I could always tell when someone was following me. Maybe it was because I was always paranoid that gave me this skill. Maybe it was the second being inside my head that gave me this power. I have never known why I had this evil side to me.

I want to know why I had this evil side to me.
I want to know everything.
But sadly that is where it crosses the line.

This ability to know when someone is following me. To know when and where someone is hiding is how I knew a ninja was behind me.

I stopped in my tracks turning around. "You can come out now. I know you're there.... Blue."

"Shit!" I heard the ninja curse.

I turned towards the one the voice told me was named Jay Walker. "You know for a ninja, you have terrible hiding skills."

"Well, I have amazing hiding skills. It's just no one notices I'm there." He confessed.

"Well, Mr. Walker. I sure hope you improve with your hiding skills in the nick of time." I replied before moving on.

"Hey! How do you know who I am?" Jay yelled at me.

I stopped turning towards the blue ninja. "Well, it simply you'll have to find out. I suppose it was the Black one who sent you here. What was his name? Cole was it?"

I left soon after that leaving the lightning ninja dumbfounded. My home was always chaotic. Well, organization wise. I could not keep to a system that prohibited my home to be less messy.

However, the state of my home was nowhere near as messy and chaotic as my mind. My mind controlled my decisions, my choices, my consciousness. To my mind, there was only one decision. One choice: live and kill.

I opened the door to my apartment and put my keys in the bowl I had on my shelf before closing the door behind me. The only thing that gave me peace of mind was the most cuddly creature I have ever met: a maine coon and munchkin crossover cat.

It was the only thing that she let me love. It was the only thing that I was allowed to love. No one or nothing else lived up to her expectation of who could love me.

"How's my little sweetheart?" I picked up my little bundle of sanity.

The cat (who I had named Sparky) meowed in response, and I wanted to hold her all day. But alas, she never let's me do what I want. She was in control. Always patrolling in my mind. Telling me who to kill and who to spare.

That's when I heard a knock on my window.
Right in the middle of me thinking about how my life was a miserable, toxic mess.
Kill him.
Why do you think it's a guy?
Because I can.
Now, kill the boy they call Jay Walker.
Why would i do that?

I had never shown my other side defiance. I had only showed it cooperation. I was never this bold to deny her that. There was something brewing inside of me.

Something I didn't want to see where it landed me.

How dare you be defiant?
I am the only one who controls you.
You can't control yourself.
I control your thoughts, your feelings, your actions, your choices, your dreams, everything.
I am the only one who is able to keep you in line.
Now KILLL him.

I walked to the window completely ready to obey her orders. But when I looked outside. I saw a boy with magnificent baby blue eyes.

The eyes are what propelled me to open the window. The eyes are what propelled me to disobey my master's orders. Standing there in the pouring rain was the blue ninja.

"I'm sorry to disturb you again, but I was tasked to make sure you got home alright, so here I am." Jay said.

"Then, why are you at my window knocking on it?" I asked him.

"Okay, I lied. I went back to ninja headquarters after you said my name and one of my friend's, so I've been instructed to 'kidnap' you so we can ask you questions." Jay admitted.

Kill him NOW!

I looked down at my hands to see the pure darkness that corrupted my soul. Corrupted my wind. The darkness that has killed thousands and injured millions. It was slowly turning into an orb that I would aim and a massive amount of energy would burst from my hand.

I'll do it myself.

I have never been stronger than she was. I was always the weaker one. I was always the culprit never the victim. She made me move my arm, and in a split second I know what was going to happen.

"Look out!" I warned the boy named Jay.

But it was too late. The darkness had burst into a beam.

Luckily, he was a ninja.
Unfortunately, his arm was grazed by the darkness particles and he fell down.
Luckily, he didn't have to fall far.

Third

"You know it's been awhile. Don't you want to go look for him? The fire ninja known as Kai Smith asked his friends.

"Jay can handle it. It's the girl I'm worried about." Sensei Wu revealed.

"You know who she is, dont you, Sensei?" The ice ninja, Zane Julien, asked.

That's when the sirens were heard. The police was after her again. Sensei Wu had changed his mind.

"On second thought, I think you should go check on him at her apartment. Luckily, it's not so far away." Sensei Wu instructed him.

The five remaining ninja hopped through trees and ran over building. Thanks to Zane, they knew where lived. When they got there, it was a sight they hadn't been expecting.

The same [H/C] haired girl sitting in the middle of the alley.
Their buddy, the lightning ninja, lay motionless on the ground in front of her.
She was trying to tend to his arm.

"I didn't mean to hurt him." She sobbed. "I didn't mean to hurt anyone. You have to help him."

That's when they saw running up and down his arm were black, navy blue, and dary purple veins. And it seemed to be growing with every second.

"We'll help our friend, but you need to come with us. We have some questions-." The earth ninja, Cole Brookstone, was interrupted by her shouts.

"NO! That's how this all started! It's just best if you leave me alone." What did she mean by that?

The girl looked at her hands before stuffing it into her hoody pockets. The ninja had no idea what she meant by that. They shared looks between them. But they couldn't think about it anymore. Or else the lightning ninja would be no more.

So they took their injuredd friend and bolted.
Towards the bounty.
Towards help.
Away from the girl who caused this.
Away from a darkness they didn't yet know existed.
