this is my newest kitten, magnolia. we call her maggie for short but my brother insists on calling her lia (sounds too much like leo, our other cat)

last night i woke up twice. the first time she was on my legs and was going to fall asleep there. i pet her for a little while until she leaves and sleeps in a super floofy cat bed.

the next time i wake up is to a weird noise. i notice my little sister up, so i ask her, 'what is that?' and she didn't really answer, so i took a look myself. it was maggie playing with the string on a sweatshirt hung up on my bed frame

she's so cute!

when we got her on wednesday (may 6) she was hiding in a drawer downstairs and eventually was brought into my brother's room. she hid under the bed and i went in for a few hours and befriended her. i got her to come out from under the bed AND i got her first purr before anyone else in my family! 🥰

she's so cute and my other kitten (8 months but huuuge cause he's a floofy chonk) really liikes her and wants to be her friend.

Leo would chase Zoe (our cat of 5 years, she's like 9) because he wanted to be her friend but now he knows that's not how to be friends with another cat. so now he's respecting maggie's space and playing with her 🥺 it's so cute!
