Shiku put on an apron, tieing it at the back. "So what's first RinRin?"

Rin pretty much had the whole recipe memorised. They used to make them with Her mama as kids all the time so it was easy to remember... for him.

"You need to measure out everything first."

She grabbed a bowl, whisk and scale... "what are the ingredients again." She looked at her phone with a sheepish grin while he just face palmed.

"You need flower, eggs, milk and sugar." She grabbed everything he listed out of cupboards, draws and off the counter.

"How much do I need for like 2?" She placed the bowl on the scale, resetting it so the bowl isn't added to the total weight.

"Around 175g to 180g." He watched her poor the flower into the bowl, getting it around 177g.

"What's after that?"

"You need to use three eggs." He started to crack the eggs... did I mention she can't crack eggs? She cracked it a little, expecting it to crack open perfectly like on cooking shows. Instead it cracked and made a mess on the counter.

"I think I messed up..."

"That's alright, just get another egg and try to crack it properly this time." She cleaned up the mess and got the egg in the bow, with no egg shells. Then the other two, getting the smallest egg shell into the bowl of flour. She just left it there though, it was microscopic anyways.

"What's after that?" She cleaned her hands in the sink, she had gotten some of the raw egg on her hands and didn't like the feel of it, plus you should stay sanitary in the kitchen.

"Then you need around 450ml of milk."

"On it!" She took the bowl that was filled with flower and eggs and placed it on the counter. She then placed another bowl onto the scale, repeating the same process. She now has 449ml of milk and could not be bothered to make it 450ml.

"Then add half of it to the bowl." And she did just that, looking at her phone again for the next instruction. "Then add a little sugar, and I mean a little." She added 2 pinches of sugar, just enough to make it sweet but not too sweet it was sickly to eat. "Whisk it next till its smooth."

She did this, not being too aggressive but not being too soft on it. After it was smooth she had to wait for around 5 minutes so it wasn't overworked (she wanted a break). She decided to talk to Rin in that time. "How's blue lock going RinRin?"

"It's okay, all the people here are stupid though." He scrunched up his face in disgust.

"How stupid? Like me stupid or 'how do you know the earth is round?' Stupid?"

"Stupider than the second one." She stared at him in shock. How can people be that stupid? That's like saying you own a mansion but work at 7-11.

"How-? What-? Is that even possible?" She put her hand on her chin, trying to figure out how someone could be born with no brain cells.

"They're all just lukewarm."

"What did we say about the L word." She narrowed her eyes at him, a creepy smile shown across her face. She never liked the word 'lukewarm', it always reminded her about how Sae hurt Rin. Making her want to throw stuff.

"Sorry.."

"Good, they should be done by now." I grabbed the bowl, placing it next to the oven. She continued, taking out a pan and placing it on the stove. She then grabbed some sunflower oil and pouring some onto the pan. She was good at the flipping part, the only part she was good at.

She poured the batter into the pan after turning on the stove. She stood there with Rin on the phone, just making sure she didn't burn down the apartment complex. After she had done flipping the crepes she put them onto a plate. She to have some strawberries and ice cream with them too.

After she had finished it looked good, which normally her cooking looks like dog shit. "Look RinRin! I didn't burn down the house!"

"I'm proud of you." Praise. She greedy for it. Always wanting validation from others that matter to her. And Rin definitely does.

"Well I'm going to watch some Netflix and eat so bye bye now."

"Bye." She hung up the phone and had the urge to hit her head against the table. She wasn't going to of course, but she did end up watching Netflix and eating.

Just him being there made her have the motivation to do shit. Call her a simp, she is, so is he.

She ended up putting on 'your name' because yes. She ate and fell asleep on the couch so her mum had to clean up her mess in the kitchen... she did leave a crepe out for her mum though.

Note: I didn't plan on writing an 1000 word chapter today but I got hungry for crepes at 4:37. Having motivation to write this after I started it on October the 7th is the best, let's just hope it stays that way.
