"This is your room." Anri said, gesturing to a room at the end of this corridor.

"Thank you Anri, it was very nice of you to show me around."

"Well I did just drag you along the building." She chuckled.

"It's fine, I think I know where everything is. Just lucky the boys were asleep so I did have an uninterrupted tour." I say. "I'm going to bed. I need to get used to this new sleep squedual."

"Oh yes! I understand. You will meet the players in the morning, im not sure how long for. Have a tutor session in the afternoon from 4pm - 6pm. With the rest of your time your free to do whatever but you're not really allowed to leave the building."

"That's fine. Just as long as I get the things I need."

"Great! Goodnight." She says before she walks away. She's very pretty and I was quite jealous and mesmerised by her beauty.

I walk into my room and stare at the plain white walls. "They look like I'm in a mental asylum..." I muttered to myself.

I fall flat on the bed, it wasn't the comfiest but it'll do. I kicked off my shoes and took of my socks, I'm not a monster after all. I quickly fell into a deep sleep, not bothering to get changed.

Time skip♡

I woke up to an alarm set too... 5:30am? Too fucking early in my opinion. I get up with a groan. My clothes were on the chair tucked under the desk. Nothing special really.

I put it on while trying to wake up properly, you expect me to wake up at 5:30 the very first morning I'm here? Quite unrealistic.

So lucky I showered when I got here. Anri said the shower could help me wake up when I got here since I was suffering from jet lag.

I rubbed my eyes awake so now my vision wasn't blurry.

My door opened, I guess I forgot to lock it, and Anri was there with a clipboard in her hands. "Goodmorning." She says, her voice was nice to hear in the early morning.

"How are you so full of energy at this hour?" I ask her while we walked through the corridor to I guess egos office. I heard his voice on the phone so no doubt his face is as ugly as his voice.

"I get up at 4 so i get another hour and half before you wake up to get ready."

"Why would you do that to yourself?"

"It's easy once you get used to it. We're hear. He normally is very grumpy in the morning."

"Cant blame him." I sigh and open the door. "Hello... oh my god, is that the villain from despicable me?"

"That's quite offensive." The guy said. I recognise that voice...

"Are you cosplaying? If so, why a villain? And an ugly one at that."

"This is just what I look like."

"Damn, I feel so bad for you. No wonder you're single at like 40."

"I'm 30."

"You're 30?! You look so much older. Anyways, what's it like being a villain to a villain in a film."

He sighed and looked at his MANY monitors. "Just get to work."

"Well I don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing." I stared at him, waiting for him to explain.

"You're supposed to teach the players how to build soccer from zero."

"Ew, you call it soccer. Only two countries in the world call it soccer so you're quite out numbered."

I could see him press his lips in a thin line before completely dodging the topic. "You'll just be giving them advice."

"You flew me to Japan to give advice? This was not worth the jet lag."

"You'll also be judging them and demonstrating."

"The food here better be good because I'm hungry." I yawned, getting bored of this whole ordeal.

"Yes, it's very good, yet this guy only eats noodles all day."

"Well, that's his issue." I leave the office, slamming the door shut behind me. I head towards the cafeteria. It's 6am so I'll get silence... Well that's what I thought.

There was a guy just sitting there, he looked plain. Although, I wonder how he gets that ahonge to stay up like that. Does he straighten it? Does he curl it? Is it natural?

I heard my stomach growl, no time for judging, just tike for eating. I go up the odd machine. A little version of me? Damn I look gorgeous even as a tiny drawing.

I looked at the food options. There weren't that many but some is better than none right? I picked an omelette. I love omelettes.

I sat down at the guys table. Poking him since he was dozing off. "Don't you have a bed for that?"

"We only have futons on the ground and I'm not tired."

"That's a lie."

"Yeah, you're right. These guys I have to be around snore and sleep in weirdly so i get no personal space. It's more comfortable to sleep here than there." He explained.

"Damn that sucks." I cut my omelette and try it, it was delicious. Anri really wasn't lying. I saw the guy stare and drool at the sight of the food. "What?"

"I just... have only eaten natto for days."

"You can have some if you want. You're an athlete after all and eggs are full of nutrition. I think. I'm not good at food stuff my manager does that crap for me but I ate alot of eggs."

"Manager? Are you a pro?"

"Yep, I'm on the woman's U-20 Germany team. I'm not surprised you don't know who I am-"

"I do know who you are! You're Adeline Engel!" He had shot up from his seat. I just a met a fan boy didn't I?

"Dude, sit down. I'm here to help with this project. Are you a fan or something?"

"Yes, of course I am. You're awesome." His excitement seemed to have died down a bit now.

"Thanks, how do you know me anyways. Not many people watch the woman's teams, let alone the U-20 ones."

"Well you had an interview with Noel Noah so I found out more about you."

"Ooh, that makes sense. Honestly, he's a little too stoic for my type. I prefer guys who are willing to show their emotions."

"What..."

"Sorry, thought you were one of the gay fan boys for a sec. Do you... want to br like Noel Noah?"

"I do! I grew up idolising him." Not gonna lie, thats kinda adorable that he's so committed.

"I grew up... kicking balls over fences. I didn't really do much else. That's where my passion for football came from."

"Oh. I also have a question... you're German... so why do you know Japanese?"

"I'm not completely fluent yet, I'm so close to it though. I learn most languages so I'm able to speak to the people I'm defeating."

"How do you remember all of that?"

"No clue, that's like asking how I did my most famous goal. I tried it and got lucky."

"That's... not how soccer works." He sounded confused.

"Football, and it is. Everytime you're on the field luck is a main component. Of course skill, your best ability ect. But luck is important. There's a split chance that you get what your opponents trying to do, or you get it all wrong and lose. The risk is a high chance that most players don't utilise. If you can't guess right what they're going to do that means they can't guess right on what you're going to do unless they have luck. Understand?"

"Sort of?"

"So basically if you can assume things and get it wrong, so can they. You just have to be discreet about your moves and they'll be as useless as you are."

"That makes alot of sense."

"I know, because I'm smarter than alot of people. What's your name anyways? I'm giving advice to a stranger."

"It's Yoichi Isagi."

"Can I call you Yoichi? I know in Japan that you don't call people by their first names immediately but I'm still getting used to that."

"Then you can call me Yoichi." His smiles cute...

"Then you can call me by my first name aswell."
