I stood infront of the sultan's door along with mustafa , heart beating nearly out of my chest .
I suddenly felt mustafa touch my hand to reassure me , i looked at him and smiled .

« It's going to be fine , i can sense your distress » he squeezed my hand gently « How can i stay calm ? you're very relaxed as if we are not to expose the great hurrem sultan » i said laughing in the end to ease my anxiety a little bit .

« You're right but i think you forget who i am sometimes , i am his son and the crown prince you don't think my opinion has no weight don't you? » He asked making me shake my head .

Before i can answer him , the door guard walked towards us and bowed down to us « His majesty is waiting for you » . Mustafa looked at yahya who was standing few steps away from us and signaled him to bring the woman .

Mustafa then stepped inside the sultan's room and i followed behind him , the sultan was sitting on his desk reading a book .

« Your majesty » i bowed down to him along with mustafa making the sultan stand up , he closed the book and walked towards us .

I stepped in to greet him « Your majesty , we are happy to see you back . May god bring you a lot of victories and give you a long life » He smiled at me and gently spoke to me .

« Thank you my daughter , i heard from mustafa that you were sick . I am glad you are doing better now » I flashed an awkward smile as i stepped back .

« This is what i came to talk about your majesty » Mustafa spoke making the sultan shift his attention to him . « There are some things you don't know about »

« We talked about everything yesterday what is it ? » The sultan asked as he turned around fully to face his son , Mustafa looked at me one last time .

« Hurrem sultan was behind everything , she poisoned my wife on purpose to get rid of her » he dropped the words like a bombshell and we waited , we waited for the sultan to say something .

« Mustafa , do you have any idea about who you're accusing infront of me ? » we both excpected this reaction because he loved her so much , he obviously wouldn't believe our words .

« I am sure of what i am saying , she did this on purpose while you were away and she almost made me lose my wife and my family » The sultan walked closer to mustafa the turned around to look at me .

« You know how much these words weight right ? you can't accuse hurrem with words » I stepped close when he said this .

« Your majesty , i also didn't believe this until i saw the proof myself » he looked at mustafa and raised his eyebrow « What proof ? » .

Mustafa called in Yahya bey who was accompanied by the woman who looked terrified , her eyes were wide open and she panicked when she saw the sultan infront of her .

« She can tell you about what she was ordered to do » Mustafa said waiting for the woman to speak , the silence was agonising and we both waited eagerly for what she had to say .

The woman shook her head and started tearing up . "Speak now woman" the sultan looked angry as he spoke .

The woman remained silent as we all watched , i suspected that she backed down and that she decided to not help us . Yahya stood infront of her and grabbed her chin forcefully , as soon as she opened her mouth we all stared in shock .

" Oh my god" i whispered as i turned to the other side in disgust , this woman's tongue was cut .

« What is this supposed to mean ? » Mustafa stated in shock and locked eyes with his father who looked unamused .

« She was fine the whole time your majesty , i don't know what happened to her » Yahya said as he looked at the woman's state .

« How can you prove your claims Mustafa ? » His father asked looking angry . Mustafa looked confused at the whole thing and at loss of words .

« I know how much you hate Hurrem but this is not the way to do things » His father turned his back on us .

« Your majesty , We kept this woman here for so long and she was fine and complied with us to say the truth » Mustafa explained one last time « but someone did this .. all i said was true ».

« No mustafa , this is not a way to accuse someone » His father stated for the last time before he went back to his desk .

« I don't want to hear you or your claims anymore » He picked up his book and left us standing there , my heart sank when i saw the look on Mustafa's face .

He looked defeated , the plan we had on our minds didn't work . Everything was going smoothly until now , the woman collapsed on the floor as blood started to come out of her mouth .

Mustafa grabbed my arm as he whispered to me that we should leave , my mouth itched , i wanted to tell the sultan about the hidden room but i was not sure about the timing , was it the right time to say this ?

« Mustafa i have something to say » i whispered as i grabbed his arm « I have to say it »

« Your majesty , this is not everything we wanted to say » Mustafa let go of my arm and i walked towards the sultan's desk .

« Hurrem sultan has a secret room that allows her to listen to your divan » His eyes widened and he slammed the book on the table making me jump .

« What is this nonsense you're talking about ? Do you hear yourself ? » The sultan got up looking more agitated than when mustafa told him about the poisoning.

Mustafa took steps further and whispered « what are you talking about ? » i ignored him and looked at the sultan with confidence .

« I swear i saw her with my own eyes , i can take you there your majesty . May i be cursed if i lie » The sultan's gaze got serious as he saw how determined i was .

« If this turns out to be a lie , believe me i will no tolerate slanders and such heavy claims , i will not be forgiving but i will send you back » The sultan got agressive and i felt intimidated , he never talked to me this way before and i couldn't help but feel pressure.

« We have a divan tomorrow and we can look into this matter » Mustafa proposed but the sultan didn't give him no answer .

« Leave me alone , you can retreat » the sultan dismissed us both and i realised that yahya had left to carry the woman outside .

As soon as we stepped outside i felt relief wash over me .

« Stella what was that ? when did you know this ? » Mustafa looked at me seriously « Not long ago » i answered .

« But you know what can happen if this is not true ? the sultan wouldn't bat an eye and send you back you don't understand how serious this accusation is » he scolded me as if i was lying but i wasn't .

« Why would i lie ? and if i wasn't sure i wouldn't even say it . Trust me Mustafa , i know what i saw » he looked uncomfortable about this whole situation.

he pinched the bridge of his nose « Hurrem sultan cut the girl's tongue , it looks like she knew about this whole plan » That woman was dangerous , the fact that her eyes were everywhere in this palace upon us and watching every single move we do is shocking .

I even started to doubt that she closed the secret room , and it sent chills down my spine.
