I was now getting more impatient , i had to find some clue as to where i could find this so called Alex . i can't risk it and be more obvious and i didn't want the guard to snitch on me so i had to turn around and walk back to my room before someone tells alonso that i am out of my room .

I found my way to get back to my room but right as went through an alley i heard someone whisper my name , i turned around chilled . but no one was in sight until i saw someone underground peeking through the floor

« What the hell » i was genuinely confused , and anyone would be « What are you doing here should i call for help ? » before i could finish my sentence the guy shut me up.

« No no don't i am alex , and i want to meet you here tonight so i can help you escape . i am currently in a secret alley underground » he started explaining while peeking « it's not as cramped as it looks don't worry »

So this was the guy i've been searching for ? he was hiding underground .

« Okay okay .. but the wedding is tonight how can that even happen » i asked thinking about a plan « they're gonna be following me everywhere » he nodded

« Yes i know and i can't take you now it's daylight we have no choice but to wait for the night , you have to find a way to be saved . if i come back without you i know prince mustafa will be head me so please don't be the reason for me to lose my head » I complied with him , he was right , if i wanted to escape i should sacrifice everything even my safety .

I don't even know what will happen after , will i succeed ? or will i be married and fail .

« Okay but don't let me search for you , i will comeback here once i find a way » I grabbed my dress ready to leave « Here at night » he nodded and disappeared underground.

I looked around to see if no one saw me , and when i made sure of that i went to my room hoping no one snitched on me leaving my room . As i got inside i saw my wedding dress hanging on the wall and few maids retouching it

« Your highness here is your dress , we would love to start your hair and makeup so we prepare you early » i approached the dress and looked at it , it was pretty .

« Okay let's just start and be over with this » i sat on the comfortable chair as the girls surrounded me touching my face and hair .

I was way too absorbed in my own thoughts and panicking about the escape that i didn't realise that they were finished with me .

« Woah you're so beautiful » Catalina gave me a small pat on the shoulder so i can see myself in the mirror .

they indeed did a good job , too bad everything was going into vain . the girls then started to help me put on the dress , that itself took a long time so they can close the buttons and adjust it to my own comfort .

Catalina was giving them orders as she supervised them . « It feels so weird that you accepted this wedding your highness » she said , i glanced at her .

« Well sometimes you don't have a choice or a say in this you just have to comply » i answered as i looked down at the floor .

« You're going to have a lot of power , and we're much better than those barbarians who kidnapped you » i didn't want to sound defensive so i had to nod in response because in fact the real barbarian is alonso and his family .

I looked at myself in the mirror , I was about to start feeling bad about the whole situation but I remembered that I was the only victim here that everyone was just thinking about themselves .

Suddenly, his mom stepped inside my room and walked towards me , she looked really pretty , at the end it was her son's wedding .

" you look pretty, i am glad the dress fit you well now let's go everyone is waiting" my heart started racing because it's completely slipped out of my mind that she was supposed to walk me to the wedding hall .

How will i escape now when his mother is right next to me , i started to panic at this point .

" I am glad you have realised that this is the right choice for you and everyone"she brushed her hand on my cheek and fixed my veil putting it over my face .

"You're going to be a great bride i am sure you will never regret this" i looked at her through the veil with the bluntest expression ever . i didn't even have the energy to fake it

She walked me towards the door to leave and i had to make my plan into action , i had to do something . we were accompanied by a lot of maids so it got even more difficult .

my throat was getting dry and my hands were sweaty each passing second .

"I - I have to get something back from my room" i blurted out not thinking twice , i looked at his mother and she gave me a weird look .

"What is it they can bring it to you?"she asked suspicious of me and phased by what i said , what was i going to say now ?

" I forgot my necklace .. i can't stay without it and i won't forgive myself if i don't wear it in such occasion" i felt like the lies kept coming out of my mouth very naturally.

"Where is it i can bring it to you" Catalina offered and i shook my head "No no there's no need for it only i know where it is" they all looked at each other .

"Okay but don't be late we're gonna wait here" i nod and head back to my room in my heavy dress , first thing i had to take off is this dress .

I got inside my room and immediately threw that veil off of my face , i went to search for my necklace because i truly forgot about it . i wanted to take off the dress so bad but i didn't have time and i couldn't risk them catching me so i just grabbed a dress and folded it to take it with me in case .

I opened the door slowly and walked out trying to look as normal as possible , i started to walk towards where i've seen alex earlier and guards were looking at me weirdly and i just gave them a smile in return

I stood where i spoke to him earlier and started to knock on the floor , he immediately lifted the floor tile completely

« Princess what is this dress how are you going to get in? » He asked when he saw how huge in my dress .  « i didn't have the time to change so we better hurry up » i whispered and put my leg inside then another leg , i had trouble to get in with this dress but i finally got in .

Alex grabbed my hand and caught me so i don't fall .

« Thank you »i say as i straightened the dress while still holding the spare dress i brought with me , alex climber again and closed the entrance with the floor tile .

« We have to hurry up » he walked first and i followed him , we kept walking down this dark alley . i didn't even want to strike a conversation i was just glad i could escape .

He kept leading the way until we got to a door , he opened it slowly and it revealed a forest . it was nighttime so i couldn't see well

« Let's go » he let me get out of the door which i did . how did he do all of this alone it must've taken a lot of courage .

« Are you here alone or ? » I asked as he followed behind me and closed the door then pushed some trees on it so it was completely hidden .

« Stella » someone called my name , i recognised the voice really well . to my surprise i turned around
