In the Chamber, you also learned from Voldemort, formerly known as Tom Riddle, that you are a descent of two of Hogwarts founders, Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw, making you a threat to him.

You also managed to confess your feelings to Hermione, although she was petrified and most likely didn't hear you.

It is now third year, on top of more questions about your ancestry, your feelings for Hermione will start to heat up, and you will have to deal with a murdering lunatic who happens to be after Harry.
