'Pretty.'

Ever since last night he couldn't get the image out of his head. He knew what he had said by accident and now he was avoiding me. He had for two days straight but I eventually found him.

He remembered the blush that spread over my cheeks after he called me darling.

"Yoichi!" I yelled from the other side of the hallway, he turned and looked at me before sprinting away. "Stop doing that! I may be fast but I have awful stamina!"

He didn't stop and kept running he bumped into his lively and hallucinative best friend. He stopped for a moment but realised I was still chasing and started running again.

I turned the corner and saw him and ran after him again. "Come back here Yoichi! Is it because I looked like a rat while sick?!"

He paused and turned over to my sad face at the end of the corridor. "You didn't look ugly..."

"Then why do you keep running?!"

"What's this?~"

Isagis blood ran cold in embarrassment. Realising this could all be seen by his best friend.

I turned to the guy behind me. He had a Bob with yellow streaks. "Hello?"

"Hello! Are you a friend of Isagis?"

"Apparently not." I glared at the blue haired male. "Anyways I'm Adeline Engel it's nice to meet you." I hold out my hand."

"It's nice to meet you too! I'm Meguru Bachira. You're very cute miss~" He shakes my hand in excitement.

"Thank you so much!"

I had my back turned to Yoichi so I couldn't see the obvious scowl on his face. His glare could kill.

'Don't call her cute... only I can call her cute...'

"Anyways, I'm going to get back to what I was doing. So..." I stopped talking and ran to my blue haired friend at the end of the hallway who also began running again.

He managed to get to his dorm and slam the door behind him.

"Don't slam the door!"
"You made me lose..."
"Isagi why do you look like there's a murderer chasing you?"

He stared at his teammates, they all seemed bothered by his actions which definitely wasn't good. He groaned but remembered what he was doing and held the door shut.

I knocked on the door. I whispered multiple curses at him in German. I decided to vocalise my annoyance in the end. "You bastard! Come out here before I slit your throat!"

"No..."

My eye twitched and I started to pry the door open. I managed to get my nails in and eventually got my fingers through. "Open it and I'll spare your goddamn life Yoichi..."

"Stop chasing me!"
"Then stop running!"

His teammates looked at him confused as the sweat drips from his face.

"Isagi, who are you running from─"

I pried the door open and as soon as I got in I grabbed Yoichi by the jaw and glared at him. "You bastard. I hate you so much."

"I'm sorry─"

"I don't want to hear your apologies I want you to stop running from me." I looked over at him teammates. I smiled at them, I still had one hand holding my friends jaw though. "Oh my apologies! It's nice to meet you all."

"Let go of my face, please?
"No, fuck you."

I then dragged him out of the room while yelling curses at him. "So... why're you running?"

"Well, I, I don't know." He was too embarrassed to say the actual reason but this may have been worse.

"You don't know?! That's ridiculous. I want the truth. Is it because I was clingy last night? Did I do something weird in my sleep?"

"It's not that at all!" He rejected all my possible answers, he needed to come up with an excuse that would leave us both without embarrassment.

"Then what?" I let go of his face and crossed my arms over my chest.

He eventually decided to just tell me the truth but looked to the side while he said it. "I called you something last night... I, um..."

"Oh. That. Why's that embarrassing?"

His head snapped back to look at me. He seemed surprised. "Because I called you darling! We're just friends so that's weird!"

"So? If you wanna be more than friends I'm up for it." I treated with a mocking smirk.

This made his face heat up even more and he started waving his hands about. "No! Stop teasing me!"

"HAHAHAHAHA!!" I held my stomach as I laughed at his stupid face. "YOU'RE SO FUNNY."

"What?"

"Oh my god, your hilarious. But genuinely I don't mind dear, call me whatever you wish." His face heated up as I called him dear. Oh my, he was so adorable.

"Okay..."

"Good."
