Not a lot of people know this but Jisoo was born prematurely. Meaning, she was not only cursed with a weak immune system, but she acquired a sensitive hearing. It hadn't been an issue until after her life changing accident. That's when it got worse. Sometimes, the smallest sounds were the loudest to her. The doctor made her wear these clear, invisible hearing aids in both her ears to level out the noise on stage and anytime she's in a big crowd.

During rehearsals, Jisoo stood on stage rehearsing 'Spectre' ( her Wings Short Film song ).

During the soundcheck, A stereo malfunctioned causing the speakers everywhere to let out a super loud noise. Jisoo immediately fell to the ground, ears in immense amount of pain. "Ahhhhh!" She screamed, dropping to the floor.
She started crying loudly as she rocked back and forward, holding her ears.

Everyone rushed to her. Their manager rushed over to the maknae in pain as she continued to scream and cry.
"Someone get a medic!" The manager yelled at the staffs. The boys all ran to her aid. Namjoon, being the first one there, carefully lifted her up. She cried into his chest as he tried to calm her down.

Jimin : it was a very scary moment for all of us. We are very careful when it comes to the sound systems because of Jisoo's sensitive hearing.  It really makes all of us feel useless when we don't know what to do when she's in this situation. I think Namjoon feels the most useless. He takes his role as leader very carefully and seriously. Any mess up, no matter if it was his fault or not, he blames himself.

Jungkook : I didn't like seeing her like that. Jisoo is a very sweet person. She's very kind and can never hurt anyone on purpose. She's the baby of Bangtan. When she's in pain, we're all in pain. Not in the same way but we all feel it.

"Oppa it hurts," Jisoo sobbed out, holding her ears. Namjoon kept holding her against his chest as the medic started working on her ears. He tried everything to calm her down. By placing soft kisses on her head, to wiping her tears away. It was that protective instinct in him to try and remain calm. Which was proven hard because his baby was in his arms, in a fetal position, crying for him to make the pain go away.

"I know it does, baby, I know." He calmly said as she started to hiccup. He only spoke to her in English when situations like this happened. " it's gonna be okay, baby, its gonna be okay..."

Yoongi : It was a sight we all hated seeing. Something we never thought would be an issue. It came to a surprise for all of us. Seeing Jisoo in this type of pain...it was like the accident happened all over again.

She gripped Jin's hand as he held ice packs over one ear. Jungkook held the other one over her other ear.
Her sobbing stopped but the tears still fell. Taehyung rubbed her shoulders while Yoongi, Hoseok and Jimin all sat around her after the medic gave her medicine for the pain.

Namjoon expressed a bit of anger. Not at her or anyone else. It was anger for not being able to protect her from it. "Where are her hearing aids?!" He yelled as the staff all continued to work fast. "They were to be with her at all times! Where are they?!"

After five minutes, a makeup artist found them in the dressing room and hurriedly gave them to the leader.

Jin : that was the first time I've seen Namjoon so angry....he's usually the one who's always calm. But even he has small breaking points.

Taehyung : Namjoon hyung is super super protective of Jisoo-ah. As are the rest of us. When she's in distress for any reason, Namjoon is on total guard. It's both reasonable and funny. Also very loving. He loves Jisoo to death and with her being his only girl member also the youngest, he feels the need to protect her like a baby. In a lot of ways, Jisoo is Namjoon's baby. She's Bangtan and Army's baby.

After putting in her hearing aids, Jisoo felt absolutely worthless and dead weight. She didn't want to burden them over what happened to her. All because she was stupid enough to forget to put back her hearing aids in. "I-I'm sorry, everyone.."

"What are you sorry for?" Namjoon asked almost roughly. He was kneeling in front of the chair she was sitting in. She didn't answer, she just sniffled and held back a hiccup as tears still flowed. "Hey, what have I told you about looking at me when I'm talking to you?"

Jisoo slowly lifted her eyes to him, seeing the serious look in his face. He wiped her cheek with his thumb.
"You have nothing to feel sorry for okay, baby?" He said all in English. Jisoo nodded as he pressed a long kiss on her forehead. "You're fine, everything is okay. Just don't scare me like that okay? No more tears, okay baby?"

Jisoo nodded again, circling her arms around his neck and burying her face in his neck and shoulder. Namjoon carried her bridal style in his arms. "I'm gonna take her to the dressing room." He said to a medic before turning back to Jisoo. "I got you, baby girl."

The boys all followed him to the dressing room, all too worried to even care about soundcheck or the concert.
When they got there, Namjoon sat on a near by couch, with her still in his arms. He let her calm down and waited until the medication started working as the boys all looked on helplessly. Yoongi sat next to Namjoon, placing her ankles on his lap and holding her hand. Jin caressed her hair as Hoseok just looked on with Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook.

Jisoo : people often ask me if it's hard being in a group with 7 boys. I always tell them with much honesty that it's not at all. Not to me. All of them are like my brothers, best friends all wrapped in one. It's what makes us a family.

Namjoon had always been my 'father' to say the least haha. He's always been there when I needed someone. Not to say that the rest aren't ever there. But with Namjoon....I don't know.....I've been told numerous of times that I was Bangtan's Baby or Namjoon's baby. I never believed it hahaha. But I kinda do now.
