|07| Chapter Seven
"So, where are we going anyway?" I asked Jay as he lead me through the woods.
It was a couple days after he told me he would help me. Two weeks after I told him about the second voice inside of my head. Two weeks after he took me to Mega Monster Amusement Park, and I had the best evening of my life. But now, two weeks later, I had absolutely no idea what we were doing. Or where we were going.
"Don't worry about it, [Y/N]. It's a surprise, anyway. And I promise you you'll like the surprise." he told me.
I rolled my eyes at him as I pulled the ends of my glove farther up my arm. Jay Walker turned to me and sent me a smile, his dimples showing through and his pearly white teeth more prominent than before. I sighed to myself, but then my face started to heat up. Why? Why do you ask? Well, he gripped my hand in his and interlocked our fingers as we walked further into the woods.
"Now, there is a reasons we are walking through the woods to get to this place."
"Is it a waterfall we're walking to? Or maybe a Lover's Lane sort of deal? Where the Blue Ninja goes to make out with girls? Possibly some of those girls are fangirls." I teased.
"Haha very funny. But we do have a place we take our fangirl girlfriends to as a fake hangout. Only the real deal is reserved for the Orange Ninja for Red, Grey for Green, and Cyan for Me." Jay joked back.
"Cyan?"
"Yeah, the water ninja, and yes, before you ask, I am very well aware of the fandom shipping us hardcore to the point of no return, but we're just friends. Actually, I asked her out once a long time ago, but she said no and went to be with the Black Ninja." Jay told me.
"That's sad. I thought the ninjas all got what they wanted." I commented.
"Well, we are teenagers. We got through teenage stuff from school to drama to romance to schoolgirl and schoolboys crushes to heartbreak. You'll be surprised at what we've gone through. And we most definitely don't always get what we want." he told me as we made it to where he was taking me.
What is that? It looks like a monastary. Actually, I think it was a monastary, so why did we come here in the first place? Wait. Is this the place where he lives? Where he works and cleans and trains and sleeps and whatever else it is that he may do.
"Jay, what is this place?" I asked turning to him.
"This [Y/N]. Is one of my homes. And it is far better than anything you could have ever imagined." Jay said as another man walked towards us from a tree.
"Is this the girl? The girl you were telling us about?" the man asked.
"Yes, Neuro. This is she. This is [Y/N]. Now, take good care of her. Please, for me." Jay told him.
Don't let him touch you.
Don't let him touch you.
You need me here.
You need me.
You have always needed me.
And you always have.
So, don't hand -.
And Jay passed me over to Neuro, and I could no longer hear her.
