|06| Chapter Six

We normally went out for coffee when we traded comics. It wasn't something we agreed on. It was just something that had happened over time. We had no power over it. It just happened. Really fast and really sudden.

It was an unspoken location that the two of us had agreed upon. However, on this day we were meeting something probably feel through. Like a reminder that we weren't meeting today. It was always on Tuesdays and Fridays when we met up.

But, where was he? Lloyd wasn't here and it was eleven thirty. Thirty minutes after our agreed upon meeting time. We had agreed to meet up at eleven. Actually, did we agree on a meeting time and a meeting place? Maybe we didn't and I was looking too far into this. I actually just wanted a friend that wasn't my twin sister.

I was about to leave when a girl came up to me with black hair cut in a bob, grey eyes, and dressed in blue jeans, a grey sweatshirt, and a black beanie on her head. She was pretty. But why was she coming over to me? Did she not see me and thought this booth was empty? Probably. I am more than invisible. I am the invisible.

"Hi, are you [Y/N]?" She asked me.

So, she was coming over to speak with me. I am very confused all of a sudden now. Why are you even here mysterious girl?

"Lloyd sent me. Here." She held out the next issue of Starferer.

"Do you want to sit down?" I gestured to the booth across from me.

The girl smiled and slid into the booth. I had no idea who she was, but she obviously knew who I was. She obviously knew Lloyd. I was confused on how this whole predicament came about. And she had the answers. I just needed to be brave and smart enough to ask her.

"So, where's Lloyd?" I asked her.

"Fish wouldn't agree with him." She replied.

"Who are you again?" I asked her.

"Nya. My name is Nya." She told me.

"And you-."

"Me and my brother live with Lloyd and his parents and his uncle." She explained.

"So, Lloyd is sick?" I questioned her.

"Sick? Oh, yes. Yes. He is. He is very sorry he's not here, but he didn't want you to get ... um... sick." Nya explained.

I understood that. I understood he was sick and didn't want to damage my healthy self with his germ. But I couldn't help but be disappointed that he didn't text or call before hand to explain the situation. Or he was sending someone else for our coffee hangout.

Yep. Disappointment.

It was nothing else.

"I thought he was just a friend."
