Cold breeze hits my face as I shiver under its touch and realise I'm alive. Something is still alive in me. But I don't want to feel alive anymore. Taking off my heels, I put my bare feet on the ground as my toes curl up when the ice-cold surface comes in contact with them. Taking another step forward on the rough surface of the bridge, I stand on its edge as I look down.

River. So dark yet so beautiful.

It looks so ethereal at night. All the glowing stars of that sky descend into the river, shining like diamonds, floating on its top surface. It looks shimmering and full of life from above but in its depth, there is only darkness. Carrying countless stories that it witnesses, calmly still flowing towards its destiny.

Now it is my time to go towards my destiny which I have chosen.

I let my purse slide down from my shoulders, on the ground near where I put my heels. Being a little greedy, our common nature which makes us human. I am also hoping that someone will remember me even after I leave this world. Taking a deep breath, I look around. Sound of horns, vehicles and lively night.
Everyone is awake, why?
Work. Why do we humans work so much, for what?
Money. Why is it so important?

Take a rest. Chill.

No matter how much you earn it will never be enough for you, never. It's greed after all. Human greed.

My perfectly manicured hands swipe the green dot before putting the phone near my ear and that person, who is my world, voice entered my ears.
