We (the human trio) stared before we all landed safely on the ground and watched Ganthet explain, "=You've come at an opportune time, as this is the day the battery becomes fully operational.="

He lifts his hands in the air and began reciting:

" '=𝕀𝕟 𝕗𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕗𝕦𝕝 𝕕𝕒𝕪,

𝕚𝕟 𝕣𝕒𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕟𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥,

𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕤𝕥𝕣𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕥𝕤 𝕗𝕦𝕝𝕝, 𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕤𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕤 𝕚𝕘𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕖.

𝕎𝕙𝕖𝕟 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕤𝕖𝕖𝕞𝕤 𝕝𝕠𝕤𝕥 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕨𝕒𝕣 𝕠𝕗 𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥,

𝕝𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕣𝕤,

𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕙𝕠𝕡𝕖 𝕓𝕦𝕣𝕟𝕤 𝕓𝕣𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥.=' "

Once it was activated, which I observed. Everyone began to be supercharged by the unexpected blue energy coming from the Battery that Kia's first reaction was, "Whoa! Now I know what an extreme charger does to a cell phone!" She's happy to comment, and I laugh before I agree with her when I turn around to see Aya, who's also supercharged by the Blue Central Battery:

"My higher functions are now operating at optimal levels," Aya stated.

Kilowog happily grunts at the energy flowing around him, "Just like the Maelstrom battle." He continues, "My ring isn't just charged, it's supercharged." "This is exactly what we're looking for!" My Uncle exclaimed, "With the Blue Lanterns on our side, we can get rid of this Manhunter mess pronto."

All of a sudden, something shoots us and we all end up getting slammed to the wall while grunting and groaning: "Everyone ok?"

"ℕ𝕆 𝕄𝔸ℕ 𝔼𝕊ℂ𝔸ℙ𝔼𝕊 𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝕄𝔸ℕℍ𝕌ℕ𝕋𝔼ℝ𝕊."
