Facts About Jisoo

• Born in Incheon, South Korea
near the Yeongjongdo island bridge (shes an "island girl")

• was discovered by talent scouts from YG Ent., JYP ent, SM ent, Starship ent, Pledis ent. and BigHit ent after her mom posted a video of her singing a Disney song in her brother's room.

• chose to audition to BigHit because of Yoongi

• Idolized Yoongi so much, she wanted to be famous and had dreams of making music with him

• left home at the age of 10 to train in BigHit

• she met Jungkook when she was auditioning.

• trained for about a month with an upcoming girl group but after what happened in GLAM, it was cancelled

• then she was placed into BTS after Bang started forming them.

• She was only 11 at the time. Her and Jungkook both joined around the same time.

Family Facts

• Is the middle child of three

• her little sister, Mina, was born after she turned 12

• her mother, Tatsu, is from Tokyo, Japan. She came from a very weathly family.

• her father, Seokmin, is originally from the urban side of Daegu and moved to Incheon for college. (Whish is were he met Tatsu)

• Jisoo has American family members

• She learned English through watching looney tunes and through her father

• Taeyong studied abroad after high school and even stayed in Los Angeles for 3 years. ( which is why he speaks with a full American accent when he talks in english)

Audition Facts

• was too scared to sing at first until one of the producers in the room told her to close her eyes and pretend she's in her brother's room.

• Bang-nim described her as 'a vocal powerhouse. Her small looks and voice deceives her big and powerful voice.'

• she had everyone in the room shook

Trainee life

• she lived in a dorm with two other trainees before living with the boys (before bangtan was thought of )

• was known as the most protected trainee

• other trainees said she was always by herself, didn't really talk too much but was the nicest, most caring girl they've ever met

• Would sometimes watch yoongi practice by himself just to make sure he was okay and because she was awestruck

• met Namjoon after he bumped into her in a hallway. This was before they knew they were gonna be in the same group

• was already friends with Jungkook and only met Jimin once before the group was formed

• seen Jin around a couple of times. Was too scared to say hi to him because he was so good looking to her.

• she developed a crush on J-hope before she turned 11.

• after being placed on BTS, she ended up sharing a bed with Jungkook.

• after debut, she and Yoongi became very close. And openly became more confident and loving with everyone.
