The small home was quiet. Daphne listening to music in her room, Lucas on and about, Severus meeting with Voldemort, Wormtail being his stupid self. Katherine seemed to have the house to herself. She cooked, clean. Anything to keep Sirius' death out of her mind. Late at night, when everyone is asleep, she sobs to Sirius, replays the night he died.

First she lost her best friend Lily and James in one night, then her parents, her sister, and then her love of her life. Katherine has so much guilt that she carries all these years and the only way she can let it out is to cry it out. Katherine wipes her tears as she finishes her baking, heading up stairs to tell Daphne. The stairs creaked as she gone up. She knocks on the door to the teenager, opening it seconds later.

"I made your favorite." She peaks into the room. She saw Daphne on her bed, writing a letter.

"Ill be there in a second." Katherine nods. "Wait!" She calls out, making her turn around. "I never said that Im sorry about Sirius. I knew how much you loved him. You just got him back, I'm sorry."

"Theres no need to be sorry dear." Daphne looks down.

"Maybe if I didn't say anything, he could've been here still." Katherine sighs and walks and sits on her bed.

"Dont put this on you. This isn't your fault, neither Harry's. Either way, when we die, we become stories." Katherine plays with Daphnes curly hair. "I like to think that the stories we tell about Sirius makes me feel that he's still with us, alive."

"I hear you, crying at night."

"You dont need to worry about me." She places her hand on her cheek.

"But-

"You're the child, im the adult. You dont need this on your shoulders." Daphne lays back on Katherine. Katherine hugs her, playing with her hair again. "You remember that song I love used to sing to you when you were little?"

"The moon song." Daphne chuckles softly. "The reason why I love the moon and stars so much." Katherine started humming the song. It made Daphne feel at home, safe. She later joined with her, the peaceful tone filled the room.

Katherines POV
Cox Castle 1981

I was in my room, waiting for my letter from Sirius. I paced around the dark Victorian room. Thoughts came to my heads, what will my parents think? Me going against Voldemort? But i had to do this, the war was coming. Sirius and I had to go to meet with the others. My parents were old fashion, strict. But they were understanding and loving. They didn't care what house you were in, or what you wanted to do in the future, and to stand up for what you believe in.

Our father, Jude Cox, was just a rich boy Whos family immigrated from France to London, generations of Slytherins, becoming the first to become a Gryffindor. He's the only child in the Cox family. Who fell in love with a Slytherin girl, Our mother, Mera Sage. She was a family friend to the Riddle family, Mera was third child out of 3 boys. She never became a deatheater because her brothers took her place. She never wanted to be in the violence, thats why she had married my father, to get away from her family and my father swore to protect her.

Jude and Mera meet at a ball, the annual ball that the Cox family threw. They locked eyes and met again at Hogwarts, dated in year 3, and had Lucas age 19. Jude knew the consequences of dating Mera, but he didn't care, he'll be willing to sacrifice his life for her. They were nice parents, loved their children equally, also loved Severus and Sirius as if they were family. Jude and Mera did their best to keep the darkness out of their children lives.

"No!" I heard my father scream from afar. I ran out of my room.

"Father!" I yelled. I picked up my dress and ran out. I ran down the staircase. "Hello!" I shouted. I heard nothing. I opened the doors to the piano room, their bodies were laid out. Their hands nearly touching, faces looking at each other. "Mother!" I ran to her body, shaking her. "Father wake up!" I did the same to my father. I cried. I heard the floor creak. I looked back to see Fiona. "Fiona! Please help! I think they're dead!"

"They are." She said coldly, walking behind me.

"Do something! Lucas!"

"They were going to be in the way." I slowly turned my head to Fiona, who was holding her wand out at me.

"Fiona." I whispered softly, putting my hands up.

"You don't understand Katherine. The lord told me to. To have our name, a name that will scare thousands. The power we can have, in the palm in our hands. Mother and father didn't want that, we can change everything."

"Is that all you care about?" Fiona struggled to keep her wand up, to me.

"We are powerful Katherine. People need to know that we aren't weak." Tears came running down from my face. I knew she was going to kill me. "We are going to start a new revolution. The Lord said so."

"All this, for power."

"I knew you wouldn't understand." She rises her wand, looking at me one last time. "You disgust me." She threw a letter at me. "I found out you were fighting against us." Sirius' letter. She figured out that I was in the order. "The order of the Phoenix." She fakes a laugh. "How could you! Those pesky Gryffindors got to your head! Black doesnt love you! How could you turn back on your family!"

"Becoming a deatheater wasnt part of it Fiona! You chose this! This dark path, this isnt you! Bellatrix and Voldemort got to your head!"

"And Lucas gets a pass then?!"

"No! Neither of you shouldve gone down that path! Lucas only doing this to protect us! Lucas had no choice, he was forced, and you know this." Since our mother hid from Voldemort, he had taken Lucas, since he was the only boy, age 15, he made him his. They forced Lucas to join or Voldemort will kill all of us. Lucas had to do his duty and serve Voldemort, even though he wanted to fight against him. "Yours is different."

"Traitor."

"Do what you must. At the end, you will never win."

"Now with Daphne, anything is possible." Severus doesnt deserve Fiona. I knew she'll drag him into this, including their new baby, Daphne. "With that Potter boy, her and I will be unstoppable. Goodbye sister." A tear came down from her end.

"I love you. No matter what. Because you are my sister." I closed my eyes, Fiona sniffs. "Just promise me, not to hurt Severus or Daphne. Not Daphne. Please. She's just a baby." I saw the room light up green. This is it.

"No!" Lucas comes in, stopping Fiona. I felt a sharp pain on my cheek. I fell back. I felt my life flash before my eyes. Everything went numb. "Up, sister, up." Lucas helps me.

"Fiona-"

"Shes gone. She wont hurt you." He held me tight to him. I looked at the open door that Fiona went out of. My sister was going to kill me.

"Get Severus, neither him or Daphne are safe anymore."

The girls headed down and had dinner, Daphne kept looking at the clock, Severus' hand was heading back here, and Lucas was still at the castle. Katherine kisses Daphnes head as she leaves to the kitchen. Daphne wanted to to read from the library. She walked in the room, stopped as she saw wormtail touching her piano. Daphne crossed her arms and leaned to the side.

"We shouldn't touch things that dont belong to us wormtail." He jumped. She gave him a glare. "That cost more than your life." She walked up and slammed the cover, making him pull his hands to his chest. "Matter in fact, everything here in this house, cost more than you. Touch anything again I will be the one to kill you." He gulps. "Do you understand?"

"Yes-yes." Daphne made a ball with her fist. She wanted him to choke. All the sudden, Wormtails hands wrapped around his neck and started to choke himself. Severus and Katherine walked in to see her staring at Wormtail. The way Daphnes nose twitched.

"Daphne." Katherine holds Daphne into her arms. Wormtail was then released. Severus looks at Daphne, who just thought of choking him.

"Do something!" Wormtail points at my father. "I say we give her-"

"If anyone in this house is giving orders, its me!" Daphne growls. "Im done here." She shrugs Katherine off and walks away. The two were in complete shock.

"If you dont do anything, Ill tell the lord!" Wormtail told the two. "I tell him and you will die, I bet Fiona would love to do a redo." He points at Katherine. Severus was about to step in but Katherine held him back.

"Dont bother. You're not the first to blackmail me." Katherine snarls and walks away. "Lucas." She jumps as she saw her older brother at the door.

"We need Severus." The two went back into the library and threw Wormtail out and away to the basement.

"What is it?"

"Fiona wants to talk." He plopped on the chair. "All three of us. Tomorrow." Severus sighs.

"We have to do what we must."

"And leave Daphne with him?" Katherine refers to wormtail.

"You saw what just happen, I think she can handle him."

"What did I miss?" Lucas sat up, cracking his knuckles.

"She made him choke himself." Lucas and Severus shared the same grin.

"Atta girl." He looks at the two. "Are we sure for tomorrow?"

"Just to put an end to this nonsense." Katherine sits down on the piano bench. Severus looks out the rainy window. The room stayed silent. "What game is she playing now."
