Katherines head went up as she sees Tonks, Moody, coming in with Harry Potter. Harry stares at her as if he knew her from somewhere. Sirius looks at her. Molly comes out and closes the door. Severus came in a few minutes later to talk.

"Any news on Daphne?" She asks him as they walked into the kitchen.

"Narcissa said shes okay. Lucius and Daphne had a fight the other night."

"I swear Severus if he hurts her!" She points at him.

"Everything alright?" Sirius comes from behind. Severus walks away as he entered the room.

"Its just Daphne." She pats his chest. "Worried about her, thats all."

"My love." He holds her hands, kissing them. "Daphne will not go down the dark path. Im sure of it." Yeah, that black dog, her love, its Sirius Black.

"The meeting." She pulls him to the kitchen, taking a sit next to him. It was already staring. They started to talk about Harry, Voldemort, the order.

"He's not a child, Molly." Sirius tells her as he said that Harry should know and join.

"But he's not an adult either."

"I agree with Molly, Harry is too young to join the order." She shakes her head. "Even fight. We cant  risk that."

"He's not James, Sirius."

"Well, he's not your son." He looks at Molly. She glances back at him.

"He's as good as."

"Who else has he got?"

"He's got me."

"How touchingly paternal, Black. Perhaps Potter will grow up to be a felon, just like his godfather." Severus comes into the conversation. Katherine glances at him too.

"Severus!" She yells.

"Now, you stay out of this, Snivellus." Sirius stands up to him. "Or should I bring your daughter into this? The one you failed to protect." Katherine held them back.

"Dont bring her into this!" Severus snarls.

"Sirius! Enough!" She frowns. The two didn't take their eyes away. The tension between these two. "I think we had enough with this meeting. Bring down the kids to eat." Molly calls down the kids, Severus left.

"Im sorry love. I shouldn't have brought her up."

"She didn't have a choice. You know that. Shes a kid. Who doesn't know the real evil that after her" As Harry walks in, he saw Katherine again, he couldn't put his finger on who she looked like. Everyone sat down, Molly and Katherine setting the food on the table. Sirius being him, he told Harry about Voldemort and the order until Molly stops hims.

"Love." Sirius holds her hand.

"Dont bring me into this Sirius. We said it already. He's just a boy." Dinner was done, Katherine headed to the living room.

"Excuse me." She turns, it was Harry. She gave him a smile.

"Harry Potter, its a pleasure to finally meet you. Ive heard a lot about you." He shook her hand. "Katherine Cox." Harry squinted. Cox? Why does it sound so familiar.

"Im sorry but, have we met before?" She chuckles.

"No. But maybe know my nie-" she stops herself. "Im Daphnes nanny." Harry saw the resemblance. She looked too much like Daphne to be her nanny.

"You raised Daphne?"

"Yes. I know she can be difficult at times." He smirks, at times? More like all the time. "Father like daughter i guess. She actually speaks about you."

"I see you met my lovely girlfriend." Sirius walks in.

"Oh stop it Sirius." She slaps his chest. She looks at the clock. "I have to go, i have to meet my brother." She kisses his cheek. "You watch him Harry, i trust you. Dont let him out of the house." She jokes. "I dont want him to get caught. Im not losing you again."

"Yes ma'am."

"Bye!" Katherine said her goodbyes and walked away from the home. She kept her hood up. She walked into a little cafe by the corner. Katherine took a seat by the back, waiting. Severus and Lucas showed up. "Where is she?"

"Home."

"Does she know where you are?" Severus spoke up.

"I told her i was at the Malfoys." The two frowned.

"Are you insane!?" He yells at Lucas. "If she goes snooping around there shes going to find Daphne! She'll take her away from me! Us!"

"She wont." Lucas plays with his hands. "She cant leave anyways, shes got dementors on her."

"Did she ask for her?"

"Of course she did. I told her she's with the Zabini's for the summer." Katherine and Severus' knuckles turned white, face turned red.

"She's going to kill them! The only friend Daphne has!" Katherine shouts, immediately backed up. "She will and you know this!" Severus shakes his head.

"I will not lose her!"

"I got it under control. We all have to see her tomorrow so she won't suspect anything. Severus, you can tell her where Daphne is to throw her off."

"I raised that girl since the day she was born!" Katherine snaps. "I will not let that monster near her. Daphne will not go down her path. I will not let become evil."

"We wont." Severus grabs her hand, calming her down.

"I know her more. She has good in her." She points at the table, crying. "Daphne has been through so much. Ill die for that girl. She deserves to be happy. Shes mine!" Lucas backs up. Katherine did care about Daphne as if she was her daughter.

"Katherine, we kept our word." Lucas holds her hand.

"We have to do what we must." Severus said as he looks out the window. "We have to be prepared at least. One day we won't be able to hide her from her." He was right. Keeping Daphne in the dark, hiding her way isn't going to last any longer. "He wants to meet her again, wants her sitting at the table." The three sat there, sitting with with hands on their mouths. Not knowing what to do. "She's my daughter, I will not fail her again. She already thinks I failed."

"Thats not true." Lucas tells him. "We didn't see this coming. Daphne will be okay. Nothing will happen to her when she's at the Malfoys." Katherine fakes a laugh.

"You think Lucius will protect her? He only cares about himself. He only said that he'll protect her to Severus was because he was scared. He doesn't even care about Draco, why would you think he'll do the same for our Daphne. Im betting that sooner or later he'll throw his own son to join. These are just kids. They don't need this type of pain. They should be worried about what job they want to pursue, what they want in life, who they're going get married and have kids with, but they are all too worried about one man who ruining their lives since birth." Katherine cries. No kid should go through this. Nobody. "You are her father, I get you don't want to talk about your feelings, but for merlins sake, for her. She needs us more than ever." She gathers her things and left since she didn't want to talk about that anymore and headed back to the Black home. Severus and Lucas sat there.

"She's right." Severus nods to himself. The two best friends sighed.

"We can't keep treating her like a child anymore."

"Why did she have to bring her into this mess."

"Because its her. She only cares about herself and her name. Imagine having her by her side." Lucas scoffs. Imagine, they both would ruin everything and turn it into hell. Severus pulls out a envelope and slides it to Lucas. "Whats this?" He takes it out, nothing on the letter. "Sev." Severus pulls out his wand taps the parchment. Words appeared. Lucas began to read. "You believe this nonsense?" Severus shakes his head.

"She has to know about her." Lucas folds the letter back and gave it to Severus. "Ill set it up. Ill tell her." The two men left the restaurant and parted ways. Severus went back to the home he had in London and Lucas went back to house that they all shared.
