Though it was Taemin's idea to keep it a secret, Moonbyul couldn't help but needing to talk to someone else about it. Chen knew about the proposal. He was the only one who knew about it, as far as she's concerned.

But she needed to release this stress of keeping this under wraps to someone else.

Later that day, Moonbyul met up with Jisoo and Iris at a coffee shop near Jisoo's house for lunch. She had to tell them. They were her best friends.

Moonbyul was both happy and yet overwhelmed by the engagement. She was happy because she was ready to spend the rest of her life with Taemin, considering the stuff they've been through.

The stuff she had put him through, the fact that for a while she had been scared to let anyone into her heart after Kris and Luhan. Even Sik K.

The fact that Taemin stuck around even after all of that, made her realize that she loved him more than she let on in the begining. She was ready for this. But she was feeling overwhelmed and nervous.

Why? She didn't know. Maybe it was just cold feet. Maybe it was something else.

"Hey, girls." Moon greeted, quickly walking over to the table they sat at. "Sorry if I'm late. Traffic is the worst around this time."

Jisoo and Iris both greeted her with a smile.

"Hey, unnie!" The blue eyed singer beamed, wearing a very pretty floral mini dress on. Her black hair fell all around her in soft waves.

Iris was wearing a very beautiful burgundy dress, her hair in a messy low bun. Ever since she cut bangs into her hair, she looked even better. At least to Moon, she does.

"You're okay, Moon-ah." Iris promised, waving her hand dismissively. "I just got here, myself."

Moon sighed, sitting down. Placing her purse on the table, she took a deep breath.

"So, how have you all been?"

"Taeyong and I are planning a trip to Yeongjondo Island soon." Jisoo said, sipping her ice coffee. "Before he goes back on your with NCT. I'm nervous, actually."

"Is this about what we've talked about last week?" Iris asked, wiggling her eyebrows at her.

Last week, the three went to lunch together where Jisoo mentioned that she wanted to give her v card to Taeyong. And she needed advice from her two experienced friends beforehand.

She turned pink, making the two older girls laugh at her. "Seriously?"

"Unnie's only playing, Jiji." Iris laughed out, patting her head.

"Besides, you've known Taeyong longer than you've dated him. " Moon added. "You know he's a great guy. If you're ready, go for it."

"And wear protection."

Again, Jisoo turned very red. Making them laugh again. Jisoo was so innocent when it came to topics like this. It was cute to Moon and Iris.

"W-What about you, Iris-unnie?" Jisoo asked, adverting the attention to her. "Have you told Mark how you felt yet? Since we're on the topic of boyfriends."

Iris and Mark Tuan had a sort of complicated relationship. The feelings were evident. Even to a point where the members of Got7 have tried numerous times to get them together. But both are very stubborn beings.

Iris sighed, letting her head fall. "I do not want to talk about that, please!"

"Why not? You two are perfect for each other." Moon said, leaning on her hand. "What's stopping you?"

"I guess I'm just waiting for the right time." She shrugged, fiddling with her mug. "What about you and Taemin, Moon-ah? You came on glowing."

Moon took a deep breath again. She knew this was coming. She had to tell them. Even though she was technically breaking their promise again but that was why she came. To vent to them.

"Yeah, about that. . . ." She mumbled, rubbing her neck sheepishly.

Iris and Jisoo looked at each other. The way she looked away made it seem like something bad happened. Yet again.

They have been following their relationship problems and such for a while. They hoped that nothing else bad happened again. Taemin genuinely loved Moonbyul.

And she loved him back.

"I have something to show you but you have to promise not to say anything at all to anyone."

"Are you pregnant?" Jisoo questioned, nearly gasping.

Iris followed with a worries look. "No way, you're pregnant."

Moon looked at the both of them as if they've grown four heads. These crazy girls.

"What!? No! I'm not pregnant!" She denied. "Just look!"

Moon showed them her marital finger. Her engagement ring gleaming under the light.

She could have sworn she saw both of their eyes nearly pop out their heads as they looked at the ring.

"Is this what I think this is?" Iris whispered, slowly smiling.

Moon grinned happily, pulling her hand back. " Yeah. . . He proposed to me."

Jisoo covered her mouth, very ready to scream. But she could've because they weren't alone at the moment.

"Oh my god!" She squealed, shaking her fist excitedly. "You're getting married!"

Moon chuckled. She shook her head, looking at her finger fondly. But that smile soon disappeared and worry settled in.

"Yeah. . . I am."

Iris caught the look she held. It did not go unnoticed by the Samoan. She knew Moon long enough to know what she was really feeling.

"And you're happy about it, right?"

"I'm happy." She reassured truthfully. "I'm very happy."

"But?"

". . . . I don't know." Moon shrugged. "I am happy and I am sure about this but. . . . I guess I'm worried about how the boy's would react. . . . I'm more worried about having to hide the ring from the public."

"Yeah." Jisoo agreed. "Dispatch has been on it lately. They're the reason Mark and Sunmi are going through a rough patch right now."

Moon and Iris winced at her words. After Dispatch leaked photos of Mark and Sunmi being together, SM was forced to confirm their relationship.

Mark had been so stressed lately about NCT, family, being homesick and everything that he shut everyone out.

In result, he snapped at Sunmi. Which started a fight between them. Now, Sunmi refuses to talk to him until he calms down.

There had been many times Moon caught Sunmi crying in the lounge room at the SM building. She hoped everything worked out soon but it seems like she's avoiding him right now.

It has gotten to a point where she is staying at Jisoo's house, instead of the dorm like usual.

But seeing them like that only made Moon more nervous and scared. What if the media found out about their engagement? Will the same thing happen?

Will her and Taemin go through their fourth rough patch? That only added more stress to her.

Especially since Chen is getting married and is now planning it.

Everything was scary right now.

"How is Sunmi, by the way?" Iris asked, concerned.

"She's ok now." Jisoo answered, pursing her lips. "Taeyong had been asking me about her none stop lately. He's worried about her. Everyone in the group is worried about her."

"How's Mark doing?" Moon asked. "I tried talking to him but he just changes the subject."

"From what Jaehyun has told Jungkook, he's not any better. He's been distant, sad and angry. Mostly at himself."

"You're worried about the same thing happening to you, huh?" Iris said, turning to Moon.

Moon ran her fingers through her hair, leaning back on her chair.

"I see everything happening around me and I can't help but be worried about our relationship again." She confessed. "Like. . . . What if something like this happens? I don't want to ever take off this ring just to hide it.

"But I also don't want to tell people yet because this might also cause controversy. Especially with Chen getting married. . . . The group has been through enough, I don't want to add on any more."

"Those boys love you, Moonsie." Iris said, placing a hand on her hand. "Nothing you say or do will ever cause them grief. I'm sure if you did tell them, they'll be just as happy."

She couldn't argue with that. When she told Chen, he nearly did backflips in his living room. His fiance had to tell him to calm down.

Maybe she was mostly worried about it being leaked. Before they were ready to tell everyone.

"Besides, you can always hide it by wearing midi rings." Jisoo suggested. "You can wear the ring proudly and still look stylish."

Moon smiled at her. Jisoo was always such a clever kid.

"That's probably the smartest thing you have ever said in a long time."

Jisoo smacked her arm for teasing her while Iris laughed.

"But in all seriousness, Moon, if you need support for when you are ready to tell the guys, we'll be here for you."

"Right, no matter the distance." Jisoo added, grabbing her other hand.

Moon smiled at the two gratefully. She was so happy to know that she had friends who were there for her.

And she was happy to know she wasn't alone in this.
