The next day,Suyeon was walking on clouds. A constantly rising and falling smile on her lips,eyes all dreamy as she skipped her way through the halls of her school-getting a few side eyes from everyone passing by in the process.

"Hey,what's up with you today?All smiley and giggly?" Her best friend Hana asked,crossing her arms and leaning against the lockers next to Suyeons as she watched the girl taking her books out,that smile never leaving her face.

"Oh me?" Suyeon asked placing a hand over her chest "I'm always this happy" She said waving her hand at her,making the latter squit her eyes.

"Yeah...I know but today...it seems a little...odd" Hana commented eyeing her up and down.

"Oh nonsense...I'm fine as always Hana" She brushes it off,closing her locker and began to walk to their class,Hana following behind her,still suspicious.

"Don't tell me something happened with that Aussie of yours" Her words made Suyeon stop in track,her heart beat fast at the last few words. A smile slowly crept UpTo her face again as she tried to purse her lips and hide her expression. Suyeon turned around facing her friend "He is my Aussie alright" She said blushing even more and stomped her feet in place remembering last night's events.

Hana stood there, unaware of what's happening as she just blinked at her best friend acting out of character.

"Cringe...okay but what exactly happened may I ask?" She grabbed Suyeons arm and walked side by side to their class,the latter continuing her act of smiling again and again.

"Oh you know~" Suyeon started the moment she sat down as Hana took the seat Infront of her,listening with curiosity.

"No Suyeon, I don't know..." She said rolling her eyes at her delusional best friend "That's why I'm asking you right now"

"Well..." She began,making Hana more intrigued as she watched with glistening eyes "For starters..."

"Uh-huh uh-huh" Hana waited for her to continue impatiently. Suyeon smiled again,blushing making Hana sigh with annoyance.

"Okay okay...well...for starters...he called me princess...which at first I cringed at but later realized how cute it is. He even saved my contact like that" Suyeons words made her friend sigh again,feeling a weird sensation of loneliness "mhm mhm and?"

"He called me and said...I love you" She giggled while her friends express fell,eyes wide open and mouth hanging. The latter laughed at her friend with amusement. Hana tried blinking her eyes,not being able to comprehend what she just heard.

"Hey close your mouth or else an insect will fly in" she said closing her friends jaw. She shook her head,snapping out if her thoughts.

"Girl...you have got to be kidding me...." Hana said,still in disbelief.

"I know I know,even I couldn't handle it at that moment. Gosh I have no words to describe how I felt at that moment. I...I was so happy and like everything felt like a blur and only his words stuck in my head" She rambled on and his her blushing red face in her hands "Eeeeekkkk Hana I want him so bad~" She said kicking her feet.

"He's so...my god I swear I have no words...he's so...amazing...just...so dreamy and... nothing I ever thought would happen to me..." She went on and on about him,her heart beating fast against her rib cage as she imagined him over and over.

Meanwhile her single friend just listened to her with a sappy expression,sniffling fakely "mhm yeah keep going,oh me? Don't worry I'm just single" She said before fake crying.

"Hey don't be like that,you'll find the guy for you some day sooner or later...I just found mine now..."She smiled again.

Hannas expression went neutral at her words. Not showing any reaction and she noticed it "Hey, what's with that face?"

"H-huh? Uh nothing" Hana tried to brush it off with a small smile but Suyeon knew her best friend more than anyone. She squinted her eyes at her suspiciously "come on,spit it out...you know you can't hide anything from me" Hana knew she was able to read her like an open book and it was to her disadvantage.

She sighed,preparing herself to whatever is to happen next "No..its just... I'm worried of you...that's all...if I was you I wouldn't trust some random guy so easily...we live in such a messed up generation. I'm worried like,what if he suddenly just... disappears? You're a sensitive girl,and feeling his absence would leave a dent for sure. Not to mention this is ur first... thing with a guy..."

Suyeon didn't know anything else to listen to her,she knew she was right. She accepted it but she chose to ignore it,to not remember that at all "Right...you are right...but...I don't think I could just shut my feelings now though..." She said looking down.

"I know...all I'm saying is,just be careful alright? Stay strong no matter what happened. I'll always be there if something goes wrong" Hana said reaching her hand out to pat her head and smiled softly. Suyeon went speechless,not knowing what to say and just smiled back. Soon enough they changed the topic and went on with it.

But whilst she was conversing about something else,her mind was still at her friends words...

'what if he actually left me? Is he fooling me? What would happen to me?'

"So... you're really serious about this...girl?" Jay asked suddenly from the kitchen counter while chopping down vegetables,Jake was at the island scrolling through his phone when he turned his head to him at his flat tone.

"Uh yeah...why do you sound like that jay?" He chuckled lightly,nervous of why he sounds so calm.

"Nothing" He sighed "Just that,she's a high schooler...and...if you suddenly lose feelings she'd be left devastated, same thing with her leaving you" He said stopping his actions and turned around.

"What I'm tryna say here is,don't play with each other's feelings. If there's any issue just speak up about it,don't keep it to yourself" Jay said crossing his arms over his chest and leaned on the counter.

"I know...I know...My feelings for her are real,I know that and I don't plan on losing her or letting her leave,I know she's worth it" Jake smiled, remembering the very first time they texted;not once had it crossed his mind that something like that would've ended up like this "What made you ask me something like that out of the blue?"

Jake was concerned,just a few days ago his friend was teasing him about it and suddenly he's stern about the topic.

"Nevermind,it's nothing...as long as you're sure it's serious" Jay sighed, brushing it off and turned around to go back to chopping the vegetables. Jake didn't want to let this slide,not when his friend made it sound so flat. He stood up,going around the kitchen island and stood behind him,making jay face him.

"You tryna hide it is only gonna make me feel anxious and worried,just spit it out whatever it is" Jake said waiting for an explanation.

"No need for that,I don't want to cause problems between you and Suyeon" Jay tried to go back to his work when Jake interrupted again.

"Don't be like that Jay! What is it? What made you say that? I need to know-" He was getting more and more frustrated at how the latter did not budge and kept on resisting untill he suddenly said it.

"It's Hera" Jay said raising his tone,mad at how Jake was pressuring him but it was reasonable "She's trying to sneak her way back to you...again"

Jake blinked his eyes,letting his words sink in and watched the other send a hand through his hair with a heavy sigh "What do you mean...again? We never were a thing Jay...you know that more than anyone else...She was just obsessed with making it to the picture"

"Yeah exactly; she's back in Seoul after her 3 year stay at Ireland and you have a shoot to attend in 2 weeks" Jay said crossing his arms.

"So? She probably must've moved on by now. What's there to worry about?" The Aussie shrugged.

"

What there to worry about? Oh I don't know? Maybe she could cause another scene?" His friend said in a sarcastic tone at his oblivious statement.

"I don't care about her,she has nothing on me and all I have to do is just have a bodyguard with me when I'm stepping out and that's it" Jake said as if it was a piece of cake. The American scoffed in disbelief of how chill he was.

"You don't understand...We barely saved you back then from her keeping tabs on you and you're taking this so lightly?"

"What could you expect from being a famous face Jay? You yourself know what it feels like to be the face of a daily magazine. This is normal for us,we can't stop that. The only solution is to put up with it and avoid it till it's gone" Every work that fell out of Jakes mouth only pained it even more for him,made him question himself as to why he chose such ambition in the first place,knowing how hectic it could be.

Hera was one of Jake's childhood friends,well more like classmates from Australia who had a crush on him since day 1. She confessed her feelings once in middle school but he rejected her,kindly making her understand his reasons but once he made a debut in Korea after few years,she flew over to him and confessed again after his fame skyrocket only to be rejected again. Yet she didn't give up and kept on bothering him so much,it became a headache for everyone untill he went on a hiatus for a while till she changed directions and went aborad.

"Look,I don't care about her. If she approaches me again,the answer is still going to be a no. I have Suyeon now and I know I love her and that I'm dead serious about my feelings...I don't want to lose her...that's it."
