It was a strange day, indeed. What made it strange, you may ask. Well, for starters, Jungkook almost ran over Jisoo because she kept zooming back and forward in the whole dorm like a mad man.

And each time she exited her room, she was dressed in something different and her hair was done. Her make up looked perfect and now, she was running around looking for her shoes.

It was weird because Jisoo would have told them if she was going somewhere. But she didn't. In fact, she had been rather secretive as of late and the boys all seemed to wonder why.

She would always smile at her phone, always excuse herself whenever she got a phone call and during group activities. She also had been looking at the clock every five seconds as if she was excited about something.

It was weird behavior, indeed.

"Jin oppa, have you seen my shoes?" She asked in a hurry.

Jin, without looking up from his book, answered her calmly. "In your room, sweetie."

Jungkook watched from the kitchen counter as she ran to her room. What's gotten into her?

Taehyung walked in with Jimin behind him. "Anyone know where Jisoo is off to?" He asked, waling over to the counter.

"I don't know." Jungkook said. "She's been like this for about 3 hours now. It went from 'wheres my top?' to 'wheres my shoes?'"

"That's weird, she would tell us if she's going anywhere." Jimin mumbled, helping himself to a glass of juice.

Not too long after, Yoongi walked in, looking just as curious. "Anyone knows what's with Jisoo?"

"Join the club." Jimin said deadpanned.

"I don't think anyone knows what's going on." Taehyung added.

Yoongi was about to say something when Jisoo sped her way in to the room, almost running into Hoseok and Namjoon in the process.

"Whoa!" Namjoon paused, making sure she didn't fall.

"Sorry oppa," she apologized quickly before turning back to Jin. "Have you seen my purse? The small black one?"

Again, without looking up from his book, Jin calmly answered her. "You left it in my room, sweetie."

Jisoo ran passed the two and back into the hallway.

"What was that?" Namjoon asked, walking towards the counter.

Yoongi shrugged. "Beats me, she's been rather secretive all day."

"She's been like this for like a week now." Hoseok pointed out. Making everyone think about it.

She has been like this for a week now. And it kind of bothered everyone but Jin.

"Anyone notice Jin is the only calm one about it?" Jungkook whispered, glancing at the hyung reading on the couch.

"I noticed that too." Jimin whispered.

The boys all glanced at jin, whose face was covered by the book he was reading.

"Should we make him tell us where she's going?" Hoseok asked.

"What if he doesn't tell us?" Jungkook whispered back.

"Worth a shot." Najoon said. "He's too calm about this."

With nods of agreement, the small group nonchalantly walked over to Jin. Jin could hear their footsteps and he heard what they were saying about him. He had to hold back a small laugh as he kept reading.

"Hyung?" Jungkook called out, sitting next to him. "Hyung...can we ask you something?"

"Yes, kookie, you can." He replied in the same time, not leaving his book unread.

"Do you know why Jisoo has been acting weird?" Yoongi asked.

"Yes I do." He replied.

"Do you know who she had been texting and calling this past week?" This time, Taehyung asked.

"Yes, I do."

"Do you know where she's going today?" Jimin asked.

"Yes I do know where she's going today." Jin said, turning a page.

"Will you tell us where she's going?"

"No." He said glancing at Hoseok, who pouted at the denial.

"Hyuuung!!" Jungkook whined.

"Why won't you tell us?" Jimin pleaded.

Jin sighed and closed his book with a bookmark. "Because Jisoo is almost 21 years old and she's practically a woman. She needs her space sometimes. Something you all haven't been giving her."

Feeling shocked and appalled, Yoongi quickly defended himself "What?! We do give her space!"

"Yoongi, just two weeks ago, you almost had a fit when Jisoo wanted to go to the store by herself."

"I was trying to keep her safe!" He retaliated.

Jin looked at him incredulously. "The store is literally 2 minutes away."

"I don't give a damn if it's 2 steps away, I'm making sure she's safe."

"Okay, what about when Jisoo was only talking to Minhyuk at the Isac and Jungkook literally pulled her away!"

"In my defense, he was being touchy." Jungkook defended his self.

"All he did was pat her shoulder once." Jin reminded him, shutting him up entirely. "What about when she was only saying hi to Joy from Red Velvet, you, Taehyung and Hoseok got real jealous and stuck to her like super glue."

"You know how many female idols have turned gay this year alone?! We were looking out for her." Hoseok exclaimed.

"That's the point, you guys." Jin argued calmly. "You all are so protective of her, it's hard for her to have her own independence. She's not made of glass, you can't always hover over her and try to shield her away from breaking. Because that's gonna make her break away from you all.

"She's a growing woman and yes, I know you all want what's best for Jisoo, I do too. But you gotta let her breathe."

His words hit its mark when he saw the look on all of their faces. Jin was right. They did act really possessive of Jisoo and very protective. They just didn't noticed how much they were hovering until Jin pointed it out.

"You're right, hyung." Namjoon agreed. "We do tend to hover over Jisoo and I think I speak for all of us when I say we will try harder to let her have her space."

"I'll work on my protectiveness." Yoongi declared.

"And I need to work on not being so possessive of her." Jungkook mumbled sheepishly.

"No, you really need to work on that." Jimin agreed causing everyone to laugh.

"And yes, she is going on a date." Jin clarified.

Yoongi's head nearly did a 180 when he heard those words." Date?! Who the fuc-"

"Hyung!" Taehyung interrupted. "You promised Jin that you would not be so protective."

Yoongi, realizing his own words, quickly backtracked himself. "I did, i did, I'm sorry. Who is she going out with?"

Jin was about to sau but the doorbell ranged. The boys watched as Jin walked over to the front door.

"Hello, you're hear!" He greeted nicely before letting whoever he was taking to in.

And no one couldn't believe their eyes when they saw who walked in, holding red roses.

It was Ten from NCT. He looked absolutely great in semi formal attire and he was holding a large bouquet of red roses, Jisoo's favorite flowers.

Ten smiled almost nervously, looking at the members stare at him in shock.

"Don't mind them," Jin said, closing the door. "They're learning to let go. Jisoo, he's here!"

Everyone just kept staring at him as Jisoo ran in, fully dressed and looking very beautiful. She had a big smile on her face as she saw Ten there with flowers. "Thank you, oppa." She said to Jin.

"Hey, Jiji." Ten greeted, pulling her into a hug, kissing her forehead lightly.

Jungkook damn near tossed their coffee table in the air.

Jiji?!

A kiss on the forehead?!

Jisoo giggled at his kiss and took the flowers from his hands. "Thank you, oppa."

"Are you ready to go?" Ten said, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Jisoo nodded as they walked out. "Bye, I'll be home later!"

"Have fun, sweetie!" Jin said, waving at them as the two left.

Jin smiled as he closed the door. It was then he noticed the silence. He turned around and everyone had the exact same bug eyed stare. It was like they were statues.

"You guys okay?" He asked, slowly.

No one answered him as they all just stayed the same way. "Hello?" He tried again.

"I'm fine Jin, never better. " Yoongi said slowly and dangerously calm.

Jin looked at the water bottle he had and noticed that he held it so tight, the bottle had burst and all of the water pooled around where he was standing.

"You guys....you promised to let her love, remember?" He reminded him but when no one answered him, he rolled his eyes, picked up his book and walked towards his room.

I swear they are idiots sometimes.
