I battled to open my eyes as i felt the sunlight hit my face , i didn't know for how long i was asleep for but my body felt so sore as if i slept for an eternity .

I opened my eyes slowly and got surprised when i saw how close i was to Mustafa , i rapidly backed away and pulled out the blanket away from me .

I sat down slowly and watched him , it was obvious he moved a little bit in his sleep , i checked his breathing first to make sure he was fine .

I got up from where i was sleeping and went to open the door slowly , as soon as i opened it i heard noise . Well it was logical since the church had opened the doors early in the morning , i wanted to search for Yahya and the doctor to come and check Mustafa's state

But before i could do that i heard faint whispers coming from inside the room , i turned around quickly and realised that Mustafa was calling for me .

"Mustafa you're awake" i said finally allowing my heart to be at ease , i quickly rushed to his side and kneeled to his level .

"How are you feeling ? do you feel pain anywhere ?" i said reaching for a cup of water on the table and helping him drink a little bit .

"Stella" he whispered barely making a sound " What happened where are we ?" he asked with the little strength he had left .

" Don't tire yourself out i will explain everything" when he finished drinking water i put it back to its original place and continued "We're still here , we're in a church because we couldn't go back home and you were wounded pretty badly" his eyes widened at what i said , i felt like he wanted to speak but his pain got the best of him .

" We shouldn't be here , do you know what his majesty would say if he discovers that i am here and not in my province ?" he managed to word it making me think about what he said , we were already in trouble and now we got a new one .

"We couldn't risk it , we had to do this . and it was my idea please don't blame yahya for it" I tried to explain the situation to him and he didn't seem as tense as he was .

" I know but we should've went back , a wound like this shouldn't have stopped us . We have to leave today" he tried to push the blanket away but i stopped him .

"Please no , you are wounded . I can't risk it , what if something happens to you again ? what if you bleed out a lot ?" i was starting to overthink now every possible scenario.

"I won't , i've been through much worse nothing will happen to me don't worry "I wanted to try and persuade him but i didn't think it would've worked either ways .

I got up and stepped back slowly " I will call Yahya so we can leave , just so you know i am not satisfied with your decision" I said while heading outside to call yahya .

He was on the other room and when he heard my footsteps he stepped outside .

" Princess ? is there something wrong" before he starts to panic i interrupted him " No nothing , Mustafa wants to leave but as much as i tried to persuade him he just doesn't want to listen . We have to go back" Yahya wasn't shocked , he already excpected mustafa to say this .

" He is right , i know how risky it is but we have to" he said while opening mustafa's door who was already up , i quickly rushed to his side to help him .

" We will go back as you like but don't tell me i didn't warn you" i said trying to keep him standing along with Yahya , i glanced to my side and saw a bag . i didn't know whom it belonged to but i was curious to see what was there .

I kneeled down and opened it , i saw bunch of medicine and food stacked inside , they probably thought of us and put it here . They were so kind even if we rarely saw them , i grabbed it and brought with me .

Me and him helped mustafa take the stairs until we were downstairs , the guards were already set to leave . I searched with my eyes for the priest that welcomed us but he was nowhere to be seen , he saved us from big trouble .

I looked through the entrance and even asked some passing people but no one saw him so i decided to just write him something to thank him about everything . I thought maybe he only worked at night so i didn't ask further

I let Mustafa and Yahya go outside and started searching for a paper and ink to write my words to him , when i finally found on on a nearby table i left the church and headed outside to join the others

Yahya was helping mustafa get behind a guard so we can leave , i also hopped behind one of the guards so we can leave . I was not sure about all what we were doing , i was scared something was going to happen to mustafa because of his wound .

We passed by the city immediately searching for the port so we can go back home , there were a lot of boats waiting and a lot of things going on . I looked at Yahya to know where should we go next

" They're supposed to be waiting for us here" he said getting off his horse , he looked around and finally pointed at a ship .

"Did you hear about the princess who ran away from the crown prince ? i heard they're looking for her everywhere" Someone said right behind me , where they looking for me ? didn't that coward give up already ?

We were all wearing ordinary clothes so there was no way they could recognise us , or me even worse . We all got off our horses and walked towards the ship , hoping this was the last time we come here .

We all got inside and waited for the ship to start moving , i got seated by the window and helped mustafa do that too as Yahya went up to help the sailors .

I was honestly so hungry i forgot to eat so i grabbed the bag i found back in the church and started to pull out what was inside .

"Are you hungry ? i'm sure you are" i asked mustafa as i set infront of him whatever we had in the bag , there was bread , olives and peanuts .

It was simple but it could fill us up at least before we can get there .

" I can't wait to get back , i'm sure i will hear the worst things from my dad but at least i fulfilled my promise. You're here with me now" I just knew my face was extremely red , i felt something shift in my heart but i didn't want it to be obvious .

"I don't know how to thank you , you have saved my life . You saved me from the biggest tragedy ever" i was genuine , he had truly done so much for me i don't think i will forget about this .

" You're special to me , i wouldn't have done this for anyone" he didn't break eye contact with me ever since we started talking and i didn't know how much i could hold my straight face .

" I guess you're hungry , they left some things for us if you want . you have to sleep after that" i said pointing at the food we had .

" You're right , i certainly don't want to feel how long trip will be but i don't want to leave you alone bored" he said adjusting his standing position slowly to start eating .

" Well don't worry about me , i'm quite used to solitude . You have to sleep" he looked at me and nodded with a smile then we both proceeded to eat in silence as the sound of waves crashed on the windows .
