And author-nim or unnie or noona (whatever you all want to call me) is gonna upload seven soft moments with your favorite ships for the next couple of updates because I feel like we all need to be soft for a while.

But enough of that, let's get into our first episode.

Expect a lot of softness and cuddles. Also a lot of baby-ness.

summary : namjoon and jisoo a very quiet conversation while going home late night.

It had to be 1 am or 2 when everyone was done with rehearsals for their concert in jeju city.
Jisoo was having a bad day. She was thrown off during her practice, she couldn't get a note right in her solos and, to top that off, she got into a big argument with a cousin of hers on her dad's side of the family.

The whole time during rehearsals, Jisoo was not in a good mood. Her face didn't hold a smile like it usually did, she barely spoke to anyone unless she was spoken to, she didn't joke around with everyone. She just wanted to be done with this and go home. No one knew what was wrong with her. They figured that she was just having a bad day. But Jisoo rarely had bad days. Whatever it was, affected her deeply. The boys could tell.

But they didn't want to make her talk until she was ready.

The night was cold, traffic was very heavy. Meaning they were stuck on the freeway for a while. Yoongi, Taehyung, Jin and Hoseok rode in one van, Namjoon, Jisoo, Jimin and Jungkook rode in another van behind them.

Jungkook fell asleep as soon as they got in the car, Jimin sat in the seat next to Jungkook with his earbuds in, listening to music but after 30 minutes, he fell asleep. Namjoon and Jisoo sat in the very back, the only ones (besides the driver) awake.

Jisoo sat on one end, looking out at the window silently. Namjoon sat on the other side, looking through his phone.
Looking at the time, it was about 30 minutes to 2 am. Namjoon sighed a little, looking around. Jimin and Jungkook were exhausted. It was evident through their light snoring. He looked at Jisoo and saw she was looking through the window with a blank face. Not saying a word.

She's been like this most of the day. He knew it wasn't like her. He wanted her to talk about it but knew that maybe this was something he should let her work out on her own. Because why else would she behave like this.

"Baby..." he softly called out.

Jisoo looked down at her fingers before looking at him with the same blank face. Namjoon took a good look at her. Her eyes were a bit darker blue. Meaning she was sad or angry about something. She was never good at hiding emotions. "What's wrong?" He asked, quietly. Jisoo didn't say anything, but looked at her fiddling fingers again.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Namjoon tried again, looking at her.

Jisoo pouted a bit, nodding her head no. She didn't want to talk about it just yet. And Namjoon could see that.

"Do you want me to hold you, baby girl?" He asked, opening his arms, repositioning himself so that his back was leaning against the window. Jisoo looked at him with a sad look. She wordlessly crawled over to him and climbed on his lap.

Her head laid on his chest, ear above his heartbeat. Her hands curled in soft fists over his chest as he held her by her waist, close to him. She moved herself up so that her face was buried into his neck. Namjoon moved a strand of her hair out of her face and caressed her cheek softly with the pad of his thumb.

He placed small kisses on her forehead and even kissed her nose when she looked up at him.

And they sat like that through the whole time they were in traffic. Just holding to each and enjoying each others company. Eventually, Jisoo fell asleep peacefully in his arms and Namjoon had to carry her into the dorm. While everyone else went to their rooms and fell asleep, Namjoon carefully placed Jisoo into her bed and left her there to go to his studio.

Namjoon  stayed there for what it seemed like 2 more hours, when in reality it was one. He worked on their music the whole time, typing away on his computers and writing lyrics when he heard a soft knock on his door.

"It's open." He said, not looking away.

He heard the door open and small steps walking towards him. He paused his work and turned around to see who it was.
It was Jisoo. Now in her pajamas which was black baggy sweatpants and his long sleeve black shirt she never gave back.

She rubbed her eye with her fist and was holding her favorite panda plushie in her other arm. It was the same one she got when she turned 15 from Namjoon. She slept with it every night,

She looked absolutely adorable to Namjoon. She really made him very soft.

"Jisoo, baby, what are you doing up, huh?"

"I woke up and you weren't there," She sleepily mumbled like a baby.

Namjoon softly smiled at her. She always turned into a baby when she was dead tired. This wasn't the first time this happened.

" you want me to sleep with you tonight?" He asked.

She held her plushie closer and nodded. Namjoon sighed, turning off his computer.
"Come here," He said, moving to his mini couch. Jisoo waddled o er to him and laid in his lap again.

Together, they laid on his couch in silence. He softly sung in her ear while caressing her face and she fell back asleep with her plushie in her arms. Soon after, Namjoon fell asleep with her.

It might have been a bad day for her but the ending was certainly the best part.
