Police station..

"You again Mr. MM.." the police said with mocking tone.

Manik smirked, "Get ready to release my wife.. because this time I came with proof of her innocence!"

"And we have the permission to get her bailed also.." said Rishabh.

Police officer looked disturbed for a while, "What.. What's the proof you've got?"

Aman came with an employee of nanik, who was pleading Aman to forgive him for his deeds.

"He's an employee of Nanik.. the one who added poison in the client's food and according to him it wasn't Nandini who ordered him to do this, but another person.. He will tell you the rest.." Manik said.

"Sir I was helpless.. I didn't want to do this.. but Maddy sir offered me a huge amount of money and said that I won't be caught.. I couldn't deny as I badly needed money.. he said he would protect me.. It wasn't Nandini ma'am who poisoned the clients food, it was me.. and Maddy sir ordered me.." the employee said crying bitterly.

"This is not enough as proof! I can't release your wife.. What guarantee I've that you didn't bribe him to say all this?" the police officer asked.

"I've CCTV footage that clearly shows this man poisoning the client's food!" Manik gritted his teeth.

"And we will file a complaint against Maddy Malhotra!" Rishabh added, "Now you will bring him to the lock up also!"

"Don't teach me my job.. I won't do any such thing.. Nandini Malhotra is the owner of Nanik, she is clearly the murderer here.. Don't try to mislead me!" the police officer said angrily.

"I guess you've been bribed also to protect the real criminals!" Manik glared at him, "Not a problem.. I will call the police commissioner.. He will tell you what you need to do.."

"No no sir.. Please don't call commissioner sir.. I will.. I will release your wife.." the police officer stammered visibly scared on hearing the mention of the commissioner.

"Chandan go and release his wife.." he shouted.

Aman sighed in relief. Rishabh went to file a complaint against Maddy while Manik noticed that this police officer was involved in all this that's why on hearing about the commissioner he got so scared like that. Although Nandini was getting released, he needs to punish the real culprits, till now only Maddy's name got revealed, but he knew Dev and his Nani also had their hands on this and he can't let them roam freely like this.

Nandini walked out of the lock up, she came running to Manik and hugged him tightly.

Manik hugged her back, caressing her hair, he kissed her hair many times, then cupped her face and placed many soft kisses all over her face.

Sheesh Mahal..

Nandini was waiting for Manik to bring their food. He forced her to sit at the dining hall and wait till her cooks their dinner. She knew he was doing this to make her feel better.

"Manik can I come to help you?" she shouted.

"No, stay there Angel.. I'm coming.. just give me two minutes.." she heard his reply.

Dadi, Maya and Pinky came downstairs and sat with Nandini.

"Nandini bitiya are you ok?" Dadi asked concernedly.

Nandini nodded smiling.

"You don't need to be scared when Chiku is there.. See like a hero he saved you today!" Maya said.

"Yes yes.. Manik bro toh best hai!" Pinky giggled.

"Not that best!" Manik said coming towards them staring at his food that burnt a little.

Nandini stood up to help him serve.

"Sit back Nandini!" Manik ordered her.

"Nahin.. I will help you.."

"Did I ask help? No right.. I want to pamper my ladies.. Can't you let me do that?" he asked.

Nandini nodded smiling and sat back.

After serving Nani, Maya, Pinky and Nandini. He sat beside Nandini and feed her with his hand.

"How's my food?" Manik asked to the ladies.

"Burnt food made with pyaar (love) is fair! As sab kuch (everything) is fair in pyaar (love)

and dishoom dishoom (war)" Pinky giggled.

"It's a worth to eat food.. With time you will get better Chiku.." Dadi said.

"Haan.. Nandini will teach him how to cook perfectly.." Maya said.

Manik then looked at Nandini, who smiled at him and replied, "First class!"

"Really?" his eyes shine with a radiant smile on his face.

Nandini nodded, "Feed me more.. I'm hungry.."

After watching Nandini's favorite movie of Salman Khan, all of them went to their respective rooms.

Nandini laid on the bed and rested her head on Manik's chest snuggling more to him.

Manik kissed her forehead, "Your heart is still beating loudly!"

"Hmm.. I really got scared of being in that lock up, it was so scary, so dark, so suffocating.. and on top of that, people were staring at me as I'm some murderer.." Nandini said sadly.

"Shh.. Didn't I said that I would prove your innocence? I just released you today, tomorrow I will work out on putting the real culprits in jail and clear to this to world that you didn't commit any crime!" Manik said.

"Manik is that man Dev Randhawa your father, right?" Nandini asked, but she knew already the truth.

Manik nodded.

"And Anika is your sister.." Nandini said.

"They are no one to me Nandini.. Only you're my family.. My one and only family.." he said pressing her more to him.

"But I don't think Anika is involved in all this Manik.. Nakuul and Anika are good people.." Nandini said.

"Nandini my past with my father is not that good that I will accept people connected with him so easily like that.. That man left my mother to marry another woman, how can I trust his daughter?! She might be a good girl, but my heart is not ready for this.." Manik sighed with closed eyes.

"Let's leave this topic.. I want to say one more thing to you.." Nandini said noticing that he's getting disturbed with this matter.

"What is it?" Manik asked.

"I forgive you.." Nandini said. Manik looked at her side, "What did you say?"

"I said I forgive you! I forgive you for everything you did with me in past.." Nandini said little bit loudly this time.

Manik hugged her tightly and buried his face on her neck, "Thank you.. I so much waited for this day to hear this from you!"

"Haan I forgave you but didn't forget anything.. Next time you repeat same mistake, I won't spare you at all!" Nandini said.

Manik nodded with a smile playing on his lips.

Nakuul's house..

"Do you believe in your father's disgusting lies?" Nakuul asked when Anika finished sharing with him her father's point of view, "As far as I know Nandini.. she's not capable of doing that.. she loves Manik truly and is not behind his money.. His family was behind his property and hence Manik kicked them out of his house.."

"Of course I don't believe in him Nakuul.. Nandini truly loves my brother and I could see it in her eyes.. I feel something fishy about Bhai's family.. they are staying at our home.. I told you na.." Anika said.

"Thank God you didn't believe in your father words.." Nakuul hugged her.

"Nakuul.. I wanted to meet with Bhai.." Anika said hugging him back.

"I don't think it's a good idea.. He's very angry with your father.. and he will not accept you now Anika.. He hates his father and automatically he hates you too.. Let things calm down, then I will take you to Manik.." Nakuul said.

Anika nodded sadly, "Just by thinking that few days back, Bhai had dinner with me.. he smiled and talked with me so comfortably.. and that day.. he looked at me so coldly.. as if I'm a stranger to him.. his enemy.."

"Everything will be alright soon.. He will realize that you're different from your father.. Don't worry.." Nakuul said and dropped a kiss on her hair.

Manik was lost in his thoughts sitting on the couch of the living room.

Dadi came and sat beside him, she caressed his hair, "What happened Chiku? Where are you lost?"

"Just thinking how to make Dev Randhawa confess his crimes and send him and Nani to jail.." Manik said.

Dadi nodded sadly, "I never thought there will a day a son will send his father to jail.."

"Dadi you know how that man is, don't you?" Manik frowned, "Is it hurting you that I'm planning to revenge your son and send him to jail?"

Dadi didn't reply to him, she went to her room with tears in her eyes.

Nandini came to the living room, "Manik what happened? Why this worried face?"

"Nothing.." Manik shook his head.

"What's there for breakfast?" he asked.

"Your favorite toast.. puri.. jalebis.. aloo paratha.." Nandini smiled.

"You must have cooked mountains of Jalebis and Puris.." Manik said.

Nandini glared at him. Manik chuckled, he stood up and lifted her in his arms, he pecked her cheek and she giggled.

"Don't pamper me like this.. I'll get used to it.." Nandini said wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Okay.." he nodded.

Nandini slapped his shoulder lightly. Manik chuckled.

"Kaise (How) sweet Manik bro and Nandini.." Pinky smiled dreamily watching Manik bringing Nandini to the dining hall in his arms.

Maya smiled, "Always keep loving and pampering Nandini like this ok Chiku?"

Manik made Nandini sit on her chair, then replied to Maya, "Maya aunty she's the one who doesn't want me to pamper her.."

Nandini nodded sideways, "It's not like that.."

"Oh really.. Weren't you the one who said that few seconds back?" Manik raised his one eyebrow.

Nandini pouted, "Thangaballi.. I didn't mean it.."

"After such a long time I'm hearing this name from you.. Thangaballi.." Manik chuckled happily as he sat on his chair.

"Haan.. woh I forgave you yesterday na.. we start afresh.. now my heart is happy happy.. So I felt like calling you Thangaballi.." Nandini giggled.

"My Comedy piece!" Manik dropped a kiss on her forehead emotionally.

Pinky and Maya aunty smiled seeing their love for each other.

Dev Malik opened the door angrily as the person has been knocking it to many times and no one went to answer it. But soon his anger was replaced with astonishment, "Ma!"

Dadi stare at him with moist eyes, "Dev!"

"Ma app.. you here.. I mean.." Dev was confused.

"You don't even remember you've a mother, right?" Dadi asked.

"No.. it's nothing like that.. I always remember you.. but I thought you hate me.. since I abandoned Ratna and married another woman.. I left you with Prerna and Manik.. I thought you never wanted to see my face again in your life.. That's why I never approached you.." Dev said.

"A mother can never hate her children.. no matter what.." Dadi cried.

Dev hugged her sideways and brought her inside the house. He took her to his room where they could talk in private.

"But what made you suddenly come to meet me Ma?" Dev asked sitting beside her.

"Woh.. I'm scared for you.. Chiku.." Dadi cried bitterly, "Chiku wants to send his own father to jail.. He is already planning on how to make you confess your crimes.. when I heard him saying this.. I became restless.. No matter how much I'm angry with you for betraying Ratna and abandon your kids.. You're still my child.. and no mother wants to see her son suffering in jail.. No mother can bear her son's pain.. I came here to inform you what is cooking in Chiku's mind.."

"Don't be scared Ma.." Dev chuckled, "And don't forget.. Manik might be MM for the world, but he's still my son only.. He will never be able to defeat me.. Don't worry, to arrest me he must have proofs..And that's something he will never get in his hands.. Only that stupid Maddy spoiled my plan a bit and he got arrested.. Manik reached till his stupid brother Maddy, but I'm his father, Dev Randhawa.. He will never be able to reach me.."

"I'm more relieved now.." Dadi smiled a little, "But how did you, Maddy and Nani did all this? Are really the clients of Nandini's restaurant dead? And most important.. Why?"

Few hours later..

"There surely must be a way to make Dev Randhawa confess that not only Maddy, he and Nani participated in this crime and put all the blame on Nandini.." Manik said to Aman. They were on his study room discussing how to put Dev Randhawa behind the bars and punish him for the crime he committed.

"Manik.." Nandini barged inside his study with a worried and shocked look.

"What happened Nandini?" Manik asked. Both, Manik and Aman stood up from their chairs with worried looks.

"Come with me.." she said and took both to the living room.

She pointed to the TV where news channel were showing Dev Randhawa and his Nani getting arrested. Police taking them inside the police station.

And the journalist, later showed that Dev Randhawa's mother send him to jail as she recorded the confession of his crime.
