RULES . . . - ̗̀✧

━━━━ triggering content.   i consider myself a mature roleplayer, which means there will be mature themes beyond this point.   themes that might be uncomfortable or even triggering, such as gore, violence, and abuse.   these will be mentioned in a warning above the character or scenario or whatever, so if you read the warning, understand what you're getting into, and proceed anyway, that's your fault.   if you wind up getting upset because you read that one of my characters suffered abuse, but that was mentioned in the warning, don't blame me for your own stupidity.   if you do have certain things that you get triggered about, inform me before the roleplay so that i know what not to include, and i'll give you mine in turn.   but while i do love roleplaying darker and grittier themes, there will be absolutely no detailed scenes of self harm, suicide, or sexual assault.

━━━━ smut && swearing.   swearing is allowed on the condition that you censor things and don't use any slurs, but i really couldn't care less if you say fuck.   smut also doesn't bother me, but i'm rarely in the mood for it.   i'm aromantic and asexual, so for obvious reasons, i'm not going to be interested in roleplaying detailed sex scenes, but if i do happen to be in the mood, we'll take it to private messages.   if you want to know when i'm in the mood, just ask.

━━━━ tagging.   this rule is really quite simple, just don't tag me.   i know some people are fine with it, but i promise you that i'm not one of them.   it's both irritating and unnecessary, because i rarely forget to reply, i'm usually just busy.   busy with life, with school, with finding work — just busy.   however, i do try to get replies out within one day of my roleplay partner responding, and you shouldn't have to wait more than three days at most.   just please refrain from tagging me, because i'll get to you when i get to you, and spamming me certainly won't help encourage me.   i will inform you that my preference is frequent replies, so if you can't get up three in one week, then maybe we're not the best match.   there are obviously some exceptions, but roleplaying is an incredibly enjoyable hobby to me, and waiting on one little promised reply for three weeks is certainly . . . less enjoyable.

━━━━ literacy.   i'm a literate roleplayer only, thus expect you to be one too if you're engaging with this book.   no one liners, no two words, you need to give me something with genuine substance if you want me replying.   five lines is the absolute minimum, but that's only allowed if you've mentioned to me beforehand that you'll be busy and can't manage anything more for awhile.   i want paragraphs upon paragraphs of description.   fill up one whole comment — hell, fill up two.   in addition to that, i seriously hope that i don't have to remind you, but please, for the love of whatever you believe in, write in third person.

━━━━ grammar.   i understand that some people aren't native english speakers, and i really don't mind if you're not, but just do your best.   use autocorrect if you must, or grammarly, but i need your replies to be comprehensible.   one or two mistakes are fine, but anything more than five in one reply and it becomes slightly annoying.   don't use text talk unless the characters are talking or it's outside of the roleplay.   if you're talking outside of the roleplay, use something to indicate that, such as parentheses.   using all lowercase is a stylistic choice i personally use, but obviously you don't have to, just please don't flip flop between uppercase and lowercase letters like you're in the middle of a stroke.   stay consistent.

━━━━ romance.   this is the most important rule, though it might seem insignificant.   if you wish to roleplay in this book, you must submit a male character.   you can obviously still submit and roleplay with a female character, but it's required to tag me in one of your male characters too.   additionally, you can't just send them and never use them.   i roleplay every kind of relationship (though i don't do much mlm), but the rules surrounding them are strict, and unless otherwise specified, i prefer double roleplays.   we can roleplay one wlw relationship, two wlw relationships, a wlw relationship and a mlm relationship (if i'm in the mood), a wlw and a wlm relationship (if you're playing the male), or the standard two wlm relationships.   if you'd prefer to play a non-binary character, that's one hundred percent allowed, but they either have to replace your female character, you play two enby characters, or just one but they interact with my female characters.   don't misinterpret this as me not loving my male characters, because i put just as much effort into making and playing them, i'm just annoyed by people who ignore my female characters in favor of them.   they'll get equal attention from you or we won't be roleplaying.

━━━━ characters.   tag me in your character form so that i can accept it, all kinds of characters are welcome.   however, i expect that your character won't be perfect, seeing as people have flaws, even fictional ones.   if your character is some sweet but sassy, four foot tall slender blonde with big breasts, best assassin the world has ever seen at the ripe age of seventeen, you're out.   additionally, your character is welcome to be more powerful than mine if that makes sense, but no playing god just because you want your character to be special.   and on top of all that, don't traumatize your character to the point that everything becomes triggering to them, because while i love a good sob story, i don't appreciate you hogging the spotlight for the whole roleplay because your character was harmlessly asked out to dinner and decided to bring up their eating disorder randomly.
