Switched off the lights,
saw a ghost in the mirror.
Appeared lifeless,
didn't scare me,
like how we talked abt when young.
It was the reflection,
on how I feel deep inside.
Someone long lost.
Maybe that's why ppl dont look at the mirror in the dark.
Afraid of meeting their innerself,
afraid of embracing their brokenself.
