I walked on the step stone path that leaded to our doors, my best friend Wonyoung was beside me as we went inside.

"so did you get that work done last night?" She asked me with a soft tone of voice "yeah she seemed pushy about it too." I laughed "isn't she always?" Wonyoung said with a giggle.

we arrived to class and sat down at our desks.

"good morning class, today we will flip to page 135." Mrs.Lim said and I flipped to page 135.

we worked for a while and I finished my test before anyone else did.

the power shut off making it too dark for anyone to see, although the windows also went boarded up and the blinds down.

we heard footsteps and drops of things "okay class I don't know what's happening but stay calm I'm going to check." Mrs.Lim said and we nodded and she went out the door taking small footsteps.

"Wonyoung." I whispered and she tiptoed over "what's happening?" I whispered in her ear "I don't know but I saw a red light." She whispered back to me.

we heard a gunshot.

"what the fuck." I said a bit loud and I felt a hand on my mouth.

it was sunghoons "shh Jennie you don't want whoever is out there hearing you." he whispered, sunghoon is my brother.

Wonyoung looked around for something we could use "guys if I find something sharp we could go down there and kill that person." and then we heard more than 1 gunshot "what if there's more than one person Wonyoung..." Vernon said breathing heavy and we all looked around.

"should we seriously go out?" I asked "well I mean if we make an escape then yes we could go." sohee said sitting by Vernon "but we can't just run out." sunghoon said "we don't know who's out there." Wonyoung said "what if we just go that's not safe." Vernon said "guys collect something we could use to kill someone if we have to." Sunghoon said "guys seriously we should go check." sohee said and we heard a knock at our door.

I opened it.

"Hi." I said to the person at the door and it was Leehan "guys you can come downstairs." He said "oh thanks." I said and we all went downstairs "just don't speak." leehan said and we all nodded.

we saw the red light and I walked past it.

it shined in the whole entire hallway, should I check it?
