BECKETT HOUSE

The next day, I gently walks down the stairs and into the living room. My Mom is in the kitchen, making some pancakes.

"Hey, Mom." I greeted her with a small smile, slowly walks up to the kitchen countertop.

"Hey, Catty. How have you seen your father? He didn't come home last night?" My Mom asked.

"Not really." I said.

A gentle knock is on the door. My Mom and I exchange looks at each other.

I walks over to the door and opens it. No one is there, but a Manila envelope attached to the door.

I detach the Manila envelope and closes the door.

"Catty?" My Mom said.

"There's a Manila envelope." I tell her. I open the Manila envelope and takes out a VHS.

"That's a VHS." My Mom said.

My Mom and I exchange looks at each other. I insert the VHS into the VCR.

My Mom presses the "Play" button on the remote.

On the VHS, my Dad is bruised up and sitting in a chair, duct-taped to it.

"Oh my gosh, Dad." I said, worried.

"Catty Beckett. If you are watching this VHS, I'm gonna kill your father and cause you unbearable suffering." Jade Ester said to the camera. "I told you I was coming after you."

And the VHS ends and ejects itself.

"Did you notice the background?" I ask my Mom.

"Yeah." My Mom said. "An abandoned warehouse."

"We'll take my car." My Mom said.

ABANDONED WAREHOUSE

My Mom and I arrived at the warehouse and we scurry into the warehouse.

But my Mom and I don't see my Dad. Just an empty chair and my Dad's phone.

"Jade is toying with us." I said to my Mom.

My Mom and I looks at a projector, which turns on. A video appears on the wall with Jade laughing maniacally.

"Did you really think that I would keep your Sheriff Dad where you are?" Jade said. "The thing is, I suspected that your Mom is a Special Agent and you have your amateur detective skills."

"Where is my Dad you friggin sociopathic bitch?!" I exclaimed.

"He's alive and buried in the Greenville Forest. But I left him a walkie talkie though. Good luck trying to find him, if he doesn't die of suffocation." Jade said and the projector screen cuts off.

GREENVILLE FOREST

Later that day, my Mom and I, and Sebastian, Grayson, Leigh Ann and Sasha are with us trying to find my Dad who is buried.

"Your Dad is somewhere around here." Leigh Ann said.

I turn on the walkie talkie. "Dad? Dad? It's me, Catty."

"Catty? Sweetheart." My Dad said on the walkie talkie.

"Where are you, Dad?" I asked.

"I don't know." My Dad said.

"What's the last thing you saw before you were buried?" My Mom asked her husband.

"I think a tree." My Dad said.

"Um, Dad, we're in the Greenville Forest, so, we're surrounded by trees." I said to him.

"Oh, right." My Dad said.

"Wait, Dad? How buried are you?" I asked.

"I'm not buried deep, but I am buried next to a cave." My Dad said.

Sebastian looks for a cave and sees it. "You guys? I see the cave."

We walks over to the cave and looks around.

"Dad? Make noise with your walkie talkie." I said to him.

"Alright." My Dad said.

We hear some noises from underneath a pile of leafs. We all crouch down and dig through the pile of leafs.

"Peter?!" My Mom exclaimed into the walkie talkie.

Suddenly, my Dad pokes out his dirt-stained hand. Sebastian and Grayson pulls my Dad out of his buried spot.

"Dad?" I said and hugs him.

My Mom and I hugs my Dad and he hugs us back.

PROVIDENCE GENERAL HOSPITAL

That afternoon, I'm sitting upright against the wall with my head gently leaning on my hand.

My Mom has taken my Dad to get checked on for any wounds.

Sebastian, Grayson, Leigh Ann and Sasha are sitting on the floor, cross-legged sitting position, with me.

"Jade is hurting me by hurting my loved ones and cared ones." I said. "She already went after my Mom, and now, my Dad, and you guys are next."

"If Jade comes after us, we'll hurt her." Leigh Ann said.

"Damnit." I said, getting frustrated. "Jade is exacting her vendetta against me."

"She wants you to go after her, CP." Sasha said. "She's trying to rile you up."

"I know." I said. "Jade is gonna get me sooner or later."

"And you're gonna face her alone? Hell no." Grayson said.

"I have to." I said.

"Don't stoop down to her level because that's what she wants you to do." Sebastian said.

"And plus, Jade Ester isn't the only person that we should worry about." Grayson said.

"Remy Levesque is the last of my concerns right now." I said. "First, we deal with Jade."

My phone buzzes in my pants pocket. I take out my phone and looks at it.

Drake Pierson

"Why is Drake calling me?" I said.

"Could be a trick from Jade? According to what you told us, she's been hooking up with him." Leigh Ann said.

"Or maybe, she got bored with him." I said.

The Beckett Crew and I exchange suspicious looks at each other. And I answer my phone, putting it on speakerphone.

"What do you want, Drake?" I asked.

"I have information about Jade Ester that you might be interested in." Drake said on the speakerphone.

"Why should I believe anything you say after the BS you put Grayson through?" I asked him.

"Because Jade tried to kill me that's why." Drake tells me. "I'll meet you at Rochelle's?"

And Drake hangs up his phone.

ROCHELLE'S DINER

Later that evening, Me and the Beckett Crew met up with Drake, who is sitting across from me with a black eye.

"What happened to your eye? Jade punched you?" Grayson said.

"I tried to break up our hookups, she threw a tantrum and punched me in my face. Then, she tried to kill me by suffocating me with a plastic bag over my head. Luckily, I escaped her." Drake tells us.

"You said that you have some information about Jade Ester." Leigh Ann said.

"Her parents had her committed into the Providence Asylum. Her parents sent her away there." Drake tells us.

"Do you know that Jade is gonna come after you, right?" Sasha tells him.

"Not if Catty's parents put me in protective custody." Drake said.

"You're scared of her, aren't you, Drake? Of course, you are. Why else call me knowing my Dad is the Sheriff Captain and my Mom is the head of the Special Agents?" I said.

"So, why the hell should we protect you from a sociopath?" Sebastian asked.

"We all want that crazy sociopathic bitch, Jade Ester, out of our lives for good." Drake said. "So, I propose an alliance with you guys? If you want."

"We'll think about it." I said to Drake. "But we don't trust you."

"Fine by me." Drake said.
