Nothing but trouble from the golden trio. Glad Daphne wasn't involved. Haven't missed much, picking here, studying there, with her father there. School was coming to an end. Everyone was saying their goodbyes and packing. Daphne had already said her goodbye to Lisa and headed to the train. As Daphne gathered her belongings she was found by Draco.

Nothing really happened between the two. I mean it was just the two in the room. No words were exchanged only but glances. With a book stuck under her nose and the other one was looking out of the window.

"Hey Draco." Pansy said lovely. Daphne nearly gagged. Draco saw the expression and pushed her off of him.

"Leave Pansy." He said coldly. She huffed, grabbing her bag and left. "Never thought she would leave."

"She'll come back. She always does." Daphne didnt look up at her book.

"What will you be doing this summer?" He sits next to her, making her close her book.

"Why would you like to care?" She gets close to his face. "If you must know, ill be spending time with my father and Katherine and possibly Lucas."

"Well, you're always welcome to the Malfoy Manor." Daphne sits straight. "I could ask my father if you can come over."

"Ill hold you to that." Its been hours since the train ride. Daphne slept through half of it, leaning against the boys shoulder. Draco didn't mind, he liked it.

"Hey, Snape, we're here." He gently wakes her up. Daphne slowly opens her eyes, rubbing them.

"We're here already?" She yawns. They gathered their things and waited for their parents and guardian outside. You can see Narcissa and Katherine talking to each other as they were on their way to get the kids.

"Ms. Daphne how are you?." Narcissa smiles down at the girl.

"Im good, thanks for asking mrs. Malfoy."

"Well, we should get going. I bet you both have a lot to do." Katherine smiles as she picks up Daphnes bags to the cart. "Narcissa, I Hope we'll be seeing you again. You too Draco." Draco nods.

"Oh please Katherine, you're welcome to the home any day." Draco looks at Daphne. He did say that they wont mind. "And Daphne, hopefully you'll be stopping by."

"Yes ma'am." She nods. The two left. Dracos head turns back as he sees Daphne walks away, holding Katherines hand. Daphne did look back and see Draco. She gives him a smile before turning.

Once the two got home, the home was decorated with streamers and a welcome home sign, welcoming back Daphne.

"Ohhh how I much I missed you!" She hugs me from behind. I patted her arm. I did miss it here.

"Come! I got something for you!" She grabs my hand and pulls me to the family room. A small box was sitting there on the table, perfectly wrapped and had a bow on top. "Go on." I walked up to it and slowly opened it. "You love it?" I pulled out a photo frame of my father and I with Katherine and Lucas.

"Very. Thank you." I smiled down. As I went upstairs to my room to settle in. I placed the photograph on my nightstand and started to occupy myself by redoing my room. Pulling my wand from my boot, with a swoosh, all furniture were in the air as I imagine the new placement. I moved my photos and drawings to the other side of the room.

Dinner was served shortly after. Katherine made my favorite. Mashed potatoes and chicken. It was already late by the time I ate. Katherine said her goodnights and went to her room. I stayed up late, just sketching. My mind wandered, i started to sketch Draco.

"Its nearly 2, what are you doing up this late?" My father said as he walks in. I flipped the book over and ran to him.

"I wanted to wait for you. How was your ride here?" I asked him. He walks me back to my bed.

"Tiring. I just wanted to come here and see you."

"We'll have the whole summer." I laughed. These types of moments are the ones I like. Me and my father, chatting, laughing.

"That we do." He tucks me in. "You better go to bed. No more staying up, you hear?"

"Yes father." He planted a kiss on my head. He turned off my lights and closed the door. I pulled out my wand.

"Lumos." I whispered. My wand glowed. I held it as I went back to drawing, my feet swinging back and forth, me humming. I spent another 2 hours up just drawing his features. I knocked out, snoring filled the room.

Its been several weeks since the last day of school. We've been here mostly, nothing to do as always. The other week, i was excited to hear the Malfoy's were coming, i dressed up, looked all nice all for Draco not be there. Only his parents came and it was lonely.

Blaise came over yesterday , just to go to Diagon Alley for candy and stalk the muggles. This was just a normal day in my life.

"Daphne! Breakfast!" Katherine yells from downstairs. Daphne moans, getting out of bed and shuffling down the stairs.

"Morning." Lucas said as he plopped on the seat. Her father smirked. Katherine placed the pancakes and eggs in front of her.

"You look tired." Severus peeks up from the daily prophet.

"Yeah. Blaise and I walked around to see the muggles." I chewed on my food. "Very stupid they are." Making him smile. Katherine comes in with the mail.

"Ooh Blaise." Lucas sang. I gave him a look.

"This is for you." She hands me the letter. She gave me a slide glance, smiling. I read the front, it was from Draco. My eyes widen. I nearly choked on my juice.

"Can I be excused?" I asked.

"Not until you finish your breakfast." I sighed and started to gobble down the food.

"Looks important." Katherine said as Lucas smirks.

"Its not." I lied.

"Sure it is." I cleared my plate. I jumped out of my seat and took my letter with me, running to my room. I jumped on my bed and opened the letter.

Daphne,
I've heard that you were looking for me when my parents were at your home. I apologize for not coming, i had to do things. I do hope you can come over, I really miss your presence.
Draco

My heart started to beat faster, my hands started to sweat. What is this? Why am I feeling like this? I went to my desk and started to write back.

Draco,
Its only been a couple of weeks since we've seen each other. I never knew how much you miss me. Soon as i speak to my father, i will ask him about going to your home. Hopefully we'll see each other again.
Daphne

I signed it. I whistled for our owl, Jinx. I handed the letter to him and he flew away. I sat with my arms crossed out the window, watching him go. How can I miss this boy so much already? He's just a friend.

For three day straight, the kids sent letters back and forth. In total of 60 letters. The owls were exhausted, passing out once they arrived at the homes. One of them bit Draco with anger. Daphne started keeping the letters in her old jewelry box, on top of her shelf, where she believes nobody will find them. She treasured them as if they were some type of prized possession.

Daphne raced down the stairs and walked swayingly to the kitchen where Katherine was. She wanted something. She always did that if she desperately wanted something. Katherine saw her come in, sitting next to the kitchen counter top, asking if she needed any help.

"You can lick the spoon." Katherine handed her spoon. She was making cookies, Daphnes favorites, chocolate chip. She wanted to be on Katherines good side today, for what she wanted to say. "What brings you here?"

"What makes you think that?"

"I don't know, i raised you. I know you Daphne Lilith." Daphne sighs, giving in. Katherine crosses her arms. In a way, she saw Severus in her, her black eyes, the way she rested her face. Well, she is his daughter.

"I was wondering if you can take me to see Draco." Before Katherine would say another word, she continues. "I've been good. I studied my books, cleaned my room, and attic, ive helped you even clean this spoon!" She listed.

"Well." She hums, placing a finger in her chin. "You are lucky, these are for Narcissa." Daphnes eyes glowed. "I guess you can tag along."

"Really!" She smiles brightly. Katherine never saw her this happy over anyone.

"But!" She stops her. "You have to ask your father."

"Done! Deal!" Daphne gives her the spoon and races up to her fathers office. "Father!" She opens the door. He looks up from his note taking. "Can I please go with Katherine to drop off cookies for Mrs. Malfoy?"

"Did you-"

"Clean my room? Yes." He closes his eyes. Of course she did he thought.

"I believe you can." She runs up to him, kissing his cheek repeatedly.

"Thank you! Thank you!" Severus holds his daughter. He never seen her this happy either. He liked seeing her like this. She skips away and got ready to leave. Katherine and Daphne waved their wands and appeared at the Malfoy Manor. Its oddly beautiful. The colors, the windows, absolutely beautiful.

"Narcissa!" Katherine smiles as she opens the door.

"Katherine! Daphne, welcome, please come in." She steps aside. They walked in, it was empty yet beautiful. "Someone will be happy to see you." She smiles at Daphne. "Draco!" Seconds later, you can see the platinum blonde boy at the top of the stairs. His eyes widen. He raced down the stairs and attacked Daphne with a hug.

"You're here! Come i want to show you around!" Draco grabs her hand and ran upstairs. The two women giggled. Draco, the tour guide, showed Daphne every nook and cranny of the place. "And this is my room." Daphne was at awed. The dark Emerald green walls felt like home. The big bed that was in the middle of the room.

"These the letters i sent you?" She peaks at the desk.

"I couldn't throw them away. I was just reading them." Daphne cheeks turned red.

"I keep mine on a shelf where Katherine and my father wont read them. Specially Lucas." They both sat on the bed, chatting, laughing. It felt like hours. Daphne felt like she was in a whole different universe when she talked to him. She looked at those grey eyes.

"Daphne!" They heard Katherine yelling. The laughing stopped. It was coming to an end. They slowly walked down.

"Draco, Miss. Cox made cookies for us." Narcissa smiles.

"Thank you Ms. Cox."

"No need, I wouldn't have make them if Daphne didn't tell me that they're your favorite, we wouldn't be here." The women smiled down at them. Of course she did do that. Clever Katherine.

"Bye Draco." Daphne waves as she leaves. Zipping back home, Daphne told Katherine thank you and ran to her room, punching the air in celebration. She finally saw him again.
