Daphne was just by the lake with Lisa. A little girls day. Umbridge was on their asses, including Daphnes. She picked on her, gave her several more detentions for no reason. Merlins she hated the hag.

It was finally nice to say that sitting there with Lisa, helping Daphne calm down and stepped back from the chaos was calming. Even if it was for a moment.

"You should join." Lisa told Daphne about Dumbledores army, that she joined.

"I don't know. I think i wont be welcomed." I sighed as I pulled out the grass.

"What are these two lovely ladies doing out here?" The Weasley twins popped out behind me. They smiled softly at me. Trouble on my left and trouble on my right.

"You want to know why?" I scoffed. They opened a box filled with their inventions. "Aren't your things ban?"

"Ahh only if she knows." George looks at me.

"Want anything?" Lisa took a look and started picking out the stuff. I skimmed through. "Oh come on Daphne, do you need a love potion?"

"No." I laughed.

"Ahh right, you're with Malfoy. How about-"

"Im fine." I let them down gently. They sighed.

"Well, we know where to find you."

"And to bother you." They winked as they walked away. Daphne and Lisa sat back again.

"You think this would work?" Lisa looks at the love potion. I slowly turned to her. "Blaise." I nodded. The girl tried to get with him since third year. They would look cute together, I do think Blaise likes Lisa but won't admit it. I moved my books to the side, dropping a letter. "Here." She hands her the letter. Daphne looks at the black envelope that she took from her father. "Whos it from?"

"My mother..." i choked. "Should I open it?" Lisa knew about her, Draco told her as he was concerned about her and thought maybe Lisa would help. She had her thoughts, Fiona is a bad person, but Daphne would never hurt a soul. She knows her. Daphne wouldnt. Daphne would never.

"What do you think?" I looked back at the envelope. What else did she say? I teared up the paper and opened the letter. It was blank. "What does it say?" Did my father played me? He said everything she wanted to say was in this letter. Maybe the ink disappears when you read for the first time. I closed my eyes and thought of spell. I opened up my eyes and saw the words appearing.

Daphne,
If you are reading this, I want you to know that I have always been waiting to see you. That day when i gave you the mark, I knew that you'll follow me. You and I will be known. Side by side we'll be the ones that will be fear by everyone. Pretend this is a game, and at the end, we will win.

"Great." I shoved the paper into my book. "The woman is tormenting me. She thinks this is all a game." A cruel one. Merlins the more I learn about her, the more I hate her. She makes me sick. "Why couldn't she stay out of my life?" Then my head was covered with a blindfold, Lisa screamed.

"Let me go!" She yells. Two arms dragged me away from the lake. I tried to fight back but couldn't.

"Unhand me!" It felt like forever as they dragged me. Lisa still yelling for help. They tossed me to the ground.

"Stop!" Lisa cries. The mask was removed from me. We were in the forbidden forest. I looked over Lisa.

"Lisa! Let her go!" I saw a masked people. It wasnt the deatheaters. I froze. One of them sat on me, twirling their wand in my face. Flashbacks came back.

"Daphne!" My heart dropped. It pinned me down, laughing at me. My lip started to quiver. She cut my collarbone, me wincing in pain.

"Let her go!" I cried out. The person raised my arm, the marked, broken one above my head. "Please ive done nothing wrong!" Daphne started to break down. Saying the words she said that day. "Father please!" The other people looked around as she cried for her father. "Let me go!" It pinned Daphne much harder. She couldn't breathe. Daphne started to panic.

"Hold her!" She yells at the boy. The boy held her legs together, making her stop kicking.

"Don't hurt her!" Lisa cries.

"I dont think this is a great idea anymore." One backs up. "You said its to scare her, not to torture her."

"Its just for fun." She giggles. "Dont bail on me now." She goes back and cuts slowly into her chest.

"Please..." daphne gasps. "Dont..." with the strength she had left, Daphne kicks the girl, making her fall back. She quickly stands up and punches her in the face. "Dont touch me!" She grabs her wand from her sock and points at her. "Stupefy!" The girl flies back. Daphne pointed her wand at the the ones who were holding Lisa but they let her go. She stops and looks at me, being hesitant. "Go!" Lisa runs to the school to get her father or anyone to help. Daphne collapse onto the floor and had a panic attack. The girl gets up, taking out her wand.

"Avada-"

"Expelliarmus!" Snape disarms the individual who was going to kill his daughter. Snape took off the masks off the students, Nott, Greengrass, Harrington and Parkinson. Snape went to his daughter, who was panicking, having trouble breathing. "All of you!" He snaps. "My office! You will be getting years worth detention, no, even better a ticket home!" Flich shoves the kids out of the forest. Severus carries Daphne to Madam Pomfey. She quickly took her in. Severus set her down gently and didn't leave her side.

"Lisa! Wheres Lisa!?" I jumped out of bed, but Madam Pomfey held me back.

"Shes okay, shes alright." She assured me.

"I need to see her, I need to see if shes okay." I tried to get her off me.

"Not right now dear, you need to rest."

"I dont need rest, what I need is Lisa!" My father steps aside and there she was. I got of bed and hugged her. My hand touched the back of her head while she rested her head on my shoulder. "You're okay." I sniffed.

"All because of you." I hugged her tighter. "Daph, i didn't want to leave you."

"No, you did what i wanted you to do, you did good." I touched her cheek. They gave her a scar on her neck. "I didn't want you to get hurt."

"Thank you." Lisa stayed by my bedside, even though I told my father it was okay to leave me with her. Lisa ended up leaving since it was curfew, i really didn't want her to leave me.

"It looks like she had a panic attack." She pulls the covers over her. "She'll be okay, but i want her to stay here for the night." Severus stood at the same place, watching his daughter rest. "Severus, let her rest. She'll be okay." She helps him to the door, leaving. Daphne turns away from the door, crying to herself. Sobbing into the pillow, clutching it hard. And then, all of sudden she just stops. The pain went numb.

"Dont cry." She whispers to herself. Slowly, wiping her tears away and turning to look at the ceiling. The doors opened. I didn't want to get up nor see who it was.

"How are you?" My father asks me.

"Fine." I said coldly, not looking at him. No face expressions at all. Snape sighs.

"You're not." No shit. "You might not want to talk to me, so i brought someone you might want to talk with."

"Oh sweetheart." Katherine. I slowly turned my head and looked at her. She dropped her bag and takes a seat besides me, holding my hand and brushing my hair back with the other.

"I want this to be over." I mumbled. They both looked at me. Katherine looks up at my father. "Its all a game for her. Once Lucas or you find her, i want you to kill her." Katherine mouth drops, shaking her head no. "She's toying with me. I dont want to be part of her game."

"Daphne, its not the way, you know this." Katherine rubs my hand.

"Its the only way."

"I wont let her get to you." My father spoke. "But knowing her, She'll gets what she wants."

"Lets not. Its simple." I looked at him dead in the eye.

"I dont think you're hearing me correctly." He snarls.

"Oh, ive heard you loud and clear. Now its my turn." They squinted their eyes at each other. "I guess should pull a Lily Potter and leave you."

"How do you know that?" Katherine yells at me.

"How dare you."

"How dare me? How dare you! Failing to protect me-"

"Stop it!" Katherine stands up, stopping us. My father whips his cloak and storms off. I crossed my arms, looking away as he walked. Katherine sighs. "You both have the same temper, ill give you that." She looks at me, holding my casted hand. "Daphne, your mother doesn't care who is in her way, she'll kill if she must. Thats why we been hiding you."

"If that day comes? If she sees me. Whats going to happen?" She sat there quietly.

"We will not let her take you from us." She sits on the bed, pulls out a photograph and gives it to her.

"This you?" Daphne saw the younger version of Katherine, lace tank top with a jacket, black jeans, boots, her black hair in a half up look. "Who are you holding hands with?"

"Sirius Black." She smiles.

"THE?"

"Yes. You know the black dog you saw me with?"

"Thats him?

"Padfoot is what we call him. Nickname." She laughs. "We met here actually. I accidentally tripped him, making him fall and hit his head." She looks down, laughing. Remembering the good memories. "Thats Potters parents. peter, Dumbledore, Sirius, and-"

"Lupin. He still looks good." The girls laughed. "Is that the Longbottoms?" I pointed out.

"Yes. Tragic. Good people." Daphnes eyes fell. She felt bad for Neville, his parents shouldn't have deserved it. "You're not bad, i know theres good in you." She continues to brush her hair, making her cry softly. Katherine stayed the night, slept in my father office. I didn't sleep, I can't anyways. I heard the door open and Draco coming in. I quickly stood up and ran to him. His arms wrapped around me, kissing my shoulder. I stood on my tippy toes to kiss him.

"Who did this to you?"

"Harrington, Notts, Daphne Greengrass and Pansy." Draco hugs her tighter. He was angry. "Stay with me, please." They headed to the bed, small but they managed. Draco touched her cheek, looked at her chest that Parkinson carved into her. "I dont want you to think this is your fault. Its not." She whispers to him. She touches his cheek, remembering every feature.

"Something couldve happened to you, far worse what they had done."

"Something eventually bad will happen." I kissed him slowly. "Its part of life. No matter how or when, it happens to everyone."

"If you're gone, I will lose myself. Daphne, if something happens to you, i rather kill myself to be with you again." Daphne gets closer to him, making him wraps his arms around her. They stared into each others eyes.

"I never said thank you for being there for me. You are always there to catch me."

"That's because I love you. I would run through fire to save you if I must."
