my heart was beating at an alarming speed , i was never scared of sultan suleyman but now i was . I had a bad feeling about the situation and especially now that we were standing infront of his door .

« Don't forget what i told you , and don't worry everything will be fine you are not to blame » I knew i was not to blame but i couldn't help but feel bad about this . because of me he will get himself in trouble .

« Don't talk back to your father , he can get angrier that way » he knew i was right so he just nodded giving me a reassuring smile.

The door has opened and both of us got in , fear visible in our eyes .

Sultan suleyman faced us with his back and didn't make a sound even after the door closed behind us .

« You're here » Sultan suleyman worded with a serious tone still not facing us .

« Your majesty , i can explain to you » Mustafa tried to explain himself but he got interrupted by his father raising his hand .

« How reckless can you be mustafa ? Are you aware of the risk you took here ? do you even realise the risk you took » Sultan suleyman started raising his voice and turned around to look at us .

« I had to father , i had to go i couldn't stop myself » Mustafa admitted to his father who didn't look like he was getting what his son was saying .

« What do you mean by that ? » He asked , mustafa started to look around not finding the words to answer his father .

it pained me to see him getting grounded while i'm not doing anything to help .

« It is all my fault your majesty , i had asked him for help when i was desperate he is not to blame » i finally stepped out and defended him but he looked at me surprised .

« Is that so ? and why didn't you ask for my help daughter . I am bound to protect you at all costs , i was completely devastated when i realised that you were kidnapped and i had sent my own guards to come rescue you but » Sultan suleyman explained to me then glanced at mustafa .

« I know i just » i didn't know how to explain myself any further « Please , mustafa is not to blame i asked him to come and i didn't think for once it would've backfired on him . I'm sorry again » i apologised to him hoping he would just close this matter and move on .

« I see .. » sultan suleyman walked away and circled around us , his unwillingness to speak was eating us from inside out . He was so unexcpected and so were his decisions .

« You can leave Stella, you have to go rest after all this » He finally said when he stood infront of me , he put his hand on my face and smiled « and don't worry about Alonso , i will definitely give him the punishment he deserves » I smiled , it was not a genuine one because still i had to leave mustafa behind .

« Your majesty » i bowed down to him and looked at mustafa one last time as i walked towards the door guilt washing over me .

As soon as i stepped out , yahya came over to me and asked me about mustafa worriedly .

« I don't know , i can't figure out his majesty he looked both angry and relieved ? i don't know honestly » i was confused about his reaction so i couldn't give a proper explanation.

« I hope it doesn't backfire on him , now many enemies want to see him down and i'm afraid they will get what they want » Yahya explained with worry written on his face .

« Your highness » a girl screamed from afar and i immediately realised it was fahriye , she put her hands over her mouth and ran towards me .

I looked at yahya and he stepped aside as i walked towards fahriye who looked pale .

« Your highness can i - can i hug you » she looked very anxious and relieved at the same time , right when i gave her permission she hugged me right .

« I was sure you didn't leave by your own will , i have missed you . i was scared something was going to happen to you » she spoke so fast i could barely make up what she was saying .

« I'm sorry » she stepped back after she realised that she was suffocating me , i smiled at her and laughed at her behaviour.

« I knew you'd be the one that would care about me the most » i said complimenting her and she immediately squealed agreeing with me .

« Tell me everything that happened to you , i want to know . Everyone was making up rumours about you and i didn't know what to believe » she complained about the rumours and honestly i was too tired to even ask her about what she heard .

« But first can we just leave i am so tired , i want to sleep » She immediately nodded and paved the way for me .

« You look so thin your highness , you have to eat first » i refused her proposal and walked towards my room .She kept walking behind me until we arrived to my room

« my room » i mumbled as i finally had the chance to open this door again , i thought i would never do so but i was blessed to enter this room again .

« i have been preparing your bed everyday your highness , i have missed you a lot » Fahriye expressed once again her thoughts and i couldn't help but smile at her cuteness .

« Well this time i'm sleeping in it » i said immediately falling in the bed surrendering to my lack of sleep i've been enduring for days .

After i woke up , i realised it was already day time . i had slept for so long , for a whole day which was something unusual for me to do

But i realised that i woke up really early , i looked at the window and realised that the sun was about to start rising .

I stood up and went to get changed from this dress which held my worst memories . I went to the hammam by myself and went back to my room where i saw fahriye setting up my table

"Good morning your highness" she said looking half asleep , i didn't want to wake her up at this time .

" Good morning but why did you get up ?" i asked drying my hair with a towel , she approached me and grabbed the towel from my hands .

" I have to , we have a lot to catch up on" she sat me down and took care of my hair and my face as i told her everything that has happened to me ever since the first day but i skipped all the parts mustafa told me to not talk about like the ambush .

" You should've seen mahidevran sultan , she was so furious and lashed out at everyone" she explained to me how the sultanas reacted to this , and they were all very upset about mustafa risking his life .

" They said you have an affair with that weird prince and you betrayed everyone , i think you have an image to fix here your highness" she explained how the palace saw me , and i was obviously not like what they said . I never went by my own will

" They will talk nonetheless" i said under my breath as she brushed my hair , i didn't and don't have to explain myself to them , and they would soon or later know the truth .
