This time he helped her get out of the boat, and only the bare touch of their hands would make both blush.
But yes, they did kiss, a quick, steamy, wich later they barely could stare at each other from embarrassment. It happened suddenly, not planned, but very welcome.
Wich left the question on their heads: what now?
Marc went against his rules, put her in danger, and also, kissed her by pretending he was Steven (not another person, but yet, a different part of him). While Mira risked her friendship and finally admitted her feelings, wich she still did not know if he felt the same.
They decided jn their minds to not talk about it. Mayne it was better that way.... For now.
They had better things to do. Get to the sarcophagus.
-So, remember, your name is Rufino Estrada.- She told him- My brother.
He looked confused at her.
-What?-She asked.
-I thought-
-What did you expect?
-Uh...I don't know, a-
-You can't be a friend or boyfriend, I need to make my way up to Anton.-She explained. He felt slightly bothered by the idea.-Unless if you want to seduct him, I heard he's bi.
-I'll leave that to your charms.-He excused himself.
-Alright.-She took a deep breath- It's showtime.
The event had only the elife of society joining it, while riders in horses made an spetacle on the background, where they needed to reach to small pyramids of glass, where the sarcophagus was.
A security guard stopped them.
-Invitation, please.-He asked.
-Tabitha Estrada.-She gave him the card- I got the invitation with Stella.
-Stella?-He read the card.- And where is she?
-She couldn't come today, so I came in her place.
He looked at her up and down.
-Not so properly dressed.
-It's not as if he would care about clothes, would he?-Mura chuckled softly, she was almost an actress at that moment.
The security didn't reply, but she did have a point.
-Follow me, please, he's awaiting.-He saud, but when Marc mentioned to foow, he stopped him-Who are you?
-That's my brother, Rufino.- She pondered- His superiors might want to make bussiness with Mr.Mogart.
The security analyzed him for a short second, them nodded in agreement.
-Right this way.-He walked foward and they followed.
Marc leaned to her ear and whispered:
-How do you know this Stella?
-I don't.-She replied- I just overheard her saying she works here, and stole her wallet with the card.
-You did what-
-Shhhh.-She grabbed his arm -let's go. Keep walking.
Mira and Marc arrived at some sort of attraction where men rode hordes in an arena with very much gracr, and most of all, huge egos. Between them, the one they were looking for, Anton Mogart.
His security guard left, saying that his boss would meet them shortly.
Not too long later, a man in a robe got out of its' horse, with a not so volumous beard and a narcissistic aspect, directed himself towards them, and there was no such doubt that this was the one they searched for.
When he looked at Mira he blinked twice, of course that wasn't Stella, but in some way, a beautiful girl as well, maybe even prettier.
-I'm Anton Mogart, as yoy may know.-He introduced himself- And you...-He kissed her hanf- Miss...?
-Anand. Mira, Anand-She replied.
-A delight to see you, better, to meet you.-He gave a half smile.-So you are Stella's friend?
-Yes. She was very sick, so she couldn't come.
-That's a shame.-He nodded, didn't seem so upset- Well, good thing she sent you here, isn't it? Your presence is indeed...-He inspired her perfune in the air- Mesmerizing.
Something made Marc a bit bothered about that behaviour but he couldn't blow up their disguise. Instead, he just cleared his throat, the sound made Anton finally aware of his presence.
-Oh, another guest?-He lifted one eyebrow- I didn't arrange anhthing with Stella about this, but-
-No,no,no.-Mira replied fastly before he started assumptions- That's my brother, Rufino Estrada.
-I see.-He shaked Marc's hand- And what is your...brother...doing here?
-So, you see...-She explained- He works for some very, very rich collectors, who ate big fans of you and your pieces.-She tried- And they are very interested in your...what was it called...?-She pretended to don't know.
-Senfu's sarcophagus.-Marc completed.
-Yes, that!-She snapped her fingers- So, I brought him here.
Anton did not seem very pleased ot convinced by her speech.
Mira leaned cliser and whispered:
-He's also a big admirer, like, he has a big, fat crush on you.
Anton glanced at her like "really?" Then at Marc, who was still clueless of what was going on, then relaxed.
-Okay, anything for a fan.-He rolled his eyes.-A quick look, but no touching. Follow me.
Anton walked foward, as Mira walked with Marc a little behind.
-I do really hope he's talking about the sarcophagus.-Marc joked terrfied.
-I hope you understand this is more than a collection to me. -Anton explained - Preserving history is a responsibility I take very seriously.
-A self-appointed responsibility that you alone were able to enjoy, no?-Mira questioned, he smiled.
-Well, I prefer to see it as a philanthropic effort at preservation.-He responded' Now, if I may ask, why such interest in Senfu in particular?
-Oh, actually, hid purchases are... -
I'm sorry. I'd like to hear from your brother, if you don't mind.
They both glanced at each other, there was no choice, he had to say something, and quickly. Marc tried to give a weak smile, inside he raged for having to say something.
-I think that... But I think I just would love to take a look.-Was his best answer, if Mira could, she would facepalm at sight.
-Funny man.-He just replied, indicating the pyramid ahead- Feel free.
They almost couldn't believe it at first.
-Great. -Mira smiled- Yeah. Great.
She was about ti enter the it with him when Anton stopped her:
-Mira.-His voice made her paralyze.-Where are you going? Have a drink with me, come on.
She glanced at Marc for a second, trusting him to be smart enough to solve that puzzle and turned back to Anton, where she pretended to have fun at his stories.
-All right- Marc observed the runes and writtings that he couldn't understand- What the fuck is this...
He looked back at Mira, Anton had an arm around her waist, as she laughed in a awfully louder tone to appear funny. When she met eyes with him, he saw how nervous she was naking him even more anxious.
-Come on, come on...-He observed but didn't understand anything in that thing.
-Well, the burial practices are in line with the Studenwachen texts. -A voice spoke.
-The what? -He looked up, his reflection, Steven, was speaking.
-Literature to guide the dead. But the location...
-What about it? Where is it?
-It has to be unlocked.
Marc took a deep breath, of course that wouldn't be easy, now he had to ask or help, great. Just what he needed, while Mira was being harrassed by that freak.
-All right, Steven, you wanna talk to me? Talk to me. What now?-He spoke.
-What now?? Is that you give me the body and piss off.-Steveb told him angry at the reflection on the ceiling.- I saw what you did.
-What I did?
-You...you..just thinking makes me nuts.-He shaked his arms.- You pretended to be me and kissed Mira.
-Oh God.-Marc passed his hands on his face, rolled his eyes tired.--Look, Steven, you need to listen-
-No,YOU need to listen. You take my body, take my job and now...-
There was a moment of silence, how could he describe it? Afte rall, Mira and him were just friends, nothing else, but the words"take my girl" were stuck inside his throat.
-Now make her think that...-Steven tried to speak.
-To think what?-Marc interjected- That you have feelings for her?-Steven looked at his alter, completely clueless of what to say- Look, I've already told you, after I finish this, you get the body, do whatever you want to, go ahead and reject Mira.-The words kind of hurt for both of them.- Or...date her if you want to, I don't care.-The words bothered- Just, let me finish this.-Steven stood quiet- I need your help here.-He looked behind them, Mira looked clearly uncomfortable by Anton's behaviour- She needs your help.
Outside, Mira was pretending to drink once again, Anton was starting to suspect that her drink was full just like when she received it, and, Marc's behaviour inside the pyramid seemed weird, specially when he looked up and started to speak, even if he was alone.
-What...-
-He's just...um...praying.-Mira lied- He just needs a couple minutes don't worry. Oh, by the way, I love your robe.
-Really? Thank you, it's Gucci.
At the pyramid again, Steven had to make a decision.
-We don't have much time Steven, Mira won't be able to-
-You are the worst.-The alter sighed.- Check the cartonnage.
Marc took a moment to realize, when he did, exhaled thankful, grabbed the cartonnage he spoke about, and followed his instructions.
-Okay, what do I do now?
-Take that first piece and fold it over the middle piece.
-This one? -He pointed.
-Yes, that one.
-Like this? -He tried to fold.
-Yeah. -Steven rolled his eyes as if he was teaching a clueless child.
-Wait a second.-He did as he asked.
- Now, if you match those stars up with the other piece over there, it should make a star...
-Hey! What are you doing?!-Suddenly a security guard made Marc Stop. He entered the pyramid, as Mira almost had a heart attack observing the scene, her glass fell on the floor, shattering across the floor.
As the security tapped his shoulder, Marc was faster, managed to spin around and grab the gun, pointing it to the man, but, behind, Mira was taken hostage, with more guns pointed to her head and her arms up.
-Steven!-She shouted before he could shot the security man.-Please, don't.
Of course she still thought it was Steven, but at the same time, she barely could recognize him, that whole day he didn't seem like himself. But all she wanted was for him to don't get hurt.
He glanced at her, and, knowing there was no way out, swore out loud and put the gun down.
-Do you think I'm an idiot?-Anton stepped in.
-Mr.Mogart please-Mira tried.
-GET ON YOUR KNEES!-He yelled to Marc, who was forced to stay in that position.- Do you really think I would fall for you little act?-He glanced at Mira - I've never seen someone lie so terribly in my life, God.-He rolled his eyes.- Do you really think that you came here by an luck? That you got that card accidentaly?
Marc looked at her, Mira's face turned into stone. They fell into a trap.
-It is exactly as he told me you two would do.
-Who?-Mira asked.-Who asked you to do this?
-Quiet!-He yelled.-I was willing to give you both a chance, but look at where we are.
They pulled her foward, side by side with the antagonist of the situation.
-You don't understand..-She shaked her head-There are terrible people out there, dangerous, who are willing to risk so many lives-
-Enough.-He interrupted her.
-Hey pal.-Marc spoke.-Take a look inside the sarcophagus.-Anton didn't seem very convinced at first.- There's something really...-The man started to walk towards the object-...really big
But he was interrupted by one of his guatds, who whispered something at his ear, making him stop.
-Well, here they are.- Anton gave a half smile- Why don't we go meet our guests? Uhm? Shall we?
Pulled by the security men, Mira and Marc were dragged oit of the pyramid, and, their vision made them gasp. Outside, Harrow standed with his followers.
-I assume you followed my advice.-Harrow spoke.
-Indeed.-Anton said confident.- They did just as you said they would.
-Whatever they've told you, I'm sure I can offer you something much more tangible. -Harrow approached him, his cane glowing magically, showed the scarab flowing in the air- Why settle for a clue when you can have the treasure?
-Please, Anton, don't listen to him.-Mira spoke- He is a killer, he's going to-
-Shut up!-Anton yelled.
-Please, there's no need to descend into violent accusations. -Harrow spoke calmly- Each one of you has so much more in common than you know.-He approached them even more- Mira, a woman who wanted to see the world and escape the ghosts of the past, but instead, could never get rid of them.-He searched about her, the situation got worse, Marc realized that now she was in deep danger too.- You try to seek happiness into history, and now, in a man.-He looked a Marc.- But is he telling you the truth?
-Don't you dare speak about him-She tried to defend him.
-And Marc.-When Harrow ignored her and said those words, she looked directly at her partner again, why all of them called him Marc anyway? Why that second name? Was he a runaway? A criminal? It couldn't be.- you don't tell her because you know that if you do, she'll see you exactly as you see yourself, as unworthy of love.
-You piece of shit.-Marc shaked his head slowly.
- Anton...-He showed the glowing cane to him-The lore surrounding these relics, I offer proof that it's real. -Harrow enchanted hik with his words- This sarcophagus doesn't belong to anyone. "Do it." Konshu spoke to Marc above a building, staring at the scene" Summon the suit. Give them what they deserve."
-Anton... -Harrow called hin again- Would you like to see for yourself?
-Yes. -He nodded - I do.
Harrow standed in front of him, while casting something ancient, magical to him, the wind turned more violent, and Konshu made the lights blink in a haunting spetacle as he observed Marc's lack of action:
"What are you waiting for?" He demanded.
Harrow's chanting continyed, and the light of his cane brought a purple mist that surrounded the sarcophagu more and more until it was vanished, turned into ruins and dust.
-That's just a taste of the godly power I offer.-He said and turned away, leaving.
For the mere moment they distracted themselves, Marc wasn't thete anymore. They asked each other what happened, until their eyes caught a white sihlouette on the top of the glass pyramid.
With incredible skill, he freed Mira from the guard, while Anton was hiding cowardly, as his man fought against the Knight, who jumped from the building, creatibg a moon shape in the dark sky with his cape.
Mira looked down at the gun by her side:
-Hell no.-And ran away.
Luckily, her strategy of squating whenever they shot at her, would make the guards shot at each other, leaving no harm to her at all.
Well, that was until they united forces all at once.
But Marc was faster and involved her into his cape, making the buellets hit his suit.
-That was weirdly very cool, but now buy me some time.-She said.
-I can do that.
With a spin of his cape crating dust and hitting enemies, Mira ran clumsy until the pyramid, trying to fund something she could save from the destroyed sarcophagus.
The first guard, wich guided them there, appeared behind her.
-Oh, hey...-She tried to talk.-Crazy night huh.
He tried to attack her, but in a fast act, she threw some glass wich belonged to the ruins at him, finding any way to survive. She tried to take one of the blocks from the destruction and attack him, but wasn't string enough. Mira lacked in combat, and now, all she did was run into the pyramid so he couldn't reach her.
-Madarchod (motherfucker).
But her efforts weren't enough, and, while Marc was stabbed by enemies, Mira was attacked by the guard, who managed to hit her badly.
She observed one of the remaining glass pieces on the ground, taking a deep breath to put her back into its's place.
"Smile, Mira." Flashbacks tortured her "no food for you today. You look horrible" her blood boiled "useless child."
-ARGHH-She grabbed the glass and into the impulse of fury and rage, she stabbed him with the glass pieces, punched his face, and managed to make him fall.
Realizing the man was down, and that Marc (Steven in her conceptions), was in danger, she grabbed the gun on the ground (she never used one in her life) and ran into the battlefield.
By beginner's luck, she could hit one of the men in a horse, but, was hit by Anton, wich rode with his pure blood one, making her fall into the sand brutally.
Marc had been impaled by the enemies, bafely surviving on the ground, but his senses were drawned when she heard her fall:
-MIRA!-He yelled at the top of his lungs like never before.
His eyes sparkled with the anger and the hatred towards Anton, who prepared himself with his horse, to run over the woman.
"Marc do something!" Steven shouted desperate.
Marc wouldn't let a single string of her hair be pulled. He wouldn't allow them do so.
As Anton ran fastly towards her, Marc escaped from the others, and, in a competition, a race like the medieval eras, both ditrected themselves until the center goal.
But the Moon Knight prevailed, and in a matter of seconds, pulled her away, throwing his weapon at the ememy, who was hit and fell onto the ground hurt.
She looked up, observing the man she believed to know covered in that different, yet amusing mask covering his face. In his arms she felt safe, weirdly safer than she expected to. But also couldn't help but grow the feeling that she didn't know that man in front of her at all.
He finally looked down at her, Anton had just fallen from the horse:
-You okay?-The voice was still the same. She expected something low, scarying because of the suit, so it surprised her.
-Yeah.-She nodded fastly- Yeah, I think I am.
-Do you have it?
-Yes.
-Come on, we need a car.-He got up, his suit suddenly disappeared, leaving the normal Marc assume again, and grabbed her hand, guiding Mira to wherever he would go to.
🌙
Mira was riding, following his instructions in aland of pure sand, the night turned brutally cold, and only the moon shined above.
Observing those dunes she startwd to think how she got into that situation, how now she was driving a car her friend had just stolen, well, if she could still call him friend, she didn't know exactly what was happening, she didn't know him, actually.
No, Mira Anand just tried to keep her eyes on the horizon and avoid more thoughts, even though the vision of her partner taking off his jacket full of holes caused by bullets in action was quite distractive.
-Ay...-He muttered frustrated- I really liked that jacket.
Good thing the desert was just sand, or she would've ran over something by not keeping her eyes on the road.
Marc put clothes on, she looked back at the rode, the silence fell between them again.
He observed her serious, her hands tense whiel holding the wheel, but deep inside he knew that she was nervous. Had some scratches across her arms, a scar on her leg from the fight against the jackal in London, and probably felt weaker than usual.
But at the same time she managed to be foolish, stubborn and now, put them in risk.
-We need to talk about what you've done.-He suddenly spoke.
-What?-She asked.
-Your "journey" to get clues almost killed us. You led us into a trap.
Mira furrowed her eyebrows. She wasn't one to take critics so easily, neither to agree with them.
-Excuse me? How would I have known?
-Maybe not just going after the first sign that appears in front of you? Is that so hard?
-Says the guy who went on a date with Dylan just because she asked for it.-She said in a whisper so he couldn't listen.
-What-
-Nothing.
Marc exhaled heavily, sometimes it was impossible not to fight with her. It was almost as she wanted to provoke him, and she managed to do it greatly.
-I did commit a risk, I admit.-She said clearly.- But in my defense, we managed to find what we were looking for, and we're still alive.-She lifted her shoulders indifferent-At least I'm honest and transparent about what I'm doing.
He turned her head to her quickly.
-What do you mean by that?
-Nothing.- Of course it wasn't nothing - It's just that...-She sighed- Well, I'm lying, it's everything.
Marc stood silent, of course she would speak about that, she needed to, and he wouldn't blame her.
-What Harrow said...-Shs started-...about you...
- Are you really going to listen to him?
- I don't kmow, maybe if you told me, I wouldn't have doubts.-She replied sharply. Marc had no courage to say something.- Harrow...he said I had the right to know.
-I have no idea of what he is talking about.
-Oh, you do.-She shaked her head- We're in this...madness, and you still didn't tell me what is happening, what is that suit, those people trying to kill us, how that man discovered who I am.
-Maybe he googled it.
She wanted to punch him in the face by saying that.
-Why would he google me, Steven?-She questioned- Because I'm here, with you. What are you into?
-Could you stop calling me that?-He said tired, brushing his hands on his face.
-Oh right, I forgot, here you prefer to be called as "Marc Spector", even Harrow called you that way.- She said already full of it. - What is it? Some sort of fake identity? Or was Steven Grant the fake one? A disguise to fool everybody - Marc tried to say "no, that's not it" in the backhround but she covered his speech with her voice- Because if it is, congrats! You'be managed to fool me too!
-Can you stop it?-He had to speak louder - he's just trying to divide us. Don't let him get into his head.
-Divide us?-Her tone changed drastically to a sad one, her emotiones were like that, instable, because of her traumas and decease - I think it's too late for that. -She held tight the wheel - Everytime I learn something new about you, I think "that's it, there can't be possibly be any secrets left between us". And then something new pops up and it's like I've never known you at all.
-Yeah, you haven't.-He said slowly, with a huge ache across his chest, observing his reflection in the mirror- You don't.
🌙
They stopped in an isolated area in the middle of the desert. Put the pieces of cartonnage above the car, and tried to solve the puzzle. But Mira herself couldn't do it on her own, even with her great knowledge, she was still having a hard time, and Marc on the other way, had no idea of what he should do.
He slammed the car for a moment annoyed.
-This is gonna take forever.-He put his hands above his head full of stress.
Mira couldn't understnd how he suddenly didn't know anything, how his intelligence and amusement fot that culture were simply vanished.
-I think we need to form constellations, something similar to the Egyptian navigation.- She analyzed- I've read something about it in the museum, but I'm not sure now...do you remember it?
Marc was so frustrated that he wanted to die.
-Marc, do you remember any of it? In your studies there was-
-No!-He yelled- No, I don't know! He knows!-He closed his fists making gestures in the air.
-Who are you talking about?-She couldn't understand.- Look, I don't want to fight now, we don't have time-
He groaned, slammed and took off the mirror from the side of the car, then grabbed all the cartonnages above the vehicle.
-What the hell are you doing?
-You want Steven? Fine.-He groaned and walked foward.
She didn't know what exactly happened when Marc toom those further steps and stopped, observing his reflection at the mirror. All she knew is that suddenly, that tense, stressed posture, was replaced by a calmer, more pure one, that sat fastly on the ground and started to work.
-...Marc..? - She tried to call him, but he didn' look back. She approached him slowly, as the figure continued to use the cartonnages but, in that weird atmosphere, there was something familiar in it.
Stopped by his side, the expressions, the gestures, and how strangely excited he seemed by solving that puzzle in a situation of danger.
-...Steven?- She let it go.
By that name, the owner fastly turned to her direction, and her heart almost stopped. Steven on the other way, blushed, things had changed and now...now he knew what she felt, and possibly, what she meant to him. But most of all, that he was seeing him by how he was, not as Marc.
-Mira!-He exclaimed, and, while she was there, by his side squated on the ground, he hugged her tight, making her fall by his side sitting on the sand- Oh, I'm sorry.
She looked into his eyes, and suddenly she couldn't recognize the man from minutes before.
-Your accent...it's back.-She recalled.
She hesitated but touched his shoulder, almost trying to remind herself that what was happening was real.
-How is this possible...-She whispered.
-I am sorry.-He told her.- For...him.
-You're not pulling a prank on me, are you?
-I swear I'm not.-He shaked his head.-It's just that...It's almost as I'm being possessed by someone.
-By... a spirit?
-Not sure. But he serves the God Konshu.
-Konshu? You mean the egyptian God?-She widened her eyes- This is insane...
-Mira.-He held her hand, and even his touch felt different. His touch wasn't eletrifying, intense and breathless as before, no. It was soft, comforting and lovely, warm, yet gentle and sweet. -I swear, I wouldn't lie to you.-It was like her mind would collapse at any moment by the falling truth- I would never lie to you. You know that.-He assured while staring into her eyes- It's me.-He wanted her to believe him more than anything in this world.- It's me, Steven.
-You're...
-Yeah.-He chuckled- My name's Steven with a "V!" -He sang in whispery, weak tone, commited by the hidden sadness of the moment. He caressed her hands as they meant the world for him. She meant the world for him. Guided them delicately towards him, and delivered a gentle kiss above them, lasting a short moment of devotion and affection, befote looking again into her eyes, now with determination.- Now allow me to help you.
She nodded slowly, and he let her hand go replacing it with cartonnages and sticking thrm to each other in a skillfull work.
-You were right.-He said with a charming smile- Egyptians invented modern navigation.-He cut the tape with his teeth fastly- There's not a lot of landmarks in the desert - He sticked the parts together - So they came up with a way to get about using the sun and the stars.-He seemed so genuily happy- It's bloody genius, isn't it?
-Yeah.-She chuckled and looked at him- Yeah, it's genius.
He finished and showed her the pieces now glued to each other in a star shaped form full of constellations.
-Et Voilà.
She held a part of the star, and, through the ups and downs of her feelings, felt crystaline tears forming into her eyes. Deep inside, she had discovered the truth.
-It's french.-He replied, noticing her reaction.
-I know.-She nodded, forming a bittersweet smile with her lips, but also admired, and, between a moment, she didn't know if she was referring to the navigation tool, or to him- c'est magnifique.
They stared at each other for a single moment and so much could've been said into silence. He could it feel it by looking into her eyes, by how his heart raced yet his soul found peace in her presence, and how he wished to stay there, in that moment forever.
Steven Grant was in love.
-So..-She blinked to avoid crying- what do we do with it?
According to Steven, they needed to find the coordinates through the constellations, but the problemas was that they needed to know how the sky was in such a long time ago.
But, suddenly, as if someone speaked to him, he turned around, walked foward, following the unknown in the middle of the celestial night.
-Steven??-She called, he didn't turn back to her, so she followed him.
He then stopped in the middle of a mountain, she had Marc's tablet on her hands, and, slowly, the man by her side closed his eyes. The next actions made her gasp.
Hia body was evolved by white straps, a transformations wich turned his clothes inro a white formal suit, and his head covered in a mask. It was exactly as he wad in that night in London where he fought against the invisible creature.
He opened his eyes, wich contained a white, impressive glow in them, and, had his arms wide open, as he slowly moved one of them, almost as sliding an invisible screen.
She almost couldn't believe in what she watched. The sky seemed to change into various nights, a show of light and color, stars twisted, the moon dissolved and reconstructed herself. It was a mix of beauty and terror, as the world would end at that exact moment.
By her side, Steven seemed to slowly ache in pain as he did such thing, she almost couldn't believe he was the one who did it. He changed the night so they could see how exactly it was the night they needed the coordinates.
She pointed to the sky where he stopped at a certain night, starting to scan the coordinates and combinate with what they found.
-It's working.-She told him.
But, as time passed, Steven lost strentgh, even his mask disappeared and he fell to his knees on the sand
-I got it!-She exclaimed- 29 degreens north, 25 east.
Steven couldn't handle any longer he groaned, moaned in pain, lying on the ground. Mira tried to hold him on her arms, trying to do something, but she had no idea of what possibly happened to him. All she knew that it broke her to see him that way, she felt anger to be useless at that moment, and the words of her mother ressounded on her head as drums "what could you possibly do Mira? You're just a woman, destined to be a wife, and that's all. You can't even help yourself"
She tried to get him up again but he fell, now unconscious. Mira turned desperate, giving little slaps on his face sonhe could wake up.
-Steven!-She yelledas she shaked him, he did not answer.- Steven, please wake up!-No reply. Tears fell from her eyes with no control.- Marc! Marc wake up!-She tried, he didn't understand, but all she wanted was for him to wake up- Please...-She whimpered. -Just come back to me.
