Imagine this: Rhea, Aditya, and Aria have just left in the jet, while the cars they arrived in are parked at the airport, having served their purpose of bidding them farewell. ✈️🚗
After bidding farewell to Rhea, Adi, and Aria at the airport, the group made their way back home. Haris and Fiza traveled together in one car, while Raghav and Anaya were in another. They had planned for Raghav and Anaya to leave for Mumbai about an hour after the others had departed. Upon arriving at Raghav's house, where they were to prepare for their journey, they found their bags packed and ready in the hall.
Kaki brought them cups of coffee as they gathered in the living room, discussing their plans. The conversation turned serious as they talked about Raghav and Anaya taking care of Anaya's father.
Fiza, in her usual playful yet earnest tone, warned, "Raghav, you better take good care of Anaya. If anything happens to her, I'll beat you up so badly you'll become a ghost."
Haris and Raghav, both sipping their coffee, exchanged glances, remembering a similar warning Haris had once given to Raghav. Haris laughed, and Fiza, noticing, asked, "Did I say something funny?"
Anaya, curious, turned to Haris and asked, "Haris bhai, why are you laughing? And Raghav, why do you look so shocked?"
Haris quickly replied, "Oh, nothing, just remembered something. Please continue."
Fiza nodded, "Okay, sure."
Anaya, still curious, turned to Fiza, "By the way, Di, I wanted to ask you something."
"Yes, go ahead," Fiza replied, as Haris and Raghav listened intently.
Anaya asked, "When did you learn to fight? I mean, you fight so well. That day, the way you dealt with those goons... right, Raghav?"
Raghav nodded, "Of course! Fiza, you were like a lioness. Right, Haris?"
Haris, gulping again, thought to himself, He's always making fun of me, and shot a look at Raghav, who smirked back. "I'll deal with you later," Haris muttered, and Raghav responded, "We'll see."
Anaya, noticing the exchange, asked, "Haris bhai, why did you go quiet?"
Haris quickly responded, "Well, Fiza, where did you learn such great fighting skills?"
Fiza smiled, "Rhea taught me."
Everyone in the room was taken aback. "What? Rhea?" they exclaimed in unison.
Anaya, incredulous, asked, "Di, aap sach bol rahi ho? Fir Rhea di wahan se bhag kyun rahi thi ye keh ke agar apne dekh liya to woh marenge?"
Fiza explained, "Maine pitayi ki tabhi woh zinda hai. Agar Rhea ne ki hoti to shayad nahi hote. Isliye bhag rahi thi."
Raghav and Haris were even more puzzled. "What?" they said again.
Raghav continued, "Ye kaise possible? Woh to itni shant shant lagti hai."
Fiza laughed at their confusion. "Ye ab hui hai shant. School time se hi jaanti hai fights karna, boxing, karate-ye sabki champion thi. IPS join hona tha usko aur usse bhi pehle soldier ban na tha. But then uski mumma ka soch ke she thought of IPS, her dream, her life jiske liye usne bachpan se practice ki thi. I regret ki ye sab usne mere liye chhod diya."
Haris, Raghav, and Anaya looked at each other, trying to process this new information. "Par kyun?" they asked.
Fiza sighed, her voice tinged with sadness. "Main jab apni studies complete karke yahan aayi, to mujhe job bilkul nahi karni thi. I wanted to build an empire, and seeing me struggle, she supported me at my worst and left her only dream for me, to make my dream come true. Woh sach mein bahut achhi hai, meri jaan basti hai usme. Jis tarah usne sacrifice kiya hai mere liye, waise koi kabhi nahi kar sakta. Isliye I want ki main uske chote chote so jo dreams hain woh saare pure karu. I still cry and regret for the decision Rhea had taken. Rhea har baar kehti ki 'Fiza, you are living your dream means like I am living my dream. Yaar tu roya mat kar na, meri jaan, please.' I am really too lucky to have her."
Anaya, moved, said, "Aww, didu," and leaned in to hug her sister. Haris and Raghav also expressed their support, "Yes, she's right. Please don't cry."
Fiza smiled through her tears, "Ok, ok, I won't."
Anaya then asked, "Par didu, maine suna tha gigs se ki aap dono ek din bhi ek dusre ke bagair nahi reh sakte. Fir aaj jab wo gayi..."
Cutting her off, Fiza said, "I know, main bohot miss karungi usse. Lekin ab uske life partner ke beech to nahi jaa sakti na," she laughed, then continued, "Agar wo gayi bhi hai, to pakka tum teeno mein se kisi ko bola hoga usne mera dhyaan rakhne ko. And if she trusts that person, then so do I."
Haris, knowing he was the one Rhea had trusted, smiled warmly, feeling the weight of the responsibility she had placed on him.
As it was nearly time for Raghav and Anaya to leave, they bid farewell to Haris and Fiza. Before departing, Raghav instructed his PA to lock the house once Haris and Fiza had left. Turning to Fiza, he said, "Fiza, I've informed Dad that you're coming over."
Fiza responded, "Oh, but why bother Uncle? Haris and I could have stayed at a hotel."
Raghav shook his head, smiling, "If I had let you stay in a hotel again, Dad would have beaten me with his slipper. When I told him we were leaving to mumbai, he asked about you and said that you can stay in our house back in delhi. Plus, Shreya di is also there. You should definitely meet her."
Fiza's face lit up with excitement, "Really? Then I have to go!"
Anaya and Haris looked puzzled, and Raghav explained, "Yeah, she gets excited just hearing about Shreya di. They're crime partners from way back. I won't forget what you two did," he added, pretending to cry, which made everyone laugh.
"Ha ha, okay, we'll see," Fiza replied, smiling.
Curious, Anaya asked, "What happened, Di?"
Raghav, looking a bit irritated, said, "Oh, meri maa not this story again. You can hear it some other time. Now let's go, it's almost time for our flight."
Fiza chuckled, "Alright, I'll tell you the full story later."
As Raghav and Anaya were leaving, Fiza joked, "Raghav, will I have to jump off the roof of my father's house again?"
Imagine this: Raghav and Anaya are about to board their jet to Mumbai.✈️
Fiza and Haris then headed to Delhi, making their way to Mr. Roy's mansion in a car.
Leaning back in my seat, I closed my eyes, feeling the day's exhaustion settle over me. The gentle hum of the car and its steady motion almost lulled me to sleep, but I wasn't quite there yet. As I listened to the quiet, I heard Haris shifting slightly beside me. Then, unexpectedly, he began to speak, his voice soft and thoughtful.
"Fiza, you're always so strong, taking care of everyone around you," he said. "Even when things get tough, you never show it. Sometimes I wonder if you let yourself lean on others, or if you think you have to handle everything on your own."
Hearing Haris say this, I felt a warmth spread through my chest. I had always tried to be the strong one, the one others could depend on. But knowing Haris noticed this about me, and cared enough to mention it, made me feel seen in a way I hadn't before. I kept my eyes closed, pretending to be asleep, not wanting to break the moment.
He continued, "I just want to see you happy, truly happy. And if anyone ever hurts you, they'd have to deal with me first."
A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips. It was touching to hear such protectiveness and care in his voice. I hadn't expected this side of Haris, and it made me appreciate him even more. His words were unexpected but comforting, making me feel safe and valued.
As the car continued on towards Mr. Roy's mansion, I felt a deeper connection with Haris. His words stayed with me, a reminder that even though I often tried to shoulder everything on my own, I had friends who cared for me deeply and were there to support me. It was a comforting realization, and one that I decided to keep close to my heart.
