Neverending Stare
How long was I awake now...?
My brain refuses to stop thinking, articulating me to open my eyes and see if there was a figure of any sort, I knew this was completely foolish even childish maybe, yet my body decides to abide with the sayings of my mind, drained and irritated from all the activities I've done today I just wanted to collapse and sleep but something doesn't let me close my eyes for even a millisecond. I have work Tomorrow I can't pull my day off without any proper rest! I needed to go back to sleep but my thinking process reluctantly goes on. Frustrated I erected myself looking around my room for no specific reason, suddenly my ears catches up on a loud thud, like someone fell real hard on the pavement, though it was outside and kinda muffled, widening my eyes a bit, I ponder what I heard, standing up I went towards my window slightly pushing my curtains to the side to take a peak.
Oh.. it was my neighbour Huh..? What possibly could he be doing at this unholy hour?
Trying to focus at the spot, I squinted my eyes forcing the drowsiness to wear off a little bit, the room light was certainly switched on and I could not make out any person's frame, I stare back for a second before a figure emerges from the hidden areas of the room that were concealed from the window, my neighbour was strange if i had to put it in fast terms, but I knew nothing of this person so I didn't want to accuse falsely about anyone, figuring that the fellow just had a bad fall in middle of the night, i was prepared to leave the scene there but before I could, the person turned towards my house in short gathering his attention at one thing, my window. How was I sure..? I could see his figure directly pointed towards me, eventually, he maybe realized that I was looking or something and retreat back to bed? I didn't know but I was agitated a bit..
This dude wasn't trying to see pass my window, was he...? Either way, I felt severely shaken.
The next morning aroused, I somehow got myself to sleep last night and I had completely
forgotten what had happened the day before, yawning I got up, still feeling tired from the lack of sleep, i walked myself to the bathroom taking a quick shower and brushing my teeth, currently I stood infront of my wardrobe debating what to wear for work today, I decided to be simple and modest and not be too catchy, wearing a pretty white shirt with long skirt that goes a bit passed my knees, stretching up my socks I grabbed my considerably large purse and ventured out my room to the kitchen, having a cup of instant noodles I poured some hot water into it waiting for some seconds before I dig in my breakfast, I liked having tea in the early hours but today I decided to go to a cafe instead, called leblanc I do frequently visit that place, in the recent days though that has unfortunately changed. I'm just too occupied in my work to enjoy properly..
Entering the warm cozy atmosphere, I take a seat near my favourite spot, the window side so I could see what's going on outside and just in general relax and calm myself, sipping a chunk of tea I leaned backwards supporting my back comfortably against the sofa, the flavour of the tea was magnificent, not too sweet nor too bitter the perfect balance.
As I'm spending my time alone in the shop, quiet and tranquil, the bell rings notifying the new visit of a customer, I gaze up and slightly feel my muscles tense up a bit, it was my neighbour.. what a coincidence.. I guess? I nervously laugh inside my head, focusing solely on my tea nothing else, he picked a spot exactly ahead of me, in a way I could see him and he could see me, I quiet down my thoughts, I shouldn't judge him of anything, even if he seems.. oddly creepy maybe it was because of his glasses that hid his eyes from the public? Either way I averted my attention somewhere else.
Silently sitting and having my cup of tea, I once in a while gaze over to my neighbour unintentionally, I don't encounter him that often and he always seemed to blend in with the crowd if I were to spot him somewhere, I don't suspect him just yet. After all I have no proof, I wouldn't want to blame any innocent people for stalking. Taking my last sip, I paid for my order thanking the owner before I exit the cafe. Now I just had to make it to the train station on time..
Great.. no matter how fast or how early I arrive at the station, I always have to be clogged up between numerous number of people just pushing, struggling to stand, I signed in dismay feeling suffocated the moment I got in, thankfully I was surrounded by mostly ladies so I didn't have to worry about some creepy guy who would try to touch or do anything shady. As I'm struck in this stupid train ride, I once again come across someone.. my neighbour, can I call this a coincidence anymore? We were just a few inches away from each other, I couldn't grasp the idea that the guy who was standing just a couple of inches away was my neighbour.
Stunned, I didn't know how to react, in that dazed state, I stared at him as he stared back at me as well, I could see his eyes, it was a beautiful shade of blue mixed with lavender without the ray of sunlight passing through I would have easily mistaken his eye colour to black. His jet dark messy hairs covered his forehead and temple, I had to admit he was quite charming..
"-um are you l/n...?" He asked, his face definitely doesn't match with his voice, it was deep and mischievous maybe soft even? Ugh what am i doing..
"Oh yes, you are my neighbour right.. you live next door yeah..?"
"Hmm that's right, I'am Akira kurusu, it's nice to meet you.." Akira kurusu, it kinda rings a bell in my mind, had I heard it before? from somewhere or someone..?
"Ah! My name is y/n l/n, same here as well!" He grins, maintaining a straight eye contact, I wasn't used to seeing the person eye to eye for a long time so it did tend to make me uncomfortable, feeling the awkwardness kicking in, I started to talk.
"You shifted to this house last month yeah, time sure does pass by very quickly.."
"Yeah, when did you shift to yours...?"
"Hmmm it's been a year I assume.." I replied.
He hums, standing a bit close now since there was a lot of pushing going on in the crowd of travellers, if my eyes weren't wrong I swore I saw him pressing his lips together, a tiny hint of rosy hues on his cheeks plus it was so warm inside, no doubt everyone was slighting sweating.. one last push followed and we both were jabbed against each other, my face went straight into his chest and our bodies touching, it was an accident and I had absolutely no intention of doing whatsoever, I wasn't prepared for the sudden rush of force. "I'm so sorry!! Are you okay?" I quickly asked. My heart beating faster in embarrassment.
"Y-yeah I'm fine.. "
We didn't talk, after all we both were stunned and embarrassed to speak up, the train arrived at the destination soon after and I was so relieved to be out of that place, before I could leave I articulated my final words for him. At least for today.
"Well then I have to take my leave now, why don't you come by my place for snacks or tea?"
"Sure I certainly will."
Nodding in approval, I smiled saying goodbye as I avert myself from him and start walking towards my workplace, I kept myself alert in case he was following, I do feel like I'm overdoing it but it's better than be sorry later, he practically lives next door to me sure, but I wouldn't want him to know any other place than that. I'm skeptical about everything.. if you want to survive in this world, you just have to be mindful..
I did my usual work in my job, stayed there till night and came home at approximately 9 PM or sooner sometimes, I would drop by leblanc to have another good cup of tea before I officially go home from there by walk, the cafe wasn't far from where I lived so it was my favourite place to be. I immediately collapsed on my couch when I got home, exhaling a sigh i stay there till I could find the energy to go change my attire and clean myself up from all the hard work I did, after that I cook up something to eat and have it while watching television, if anything interesting is going on I would up for a bit, and when it's finally 11 PM I have to force myself to bed.
I don't have trouble sleeping but these days I just can't..
Trying to sleep was no good so I had no choice but to ponder, I thought about some stuff I did at work and double checked if I had to do a shift early, after that I thought about him, my neighbour. If I had to make my guesses, I would say he was about 21 or something but I had no clue he seems rather young to me, but I can't deny that he is somewhat very creepy, not in a very bad way kinda in the middle. I sometimes see him near the places I go, I don't engage myself in a conversation though, in recent days I almost see him everywhere. Any other thoughts I had weren't finished as I fell asleep without much consent.
The same route went on for a couple of days, he would bump into me or it would be me, everyday our conversation would get longer and longer, at the same time, I couldn't help but feel extremely uncomfortable. I tired approaching him about this matter, but I would somehow get denied or the topic gets changed suddenly, he was definitely up to something.. I knew it.
Today was a ordinary Sunday, no work just sit enjoy and relax, I was on my phone tying away a text to my friends when I heard the front door being knocked, thinking for a moment, I got up guessing answers on who might be at the entrance, opening the door, I'm immediately met eye to eye with Akira who stood erected, his gaze already on me like a glue. I smiled my expression noticeably a surprised one.
"Oh! Hello!"
"Hey, um is this a bad time to come by..?" He asked, it was transparent on his face that he was nervous but I could see a tiny bit of cockiness in him, like he knew I wouldn't decline his visit.
"No! Not at all, come in!" I said, widening the space enough for him to come in, we both settled down in the living room, a moment of awkward silence comes by, at least for me. I had originally planned to give him tea but he politely declined saying I was the only one he is here for, I approved and sat back down, but watching him stare at me made me regret initially. He wasn't talking nor was he going to talk so I begin to talk myself.
"So um, how's your day going so far..?" I asked, nothing else came to my mouth at that time.
"Awesome, I get to see you as well, a double extra bonus." He said.
"Haha really I'm glad to know I could make your day awesome.." I replied.
He grins, all of a sudden, he takes his glasses off keeps it down on the tiny table before the couch and shakes his head as if to mess up his hair a little, stunned I looked at him questioning look on my face. Not to mention, he looked even more charming this way.
"Why do you wear glasses..? Do you have a poor eyesight?" I inquired.
"A little not too serious, I can see just fine.." He grins much wider this time, his eyes gazing straight into my soul, the feeling I was getting from this moment was overbearing. I genuinely wanted him out of my house but I didn't want to be rude either.
"So.. um.. " I struggled to take even a single word out from my mouth. My heartbeat accelerating and the uneasiness spreading through out my body like a virus.
"Y/n.." Akira spoke. Slowly coming closer. I felt so uncomfortable for some reason, I gulp, my stomach churning in discomfort, retching my mind to work up with something.
"Yeah.. is something wrong.." I choked out.
"How are you so... beautiful..?" He kept coming closer to me, I had no place to move back from his approaching figure. What else could I do..?
"H-Haha that's just how I was created.." I nervously gasped it out.
"Hmm~ I have to say something very important to you.." we were just inches apart now, I could feel his breath hitting my face mildly, my eyes were wide open I'm certain, what was I doing..! I wasn't enjoying this or expecting this at all! So why wasn't I pushing him away and request him to leave my house.
"O-okay Umm w-what is it..?"
He closed the gap between us, his lips nearing towards my ear, he huskily whispered, sending chills down my spine, not in a good way.
"I like you.. no I'd rather say.. I love you.."
He turned my face towards his, our noses almost in contact and his lips just waiting to grab mine into a forceful kiss repleted with lust and hungry for touch. I pressed my lips together, my face warm with shyness, he kept coming closer to my face, his eyes staring into mine, if I wanted to disappear I would want to right now, I had no idea what was going on I was absorbed in shock to react any sooner, just as our lips brushed against each other, I quickly grasped his shoulder pushing him back with much force, I kept my gaze low, but I could feel his disturbance and angry. His eyes were widened in surprise and his lips parted.
"Um I think you should leave, I just remembered I had something very urgent to do.."
"Huh..?"
"I'm sorry but I think you should go home.." I said.
Without his response of approval or not, I started pushing him towards the entrance, no matter if he was trying to manipulate me again or have a say in the situation, reaching the door I quickly unlocked it trying my level hardest to push him out but he was recalcitrant to leave.
"Wait..! You can't push me out like this..!" Akira yelled, his eyes opened wide like a owl who just woke up from his slumber. "Wait..!" I didn't say anything, I stopped for a sec and looked up at him before I smiled, "have a nice day!" I said, pushing him out the door and quickly bolting it shut. Breathing a sigh of relief I stood leaning against the door for support as my body mildly trembled.
I never want to experience that feeling ever again.
From that day on, things started to get worse, my neighbour would follow me everywhere I go everywhere I stayed and I swear I could see his face everywhere I went, that glasses hid his eyes but I could see his stoic face, I tried getting him off my trail but he would somehow get to me again, I was freaking out, I couldn't live like this even if I had. But today's incident was far worse from anything. I was running like a madwoman, he managed to get me cornered, through great difficulty I escaped through the alleyway I wasn't thinking straight the only thing on my mind was to run as fast as I could, reach home safely call the cops and get a restraining order against him. Huffing out air my pace slowed down, I felt dizzy and lightheaded, exhausted and heavy with fear.
Just as I stopped, I heard his footsteps chasing after me, using my last remaining strength i bolted, I could have screamed for help but my throat was so dry and clogged I couldn't speak out a word loud enough. He was catching up, I couldn't run anymore my legs were throbbing in pain! Closing my eyes shut I continued running.
When I reached home, I was just too scared and horrified to move or say a word, my shaken breathing continued and my body trembled restlessly, tears came falling down my cheeks catching my breath became harder, my heartbeat was too fast to stop. I couldn't calm myself I was beyond terrified. Only after a hour later, I had the energy to do anything, I gathered myself and took out my phone while I was punching in the numbers. A call interrupted, it was unknown and there was no username, I didn't remember any phone number that this was being called for, so I cut the call only for it to be called back again. I was hesitant to receive it but I did. Bringing it up to my eardrums, I waited for whoever was on the line to talk.
"Open the door, or else I'll break in.." my heart dropped to the ground, I stopped breathing my mind panicking, rushing adrenaline coursed through my body. I didn't say a thing, my foot glued to the ground, frozen in fear.
"Open the Goddamn door!! " he shouted, I dropped my phone crouching down the floor, I didn't want to face this again, I didn't want any commotion! I didn't ask for any! Hearing no response Akira grew furious, he begin banging on the door loudly, shouting at me to open it. I didn't dare move a muscle. I started praying, begging he couldn't get in. Finally, all hell broke loose, he started hitting the door with more force even going as far as to use his entire body to force open the entrance, crying out in cowardness, I yelled for him to stop. But it just grew louder, my cries growing desperate. I flinched when a crack of wood sounded out, half scared to death I ran up to my room, locking my door and hiding in the corner.
"LET ME IN! Y/N YOU'RE MINE! I LOVE YOU! CAN'T YOU SEE HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU! PLEASE LET ME IN! I'M GOING TO KEEP YOU LOCKED SOMEWHERE SAFE WITH ME! WE CAN BE SO MUCH MORE HAPPIER WITH EACH OTHER! I'LL NEVER LET YOU GO! YOU BELONG TO ME! ME ALONE! Y/N Y/N Y/N Y/N Y/N Y/N!!"
This continued on, I could never imagine someone being this delusional I never knew him properly nor did he, why is he so hell bent on being with me! I'm nothing special! If I didn't say anything now he would break in and who knows what will happen to me?! I called back on the same number he had called me from.
"Please stop! Stop! Stop doing this or else I'll call the cops!" I yelled into the speaker.
The commotion stopped, everything went silent but I could still make out his heavy breathing through the other side, he then whispered.
"This isn't over yet.. I'll come back.... and you won't never see it coming.."
-TIMESKIP-
It's been one week since the attempted break in, and (Y/N) hasn't seen Akira since. But given what his final words to her were, she couldn't help but feel this was all going according to some plan he had made.
(Y/N) let out a sigh, rubbing the remaining drowsiness out of her eyes as she looked down at the kitchen counter. Random monochrome letters were scattered across, with a striped red and black card complete to match. The day after the incident, the (H/C) haired women had received an envelope in the mailbox outside her house. All it had was the letter "R" cut out from a magazine, and what looked like the back of some patterned business card.
Her gut told her to just move, get the fuck away from all of this, but that was damn near impossible. She had little to no money in savings, and the amount of cash held on her was laughable.
(Y/N) didn't get a wink of sleep that night, her mind only concentrating on what the two items she had gotten were supposed to mean.
'Why red and black? If someone was going to send me a blank card for god-knows-what, then why not just use normal paper? It'd be easier. And why the letter? Why "R"? Are they just trying to toy with me? Unless there was a reason. Or am I just thinking too mu-'
She passed out before she could finish her thought.
The next morning, another letter was found. On her nightstand.
With shaky fingers, (Y/N) held up a semi-torn "E". Tears began to well up in her eyes. What had she done to deserve this? For someone to think it was okay to break into her house? She hadn't done anything wrong. She was just trying to live a simple life, one without any problems. Clearly something went wrong along the way. And she had a very strong feeling exactly what had happened.
But it’s not like she could call the cops. There was no exact proof it was him; just instinct. And considering the fact that he had managed to break into her house and leave something for her, there was a very low possibility he was stupid enough to leave fingerprints.
All she could do in the meantime was suffer and pray the psycho behind this stopped.
Each and every single day, without fail, another letter would be left somewhere in her house. On the coffee table, taped to her computer, stuck in between her bedroom door, even on top of her pillow, which was now stained with tears. It was starting to get to her head.
Her hand instinctively reached out towards the coffee mug placed near the sink, but retracted once she'd realized what she was doing. The caffeinated beverage would only bring back bad memories. And this childish puzzle wasn't helping. At all. So far she had received seven of these magazine cutouts. Enough to possibly make out a word, but other than that nothing.
“L S A Y R H T”
"I'll say right? No, that doesn't make any sense." (Y/N) scribbled out the idea on a small notebook. The (E/C) eyed women needed help. Someone, anyone, would do. Hell, she'd probably accept Akira's help at this point...
"No. No no no, what am I thinking? He's the one who's causing all of this stress for me, why should I even consider his help?" A loud bang of her head on the counter helped calm her nerves down, as much as she knew it would probably leave a bruise. She refused to lift her head back up in retaliation of the card. It’s not as if she had any friends or family in the area she could go to for help on this. They all were either out of contact or didn't live anywhere close.
(Y/N) closed her eyes, the stress of the situation seemingly making her body more and more exhausted with each passing day. It seemed like a dream, one of those strange anxiety dreams that you wake from in a tangle of bedsheets and a sheen of sweat. She wished this was only a dream.
Grabbing a few of the letters, (Y/N) encased them in a ziplock bag, making sure to leave as little fingerprints as possible. If she was going to show these as evidence, she needed to make sure there was enough proof that he did this. Exiting her house and locking the door, the (H/C) haired woman strode forward, plan in mind.
Before she knew it, a brick building with blue signs had appeared in her line of sight. Honestly, she really didn't know what exactly had possessed her to do this. She knew they couldn't (and probably wouldn't) do anything. But hey, it didn't hurt to try right?
‘I hope I’m making the right decision with this…’ Holding back a desperate sigh, (Y/N) pushed open the glass doors and walked in. There were only three people inside; one police officer, and a figure wearing a pitch black hoodie, sitting on a bench nearby. She couldn’t see his face, but didn’t care to. Right now she had something much more important.
The man at the front desk had his head laid down, mumbling under his breath. Probably something about sleeping. "Um, excuse me sir? I have something I'd like to report." Slightly knocking her hand on the wooden desk to get his attention, the officer woke up from his daydreaming with a loud groan.
"What do you wanna report?" The officer asked, seemingly already tired of this conversation. Looking at the ziplock bag, he added, "A bunch of strips of paper?"
"Someone's been leaving these inside my house recently, and I want you to arrest who's been doing it." (Y/N) failed to notice the stranger in the background whip their head up, seemingly eavesdropping in on the conversation.
"Do you have any actual proof besides this?" A hand was gestured towards the letters.
"W-well, no, but there is someone-" He cut her off. "Well then I'm sorry, but we can't help you." (Y/N) could already feel the blood flowing through her veins. What kind of a cop is this? What was wrong with him?
"But you didn't even give me a chance to explain-"
“We’re sorry ma’am,” The police officer repeated himself, tilting his cap down at a slight angle, “but we can’t do anything without decisive proof. All I can tell you is to lock your doors and windows at night, and call us if you see the person.” He let out a grunt, signaling their conversation was over.
‘What do you think I’ve been doing? Leaving the front door open and waiting for them on my couch?’ (Y/N) wanted to question the cop some more, but that would’ve already made her situation seem less credible than it already was.
Instead, the (E/C) eyed women let out a simple ‘I understand’ before leaving the police station. As mad as she was, she should’ve expected it. It was like the guy said; there was no definitive evidence.
Hiding her look of shame from public view, (Y/N) walked down the sidewalk, bag in hand. Just like she had thought earlier, she knew it was futile. But now she had no one else to go to for help.
Before she knew what was going on, a hand suddenly planted itself on her waist and pushed her, making her stumble into the nearby - and deserted - alleyway.
A black hooded man immediately moved forwards, effectively trapping the poor woman. He covered her mouth before she could scream, letting it muffle into his hands. Her eyes, oh so pretty, were wide with terror as he pushed her back against the brick wall. He brought a finger to his mouth, signaling to be quiet.
Tears began to collect in her (E/C) eyes, but she nodded in understanding. It didn’t actually matter if she screamed or not, no one could hear the two of them anyway.
(Y/N) was currently freaking out. Who was this man?! Why was he doing this?! She swore she'd seen him somewhere, but his hood was lowered just enough to cover his eyes, concealing them from view.
The aggressor brought his hand away, eyes focused on the way her lips quivered. “Please don’t hurt me.” She whispered, fear so evident.
“I wouldn’t even dream of doing such a thing..” He finally spoke, voice sounded restained, muffled. Forced even. Like he was trying to hide it from the women he was currently holding.
He moved his hand back forward to brush over her lips. Soft. (Y/N) pressed them together and pulled her head away from him, grimacing. His hand faltered. He just wanted to touch his darling.
He placed a hand on her breast, squeezing. (Y/N)'s breath hitched as he did so, still refusing to look at him. But that didn’t matter, he was just thinking about how soft she was. How fucking beautiful.
The assaulter immediately thrust forward, his lips met hers in a sloppy kiss full of lust and hunger. (Y/N) attempted to discourage him from, kicking her legs, hoping to hit him. She bit back her tongue, refusing to reciprocate the sign of affection. His grip on her shoulders became harder, leaving fingernail marks to dig into her skin. (Y/N) knew what it was. It was a warning. 'Kiss me back or I'll make you regret it.'
(Y/N) kissed him. His lips were rough and dry and cold, his kiss was harsh. But she kissed him back...she didn’t want to find out what would happen if she denied him again.
The hooded assaulter leaned towards frightened women, eyes full of hunger and lust. His fingers began to trail down to her neck with a complicated, grotesque arsenal. With needless compassion and a foul urge, he immediately bit down on her collarbone and started to suck, finding her sweet spot almost instantaneously. Bundling up all the sensations at the surface of his lips, the man groaned in pure glee.
"God... I just…” He moaned, taking his mouth away from the hickey. “I just can't fucking take it anymore. I mean, I know it's partially my fault for not sending more letters, but you should've been smart enough to figure it out by now darling! I know you’re clever enough to solve this puzzle.” The man leaned forward, his head now almost laying on her purple and red colored collarbone.
“Do it for your sake.” His breath was warm, small translucent puffs of air hitting (Y/N)’s neck.
He buried his nose in her hair. “Do it for my sake." He inhaled, growling sensually, sending unwanted jolts of electricity down her spine. “Do it for our sake.”
His voice was nothing but a whisper at this point, his words deaf to almost all ears. "I'll be waiting~" And with those three words, he was gone, like a phantom in the night. The (H/C) haired girl was left alone, covered in bruises. Purple and red hickeys were now scattered across her neckline like a disease.
The trip home was nothing but a blur. Nothing but the sidewalk and cool night breeze. The moment (Y/N) walked inside and locked the door, she fell down to her knees and let tiny drops of liquid fall descend down her cheeks and platter down onto the wooden floor below. Those few drops soon turned into two small rivers that seemed to fall in a rhythmic motion, as she soon fell into her own pit of despair.
The sound of paper smacking against wood caught her off guard, ending her little crying session. She stumbled to her feet, and looked forward. All that laid before her was another envelope. Exactly like the first, except a small, torn out sheet of a notebook page was taped to the front.
‘Thought this might help. Good luck ~’ Was written on the lined paper, with a small heart drawn in ink drawn near the side. Taking the note and removing it, (Y/N) ripped open the envelope and emptied its contents.
Red and puffy eyes stared down, small sniffles escaping as she saw the multitude of letters that fell out of the wrapping. A deep feeling of annoyance and hopelessness began to bubble in her throat. As much as she knew she was falling into this person's hands, she had to solve this damn puzzle.
“So then the ‘O’ and ‘U’ would go there, making that ‘YOUR’...” (Y/N) mumbled under her breath, her fingers arranging and rearranging the magazine cutouts sprawled out before her. Each minute felt like it took an eternity, each second feeling like a decade of infinite thinking.
But before long, she finished. A grain of anticipation had grown tear-stained and smeared, leaving only a heartbroken feeling as she read the now fully formed words.
“I’LL STEAL YOUR HEART.”
(Y/N)’s mouth went dry, fear quickly replacing any other emotion she could have possibly felt. Before she could even think to call the cops, a red, gloved hand enclosed her mouth, the feeling of sheer cloth covering her mouth.
"Shhhhh, don't scream."
She screamed anyway - mindless, anguished screams tore at her throat as a desperate call for help. Albeit muffled, no one heard her. Either that or no one cared to help. It didn't matter if it was fruitless to struggle, (Y/N) was too angry not to at least try. She thrashed, wanting so badly to hit him, to harm him somehow.
Her attempts were futile. The intruder suddenly turned their free hand into a fist, jagging it into (Y/N)’s stomach.
(Y/N) gasped, a bile feeling rising to the back of her throat. Her stomach ached from the sudden pain. She couldn't breathe. Why couldn't she breathe? She was breathing just a second ago.
“I told you not to scream, darling.”
(Y/N) was too focused on her breath to recognize the man's low and husky voice. She blinked once, then twice. In, and out. In, and out. In, and ou-
"Honestly (Y/N), you’d think you would know better than to disobey someone who just broke into your house.” The trespasser gave a soft yet sadistic smile, taking a few steps back from the women, knowing she was too exhausted to try and escape.
Having finally gained back her breathing, (Y/N) turned to look up at the man before her. Messy black hair and eyes were hidden behind a monochromatic mask. The only pop of color were this blood red gloves.
But that didn’t matter. She knew those eyes. She knew that messy mop of hair. She knew that deep voice. She knew damn well who this was.
(Y/N) gave the man a wide-eyed expression, her pulse accelerating. “Akira?” (Y/N) asked, despite already knowing the answer deep in her heart.
“I prefer to be called Joker, darling.” Joker responded, a triumphant smirk clear across his face.
The (H/C) haired woman wondered what made this 'Joker' persona finally reveal himself to her after what had happened only two weeks ago, but the thought is brief. All she cared about was asking one question: “Why are you here?”
"I'm pretty sure I made that clear back when I tried to break in." He let out a chuckle, as if he were reminiscing over an event that happened years prior. “I love you.”
“Do you really think I could love you, much less even like you, after what you did?” (Y/N) spoke up, trying to hide her cowardness behind a mask made of annoyance and anger. “After everything you've done, nobody would love you."
.
.
.
Silence. That was all that sounded throughout the small room. What was wrong? ‘Why is he so unresponsive? And this strange tension in the air…’ (Y/N) wondered, pursuing her lips, throat dry.
"You don't think I already know that?" Joker’s voice suddenly broke the awkward silence.
"W-what?"
"Of course you wouldn't love me back after the stunt I pulled." He started taking small steps towards the frightened and confused women. "Don't be scared though. I'm not mad at you darling, never was. No no, I was mad at myself. I scared you away, made you afraid of me. And I suppose breaking into your house hasn't helped, has it?" The masked man looked at (Y/N), not caring to comment on her frozen state.
He continued on. "But that doesn't matter now. What matters is that we can be together now, and forget the past."
"It’s like I said, my dear…" Joker spoke, cupping (Y/N)'s chin, forcing her to look up into his eyes. His gray pupils were oozing with lust and greed, a surefire look (Y/N) had wished she could erase from memory.
"You'll never see it coming."
Those were the last words she heard, before a blunt pain registered in her head, and everything promptly turned as black as the inky iris's of his eyes.
The first thing (Y/N) felt when she awoke was a bitter coldness, almost akin to a freezing winter night. Looking down, she saw that she had been stripped naked, the dim lighting making her skin look sallow. Metal scraping against something drew her attention to the far corner of the room, making her realize the door was being opened. Panicked, the (H/C) haired women tried to escape, before realizing sturdy metal chains were wrapped around her wrists.
“So it seems you’re finally awake, my darling.” Akira walked in, his once black eyes now a bright shade of yellow, two noir slits representing his pupils. He was still in the attire he wore before, minus his coat and gloves.
“A-Akira? Why am I here? And what’s with your eyes?” (Y/N) dared to question.
"You're in my palace, (Y/N)." The man ignored the second question, instead shutting the door behind him with a loud creaking noise. "It may seem bad right now, but don't worry. You'll be living a much finer life once you learn to behave."
"What? N-no! What is wrong with you?!” She tried scrambling away, but the metal chain currently attached to her wasn't helping; stuck like a leash on a dog. "Let me out of here, you lunatic!"
Continuing to disregard her hurtful words, the veiled man removed his mask, casting it behind him, leaving the black and white piece of plastic to gather dust. He gave a slight frown.
Without hesitation, Akira tackled her, pinning her to the bed and forcing the women to look at him. He smiled, a wide grin stretched across his face as he stares down at the love of his life. (Y/N) whimpered and twisted in his grip, trying anything she could do to escape.
“Let me show you my love. I’ll show you everything. You won’t think twice of hating me once I'm done.” She grimaced when she felt his hot breath on her outer lips, wincing when he licked his tounge up the length of her sex. (Y/N) whimpered, fighting the pleasure and fear in her mind. It shouldn’t have felt good, but it did and the coils of pleasure in her stomach twisted.
(Y/N) felt his index finger push into her. She couldn’t help but sharply inhale as she flipped her head back. The (E/C) eyed women gripped the edge of the musty mattress, but it didn’t seem to bother the male as he pushed deeper into her. She cursed as she felt herself tense up in pleasure.
All of this went through her mind in an instant, and she stared directly into yellow eyes with growing distress and fear.
“Please no,” she begged. (Y/N) tried to move her hips back away from his fingers. She gritted your teeth, hating how this was actually felt good. He knew just where to touch, stroking the right place against her wall, making her shiver in delight. Her body battled between the warmth of her rushing blood and the coolness of the damp basement.
She shivered as Akira began to pump his finger inside of her. Not long after, he pushed in a second, causing her voice to escape past her lips. He kissed (Y/N)'s jaw, moving up to her ear as he nibbled the shell of it.
But as soon as the pleasure came, it left. The black haired man soon removed his fingers, returning a cold and empty feeling into her hole.
“You really think that would be all I would do? Just simple teasing?” (Y/N) closed her eyes the second she heard the sound of something unzipping, already dreading what was next to come.
(Y/N) whimpered as she felt Akira’s hands grip her hips, and his hot member sliding against her wet folds, dripping dangerously close to sliding in.
“Now this may hurt a little at first.”
Akira didn’t give the women below him a chance to speak, instead sliding his cock against her in one swift motion. He immediately falls into a medium pace, his cock driving in and out of her wet pussy with soft squishing noises.
"Oh f-fuck, Akira…" (Y/N) groaned. She couldn't help it; it felt too good. Maybe for just a few seconds, she could let go...
He loved how quickly she gave up, how quickly she realized that resisting his love was pointless. Her voice was so sweet, like that of a shy little kitten’s. Akira groaned, as he hit a particularly soft spot inside (Y/N), and he soon almost stopped completely when he heat shot straight between his legs as a saccharine noise was made by his darling. His pace quickly became erratic over the feeling of being buried so deep inside of his darling. He dips down to meet her lips again, pulling the dazed women into a messy and wet kiss.
And with one last, sharp, thrust, his hips stilled and his mind blanked completely, a white-hot fire burning the edges of his vision and making his limbs tremble as he emptied himself into her slick, throbbing walls. Akira swore his eyes even rolled back at the unimaginable pleasure.
And it was his orgasm flooding through him that broke his concentration completely, his mind melting from the stimulation.
Akira let out a deep moan as he spilt his hot and sticky load inside of her. He roughly bit and kissed at her neck while he pumped his seed inside of her, making sure to get out every last drop.
He immediately pulled out, leaving (Y/N) helpless as a trail of cum spurt up and down her chest, leaving ropy smears of semen on her breasts before splattering even harder against her lips and chin. She bit back the nausea bubbling in her stomach, whimpering.
(E/C) colored eyes began to water. Sobbing and shivering, (Y/N) sobbed as Akira looked down at her. His smile had returned, wide and full of arousal. His yellow eyes burning with a thousand things as he looked at the woman below him. Excitement and greed and obsession… and maybe a little love.
Akira collapsed by (Y/N)’s side and panted, warm breath ticklish on the shell of her ear.
“God that was… that was amazing.” His voice was soothing, and he strokes her tear stained cheeks with his thumbs. There’s a bit of silence as the two of them lie next to each other on the now stained sheets; one filled with despair, and the other with utter delight.
"And now... you're truly mine, inside and out.” He gave a sigh of total exhaustion, leaving his words to be completely toned out as he fell into a deep slumber. “I love you, (Y/N) (L/N).”
The only sound left in the room were soft cries, intoxicated by a stinging pain she knew would never leave.
