Haris Zaidi is a 6'2" tall, handsome, and charming heart surgeon.
Author's POV
Haris Zaidi stepped out of the bustling hospital corridor, his tall and imposing figure setting him apart. Basking in the satisfaction of a successful surgery, he made his way towards the exit. Outside, a gleaming car awaited him, where his loyal friend, Aditya Verma, impatiently waited to greet him.
Asha, his close friend known for her playful banter, smiled as she caught sight of him. "Offo, where are you off to, hero?" she quipped, mischief twinkling in her eyes.
I chuckled with a hint of reluctance, "Nowhere, just heading out. If you want, you can tag along," I replied, playfully.
Asha, with a dramatic sigh, said, "No way, I can't come. What's the use of flirting now? I'm already engaged," with a faint smile playing on her lips.
With a mischievous glint in my eyes, I retorted, "And that's precisely why I flirted, so you'd burn," I said, with a playful smirk.
Asha shot me a mock glare, "I'll kill you! Where are you running off to?" But I dashed away from there, laughing.
As I signed out at the counter, the receptionist looked at me with curiosity, "So many girls swoon over you, yet you're still single. Why?" There was a mix of wonder and amusement in her voice.
I smiled sorrowfully, "I haven't found the right one yet," I said, with a tinge of unhappiness.
Outside, Aditya impatiently awaited me by his gleaming car. "Took you long enough," he teased, with a playful twinkle in his eyes.
Seated in the passenger seat, I smiled and apologized, "Sorry, had to deal with some fans. So, what's the plan?" My voice was filled with excitement.
Aditya grinned mischievously, "Whom are you interested in? Who's your type?" he asked, with a twinkle in his eye.
Leaning back comfortably, I was ready to share my thoughts with my friend. "You drive, I'll tell you," I said, eager anticipation in my eyes.
Aditya chuckled, "Alright, but start talking while we're on the move, you scoundrel," with a playful smile.
As we started our journey, I launched into a heartfelt monologue. "I want a girl who can make the world stop just by looking at her. Beautiful, charming, and a bit feisty. And you're coming along, too, because I'll need someone to handle the tantrums," I said, with a dreamy expression.
Aditya chuckled, shaking his head. "Dreaming again, huh? Focus on reality, man."
I cut him off, a determined look in my eyes. "By the way, where are we going?" I asked, changing the subject.
Aditya grinned mischievously. "To meet your dream girl," he teased.
I rolled my eyes but couldn't hide the smile that tugged at my lips. "Stop kidding around," I said, but there was a hint of excitement in my voice.
Aditya relented, explaining, "We're going to meet a company that's ready to donate to our organization. But remember, no drama this time. Last time, you made a scene. Their boss is very strict, and I don't want any trouble."
My voice tinged with anger, I said, "I wasn't causing any drama! That old man was saying such wrong things about our organization. How could I just sit there quietly?"
Aditya tried to calm me down, "Okay, okay, calm down. Just promise me you won't mess it up."
I relented, "Alright, I won't mess it up. Let's go, I'm ready."
When we arrived outside the company, Aditya instructed me to get out. "We're here," he said.
I smiled at the splendid building, "Wow, what a company! The interiors and exteriors are magnificent. Looks like they've spared no expense," I said, in awe.
Aditya nodded in agreement, "It's one of the top designing companies. Now, let's go," he said, urging me to step out.
With a sense of anticipation, I exited the car, my eyes scanning the impressive surroundings. "Such a grand place," I murmured to myself.
As we made our way towards the entrance, Aditya reminded me, "Remember, no goofing around this time. We need their support," his voice filled with determination.
I nodded solemnly, "I got it, no drama. Let's do this," I said, my resolve evident in my tone.
Together, we entered the company premises, ready to embark on our mission.
"Haris Zaidi, unaware that he's soon going to meet the love of his life, Fiza Qazi, the girl he had only dreamt about, is about to have his dreams come true."
Fiza Qazi is a 5'5" tall woman, known for her beauty and Business Intellect.
As they entered the office building, they were guided to the top floor through the lift. Haris was once again shocked by the fabulous interior of the lift. When they reached the office room, they heard a loud voice. Fiza was shouting at an employee named Anaya.
I raised my voice, my frustration boiling over. "Where is the design, Anaya?"
"I am sorry, ma'am. The design is not yet ready. I know I am late," Anaya replied meekly.
I cut her off sharply, unable to contain my irritation. "Oh, you know you're late, but you haven't completed the work yet? How can you be such an idiot? Don't you have any sense that you need to do your work on time? Competitions are on the way, and I am getting such silly excuses. Now just get lost and complete it by tonight, and no excuses again."
Anaya left with a sad face, clearly affected by the scolding. Her colleagues looked on, hearing everything. I turned to the worker nearby. "Call Gurpreet ma'am," I instructed.
"Ma'am, someone is here to meet you. They were talking about some organization donation," the worker informed me.
"Oh yeah, send them in. And just call Gurpreet ma'am," I replied, still feeling the frustration lingering.
(Autho's POV : Meanwhile, Haris and Aditya entered. Haris was a bit surprised to see her. She really had a pretty face, but she was rude and arrogant. Aditya, on the other hand, was drawn by the beauty of Fiza's friend, Rhea, who had messaged him for the meeting.)
Gurpreet entered shortly after and immediately questioned me. "Fiza, why did you shout at her? You know she is a good designer."
"I know, ma'am, but you know we have to be a bit strict with the freshers so they can grow further. I agree the design done by her is the best, but how can she be so careless that the design is not yet ready? Please just make her understand that to stand out from everyone, you need to work hard. And take a look at all the designs of them. The competition is very near, and you know very well that I can't lose to them. Just ask everyone to focus," I explained, trying to convey the urgency of the situation.
Gurpreet nodded, understanding my perspective. "I will do that. But what's disturbing me is that when you are so serious about the competition, why do you hire freshers?"
"Because I don't want their dreams to be thrashed out like mine did a few years ago. I want them to shine and stand out from everyone," I replied passionately.
Meanwhile, overhearing their conversation, I felt a bit confused about her character. Was she really arrogant, or was there more to her than met the eye?
"Am I judging her too quickly? Ah, leave it. I guess it will take time for me to understand her," I thought to myself, shaking off my confusion.
