one of the last things to do in ibispaint is an overlay.

now in this chapter i'll be providing examples for some of my favorite overlays and frames 🤌🏼
you've got to experiment with the blending mode a bit, it's mostly trial and error, but most of the time one of the lighten blending modes works nicely.

now for my example i've been using the flames overlay and set the blending mode to screen.

now we've got to fix the color. for that i'll make another layer, set the blending mode to color and create a clipping mask. i'll draw on the colors i want and voila:
