JULIET TAPPED HER SCREEN repetitively, as the door to her room had suddenly bursted open. The eighteen year-old hastily turned off her phone and pretended to be asleep, while her mother had checked up on her.

     "I know you're not asleep", she said.

     Juliet convinced herself that her mother was just saying that to test her. And after hearing her mother's footsteps and the door shut, the light-haired girl had sighed a breath of relief.

     Opening her eyes, Juliet shrieked upon seeing her mother still standing at her bedside.

     "I-I thought you left already!"

     "And I thought I told you to stop staying up so late to play those reverse harem games", her mother retorted.

     "How do you know that's what I'm doing?!"

     "Oh I don't know, maybe it's the posters and the figurines on your shelf that told me", the woman sarcastically snorted.

     "Anyways, you have your first day of college tomorrow. Go to bed!"

     "Ugh, I don't even want to go...", the eighteen year-old pouted, as her mother just kissed her forehead in response.

     "You'll have fun, I promise. And who knows, maybe you'll meet a boy that's even cuter than the ones you simp for over the screen".

     "Doubt it, but aight".

     The woman flashed her daughter a chaste smile, as she exited her room, leaving Juliet's thoughts to wander back to the game.

     "Eh? Did I already enter my name?", the young lady mumbled to herself.

     "Oh well! Hot boys, here I come!"

Hi darlings!! This'll be a crackfic just because. And even though it's supposedly "college", for some reason, their ages range from 16 (freshmen) - 18/20 (junior).

I know. Makes no damn sense.
