Lucas helped me as I put my cases into the car. I'm heading back to Hogwarts. Finally. I took one last look in the mirror, I decided to straighten my hair to actually look like im put together even though im falling apart in the inside. I grabbed my jacket as I head downstairs. As usual, father went back yesterday, Katherine came back yesterday from the Weasleys just to say goodbye to me.

"Come here." I headed to her to give her hug. "You got everything right?"

"Yes Katherine." She pick my chin up to look at her.

"Whats wrong? I can see it written all over your face."

"I have a gut feeling that we wont be seeing each other." I didn't want to think about it really. It upsets me. Imagine not knowing when you'll be seeing someone you love.

"Dont think that. We will soon."

"Where are you going after this?" Since everyone is leaving, the place will be empty.

"Im staying with the Weasleys, so dont you worry my dear." She bops my nose. She noticed that my face didn't change when I told her that I had a feeling we wont be seeing each other. We never brought up my talk with Voldemort since that day, I didn't want to talk about it, promising her that i had it covered. "I promise you, when all of this is over, we all will be a family again, like how it was before."

"Alright." She gave me on last hug and a kiss.

"Goodbye Daphne." She said as I walked to the door.

"Oh Katherine, Lets not say goodbye, how about, see you soon?" She nearly choked up. The same words she said as I left for Hogwarts my first year.

"See you soon dear." I waved and closed the door.

"Hurry up, we're late." Lucas and I drove off. "You got lipstick on your cheek there." I wiped it off with my sleeve. Lucas sped off, so I wont be late. We managed to get my belongings onto a cart and we started running. 10:58. We both got to platform 9 3/4. "Go! Ill give your things to him."

"Ill see you." I hugged him before I jumped into the train. I took a second to catch my breath. I noticed that all the seats were taken and I was in the Hufflepuff section of the train.

"Daphne!" I was relieved as I saw Lisas head peeped out from one of the rooms. "Come!" I smiled and headed in. I greeted her with a hug. "I thought you hated hugs."

"Shut up Scamander." I joked. We both sat down and chatted. "How did your summer go?"

"You know, its been boring honestly. Mom and dad didn't want me and Rolf to come back this year, word is Dumbledore is getting old."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, but Rolf and I persuaded them."

"Thats a good thing. I wouldn't know what ill do if you weren't here."

"Die." We both laughed. The door opened and it was Rolf.

"Whats she doing here?" He spat. He looked at me up and down. I sat back, didn't say a word.

"Rolf, she's my best friend." Lisa rolled her eyes.

"You don't belong here." He glares.

"Rolf!" Lisa stands up.

"I thought we can seat as where ever we pleased Rolf." I said to him.

"She can be here, I told her to sit here!" I stood up, getting their attention.

"Its fine, I'll go. I have to find Draco anyways." I gave Lisa a nod. "Its okay Lisa." I put my bag over my shoulder and headed out.

"Quibbler?" Luna came up to me. I looked at the magazine she had out.

"Uh yeah, sure." She handed me one.

"I really like the dark red shade on you, it brings out your complexion." She complemented as she skips away trying to give away more Quibblers. I looked up to see Potter staring at me. He really did have a staring problem. I didn't say anything or do anything, i just waked passed him. He was confused about why I didn't say anything. Honestly, im over it. I got other things to worry about and It doesn't get me anywhere. Maybe I can be nice for once, try it out. I finally made it to the Slytherin side of the train, I watched Blaise and Pansy leaving. My heart started to beat faster as I saw Draco. I opened the door and his anger eyes knew those familiar platform shoes, and they turned soft as he met mine. He ran up to me, spun me around. Merlins it felt good to see him again. As he placed me down, I kissed him.

"I missed you." He whispers as he leaned down, touching his forehead with mine.

"I've missed you more." We sat down, he wrapped his arm around me as I played with his suit button.

"Without you im a wreak. I need you here to stay." He kisses my cheek.

"Im not going anywhere. Im here now." I touched his lip.

"Promise me." I turn to him.

"Whats wrong?" I can sense it in his voice. He's hurt, sad. He slowly looks at me.

"Promise me you won't leave me." I kissed him again, holding onto his shirt collar.

"I promise that I will stay with you." I whispered back to him. "Im so glad to see you again my love. I've been dreading this day to come."

"You have no idea darling." The trains stops, we're here and we stood up. "Go on, i wanna check something." Draco said as he got his bag off the shelf.

"Ill wait for you by the cases alright?" I placed a kiss on his cheek. I hopped off the train and made my way to the gate. My father was there.

"Dear." He said as I walked up to him.

"Father."

"Waiting for Draco?"

"Yeah, he wanted to look at something." Just like that, he appeared. He placed his hand on my waist. I saw Lucius walking cane in the pile of students belongings.

"It's not a cane, you cretin. It's a walking stick." Draco snarls at Flich, snatching it from him.

"And what exactly will you be doing with all... be construed as an offensive weapon."

"It's alright, Mr. Filch. I can vouch for Mr. Malfoy." My father said slowly. Draco turns to his side.

"Nice face, Potter." I looked back and saw his face, his nose was bleeding. Potter clenched his jaw. My face softens. "Lets go darling." We walked together into the school.

"Did you do that to Potter?" I asked him as we headed to our dorm.

"What do you mean?" He looks down at me. I went to my dorm and got into my robe and uniform, meeting Draco in the common room.

"Well well." Blaise smiles. "Miss Snape, looking divine as always."

"Oh shut it Blaise." I blushed.

"Oh come on Snape, you know you look good. Better than everyone in this school." Draco charges in. I knew this isn't going to be pretty.

"Thoughts to yourself Blaise." He snarls.

"Come on Draco." Blaise crosses his arms. "Shes my best friend."

"Boys, can we put away our measuring tapes and go to the great hall?" Draco held my hand as we walked away. What is his problem now?

"Hey listen, sorry about Rolf." Lisa said as she appeared next to me with Blaise.

"No need."

"He's been overprotective lately."

"Lisa, i get it. Its fine!" I gave her a warm smile. "Dont have to apologize."

"What he do?" Draco said as we walked down the stairs.

"Nothing, he just kicked me out of the train where me and Lisa were sitting." I stopped him as I knew he got angry, looking for the second twin, Rolf Scamander. I made him look at me. "Everything is good, i handled it." I fixed his tie. "Do I always have to fix this for you? We're going to be 90 and I'm still fixing it for you." With that, he cooled down.

"Sorry darling." He kisses my knuckles.

"Lets go." I held onto his arm and we walked in the hall. Sitting down, eating, sorting. The normal.

"Very best of evenings to you all. Thanks." Dumbledore said as he stood up. "First off, let me introduce the newest member of our staff. Horace Slughorn. Professor Slughorn, I'm happy to say, has agreed to resume his old post... as Potions Master. Meanwhile, the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts... will be taken by Professor Snape." Everyone clapped. Finally, my father got the spot he deserves. I smiled at him, congratulating him.

"About time." Blaise said to me.

"As you know, each and every one of you were searched upon your arrival here tonight. And you have the right to know why. Once, there was a young man. Like you, sat in this very hall. Walked this castle's corridors. Slept under it's roof. You see, to all the world, a student like any other. His name, Tom Riddle." My face frowned. Voldemort. "Today of course, is known all over the world by another name. Which is why as I stand, looking out upon you all tonight, I'm reminded of a sobering fact. Every day, every hour, this very minute, perhaps... dark forces attempt to penetrate this castle's walls. But in the end, that greatest weapon... is you. Just something to think about. Now off to bed, pip-pip." With that, the room felt uneasy. Draco rested his head on his hand. He was out of it.

"My love, lets go." I held out my hand. He looked sad. Draco and I lead the first years to their dorms. We walked around as we had time to spare. "Lets go to our spot." I grabbed his hand, leading him.

"Daphne-"

"Just for a few." I begged. He gave in and I lead the way. We made it to the top. He seemed not like himself. I gave him a lingering kiss. "Draco, i cant imagine what you are going through. I am here if you need to talk. Please don't pull the same bloody shit i did last year."

"Yes darling." He pulled me closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck. We laid down, snogging each other. "Can we stay here tonight?"

"Of course." I took off my robe and so did he. Our hands were all over each other. Missing our touches. Draco got on top of me and gently kissing me with passion. We didn't really do much, to be honest, I just wanted to kiss him. No sex, just kissing. Its what I needed. We laid down, watching the stars above us. "They look beautiful today." I pointed out.

"Not as beautiful as you."

"Stop it." I gently pushed him. "They all have a story, just so beautiful."

"You really are obsessed with the stars." I turned my head to him.

"When I was little, Katherine and I would sneak out to the garden at night. We would go in the middle of the garden, dead center, rumor has it, my great great grandmother put the maze in the middle of the forest so you can see the whole constellation from there. We studied, pointed out, learn every star. Sometimes Lucas would join." I bit on my lip, remembering the good times. "Astrology was Katherines favorite class. Shes the reason why I love them so much."

"Okay miss astrology, name them." I pointed up.

"Thats a Bellatrix." And then pointed above the star. "Thats a Sirius." Draco didn't pay attention to the stars she was pointing at, he just looked at her. "Leo, and then this one." He looks up, watching her point at a star.

"Whats that one called?"

"Draco." She said in a smooth whisper.

"Your favorite star?" Daphne smiles to herself.

"Second." She confessed. "My favorite star is that one. Scorpius. Its so bright, so unique." Draco liked the name. Scorpius. "When I was little, Katherine would sing a song to me every time I got sad, she called it the moon song."

"Lets hear it."

"Oh heavens no." She covers her eyes.

"You're in choir for a reason. Come on Darling, just this once?" Daphne gave up, clearing her throat. Daphne voice was so beautiful. It was like angels singing from above. Draco wrapped his arms around her, looking at the stars as she drifted off to sleep. He planted a kiss on her temple. In his arms, he was able to sleep, knowing that she's okay, with him. Nothing will harm her.
