Jisoo's "Revelations"

"You know, years ago, I asked PD-nim why he put me in BTS." Jisoo said as the group sat at a table, eating together. Cameras filming them as they talked about random things.

"You did?" Namjoon asked, looking on with curiosity.

Jisoo nodded. "Mhmm. I was about....almost 14."

"Ah, so before we debuted." Hoseok said, eating.

"Yeah." She sighed, straightening up her posture on her chair.

"What'd he say?"

" Well the first thing he said was ' well I didn't put you in the group  because you're pretty' "

The boys started laughing as Jisoo smiled a bit. Remembering the talk the two had years ago. It was a funny and very insightful morning.

"He said 'if you really must know, I was gonna place you in to GLAM. You have the look and talent for a girl group but then I thought you were better than that. You being in a girl group would've been a waste of your talent and time. You were one of the most talented trainees we accepted.

"'Not many people could get me stuck with their singing and dancing.
Not to mention, beautiful visuals.'"

"Wah, that's a big praise coming from him." Taehyung commented as the rest agreed.

"But weirdly, that's not why he put me in this group." Jisoo said

"Then why?" Yoongi asked.

"He told me 'The reason is simple...you're great'"

The boys all frowned a bit in confusion. That was it? They've all worked together for years and had grown to be a family. They've all at least thought about the reason Jisoo was in the group. At least once.

The reason seemed kinda too simple and they wondered if it was more to it.

" He said ' if I didn't think you could keep up with the boys, I wouldn't have put you in the group. You're great at what you do. You're the best and BTS needed the best. I only wanted the best for the group. I wouldn't have put you in the group if I didn't think you were the best. Just like i wouldn't have put any of the boys in if I didn't think they were the best.'"

"I get it," Namjoon said, nodding. "He didn't add you to the group because he thought you were gonna expand the fan base, he added you because you were what's best for the group."

Jisoo nodded, drinking her drink. "But it made me think a bit. There was a time where I almost quit the group,"

"What?" Jin said, shocked.

The only people who knew this were Jimin, Yoongi and Jungkook.
The rest were just shocked at knowing this information.

"Yeah..." she mumbled. " I didn't feel like I belonged in a boy band. Until PD-nim talked to me and told me all of this. I remember thinking about all of you and was like 'he's right I don't want to hurt any of them' so I stayed. For a while, it wasn't because I wanted to, it was because I didn't want to leave you all. But now, I think it's more like I didn't want to give up on this dream because I knew I would've missed out on all of this."

"Bangtan wouldn't be the same without you," Jungkook said, throwing his arm around her shoulders.

"Yeah," Jimin said "who else is gonna be the shortest in the group with me?"

Everyone started laughing at his words and continued to talk about their favorite memories and more stuff they didn't know about each other. And for a moment, it felt like a normal family dinner.

Jisoo was glad she didn't leave.
Then she would've missed out on 7 boys who love her dearly.

You know, just writing new chapters for some books, redecorating others, deleting ones I'll never post.
For the new year. And for summer. Now I gotta go back to do that because I'm gonna be here on this app all day doing that. Thank god I'm off for the next couple of days.
