Silence sits in the room like a stubborn donkey. It does not think of leaving, whatsoever.
It causes Yue to breathe out a scoff.
Even as she gazes over at him, he doesn't falter. He continues on scrolling through his stupid phone while laying on that stupid couch in an incredibly peculiar, stupid manner.
"Can we do something efficient?"
Yue breaks the silence. Hawks doesn't even look up from his phone. "Like what?"
"Oh, I don't know. Maybe training?" She deadpans "Because that's why I'm here, aren't I? For fuck's sake..."
"Hm..." He finally looks up at here, a feigned pensive expression on his face. "You could make me a sandwich. Or clean my office. It's really dirty, you know."
Speechless, that's what Shirohono is. She stares at Hawks while simply blinking, dangerously silent.
"There's also some dirty dishes in the kitchen, and—"
Shirohono stands up with a jump, scoffing. "Oh, just call me dishwasher, will you."
Hawks grins slightly, opening his mouth, but she's swift to cut him off again, "I swear to God," she prolongs every word and speaks very slowly, "I am trying my best to stay calm, but if you say some silly-ass shit, this entire office is going to feel my fire."
That causes him to silence. The grin evaporates off his face. Yue sighs, her tensed body relaxing as she breathes thoroughly. She leaves the living room.
Suddenly, Hawks' phone vibrates, and he looks back down at it to find out who's calling him. His eyes widen slightly at the saved number. He looks around, but Yue is thankfully already in the kitchen. Hawks declines the call.
Not even a few moments later, Yue enters the living room with a sandwich on a plate.
"Finally," exclaims Hawks, flying next to her in an instant. "I've been starving. I hope you put enough chicken in there—"
His hand reaches out to grab it, but she smacks it away. "Nah, man." Her judging eyes examine him from head to toe. "Get your own."
"Share with me!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!" Her head whips toward him. "Do you know how much I had to search to find something that doesn't consist of chicken, you cannibal?" She sighs lightly, sitting back down. "All you have is meat..."
"You don't like meat?" He asks.
"Not really." Yue shrugs, biting into the (dry) sandwich. "Don't like how they're treated."
Hawks silences, nodding slightly while looking down thoughtfully.
Yue notices it from the corner of her eye, and her sights narrow in suspicion.
Anything and everything she says makes him pensive, she has noted. Not only does it rise her internalized paranoia and suspicion, it also simultaneously results in her becoming more cautious of what she wants to say—something she's actually trying to unlearn.
"Here." She divides the sandwich in halves and hands the bigger part over to him all of a sudden. "Have it. I'm not hungry, anyway."
His eyes widen slightly, hesitantly accepting it. "Thanks," he mumbles after a while.
There's no response coming from her side. Only a distant nod.
Once she has finished her meal, Yue stands up and walks toward the door. "I'm not here to waste my time," she states while grabbing her bag. "If you won't train with me, I'll do it alone."
While leaving, she quietly adds, more to herself than to him, "It's always been like that, anyway."
The door slams shut.
"How's your training going, Yue?"
Said girl plops to the cold ground, groaning. "Good, I guess. Hawks is one lazy man, let me tell you that. I don't even know why he wanted me as an intern." A tired sigh escapes her. "Makes no fucking sense to me."
Her uncle hums over the phone. "Maybe he just doesn't know how to specifically help you."
"Then he shouldn't accept interns if he has no clue over this," she counters with an eye roll. "This is a literal waste of time. I haven't learned anything new. Should've just chosen Ryukyu instead."
"Don't be so negative," Kamihara's soft voice calms her down instantly. She exhales thoroughly. "Give him some time."
He suddenly pauses, causing Yue to frown slightly. "But, Yue," he begins in a shushed tone, "Stay cautious."
Yue is perplexed to say the least. She doesn't know how to respond, so she doesn't say anything for a while.
But as she is about to throw a question at him, the door of the practice room suddenly opens. Shirohono ends the call and stands up as she sees Hawks there.
They're silent for a while, simply gazing at each other. But he then opens his mouth.
"So you wanna learn something new, huh?"
Eyebrows furrowing, Yue deadpans patronizingly, "Yeah, that's why I'm here."
"Get in position."
It seems that his entire demeanor has changed into a darker one. Hawks has always been calm and chill, but this is something else. This is someone else.
Her eyes widen, and she immediately complies.
"Again. That was too slow."
A shaky breath leaves Yue, her hands clutching the floor beneath her. She breathes to compose herself, yet Hawks's incessant commands throw stones in her way.
"Easy for you to say!" retorts Yue. "You haven't moved one bit, Sloth!"
"You complain a lot, don't you, Azurno?" He tilts his head to the side teasingly. She grumbles while looking up at him. "Yesterday, you were complaining about me not training with you. Now look at you, complaining that I'm training with you."
Yue gasps, not believing this man's audacity. She states defensively, "That's not even true! You're just not doing anything sufficient yourself!"
Hawks laughs soundly, tints of overly-exaggerated evilness in it, whilst he floats above her in a carefree manner. "I'm only here to judge. Just do a few more moves, and then we'll go patrolling."
Sweat profusely drips from her forehead. Yue's breath is heavy as she knocks out another opponent by doing a fiery sweeping kick.
"Boring. You did that move during the Sports Festival and now two times. If you keep on performing the same, dull attacks, it's going to be easy for your opponent to predict it. Think of something new."
Just in the same moment, Shirohono's opponent grabs her leg and throws her body over with a thud. Yue hisses, clutching her now aching back.
"Look. Exactly how I said," remarks Hawks. It's as if he wants and enjoys to annoy her.
"That only happened because you started rambling!" The blue-haired girl counters, pointing at him childishly. "I was distracted!"
He shakes his head, still calm. "That's your problem. You only focus on one thing, but forget about the others. You may only have two eyes, but you have other senses that can predict dangers."
Then, the Hero plants his feet on the floor, making his way over to her. "You have a seismic sense, activate it. You have ears, hear from them. You have a nose, smell from it. You can ignite fire from your hands, feet, and mouth—what no one with a Fire Quirk can do—use it.
"But how do I divide my focus without getting distracted by one of it?" She asks now, frowning.
"Concentration, willpower, and revising." Hawks lists. "If you practice while all of your senses are activated, you will soon be the master of it. You were blind for a while, right?"
After Yue nods, he quivers, "How did you see without your eyes? Like, how did you coordinate yourself?"
"Other than touching around, I put more focus on my hearing..." Soon, she catches onto his intentions, snapping her fingers. "Ooh, I get it now!"
"Now use that while I will be attacking you from every side with my feather-blades."
What.
"C-Come again?" asks Yue, blinking.
"You heard me." He steps into his position, many meters away from her. The large space is emptied now, the two of them being the only ones inside of it. "You wanted me to participate in your training. That's exactly what I'm doing now."
All Yue can do is blink. She nods curtly, moving to the middle of the room. "I know that you can dodge attacks from at least two sides at the same time," says Hawks. "But, this time, it's more than three. Don't worry, though, the blades aren't that sharp. You'll survive."
This annoying little man—
Suddenly, there's a piercing feather darting her way, which Yue sidesteps in an instant. "Dude, I wasn't ready!"
"You always have to be ready!" He states, somehow still tranquil. "Villains don't wait to attack!"
Perfect. He's even starting to sound like Aizawa-sensei now.
Many more of his sharp-edged strikes pounce toward her very being without any hints of mercy. While ducking from some, she fires other ones up by her feet and fingers at the same time. Still, a few shoot right at her.
"You aren't using all of your senses! Try again! But you better do it right this time, Miss I-Won't-Learn-Anything-New-Because-I'm-Already-Perfect!"
"Okay, first of all, Oompa-Loompa—"
"Are you feeling better?"
Yue huffs. "No. You ruined my Quirk's crippling self-esteem." She continues eating the ice cream Hawks bought her as a form of compensation, though.
"But, hey, at least you're finally feeling comfortable around me." Hawks smiles, shrugging. "Took a lot of time and effort."
Hold up...
"What type of witchcraft...?" Her eyes are widened in horror. With her now fully healed sight, she looks the male up and down as if he's some foreign creature.
As a matter of fact, Yue nods her head in acknowledgment of his social abilities and tricks. "You are really manipulative," she speaks without a hint of hurt behind it—actually fascinated. "You have to teach me."
"Oh, I think we're both skilled in that part."
He lets his seemingly innocent smile shine through. But after spending the entirety of her time with the Pro-Hero—noticing and analyzing every bits of his behavior—she can identify that it's all more like an act. A really well-performed act, she might add.
A chuckle escapes her. "You're good," she states.
The two of them continue walking beneath the beryl-orbed sky, chatting more and more. There's some sort of unexplainable warmth and familiarity around Hawks that causes her blood to run smoothly, absolutely tranquil and comfortable at heart.
All of a sudden, yells and screams erupt from the distance, making them stop. Hawks immediately starts flying toward the horrified noises, Yue doing the same in an instant.
"Whatever happens, stay near me and don't leave my side!" He shouts, to which she immediately nods. "I think this is more than just some simple rescuing."
Their feet touch the ground again, just to let their eyes meet the terrifying sight of many Nomus scaring and attacking civilians.
Hawks doesn't waste a thought to dart his stabbing feathers into the creatures. While he fights against them, Yue flies toward the innocent people and carries them away.
"How did they appear?!" asks the blue-haired girl.
The question is more directed at herself than to others, but the woman in her arms answers, "I don't know! We were walking down the street when those things suddenly came! It's like they came out of a black hole!"
Black hole. At the realization, her eyes widen.
"Thank you...?" The woman is clutching her son protectively, waiting for Yue to name herself.
"Azurno," she finishes. "I'm a first-year at U.A.."
Gratefully, the woman bows, still shaking. "T-Thank you, Azurno... Thank you for saving me and my child."
"Oh, that wasn't me, actually..." Shirohono scratches the back of her head, cheeks reddened. She glances back at the Pro Hero, and the sight makes her panic with shivers. "I-I'll have to go now! Please stay safe and go home!"
Yue notices the two Nomus storming toward the Hero, swiftly making her way over to them. Yue kicks one of the creatures away with her fiery leg while sending countless of blue flames to its huge body by her hands.
Still, the Nomu stays as put as ever. It may be knocked out for a few seconds, but it recollects itself and stands up to dash toward her again while letting out eerie cries.
"Azurno, I told you to stay away!" yells Hawks while struggling to kill the next Nomu.
"And I thought you already knew that I don't listen to others!" Yue counters, almost frustratedly.
She's well aware that his Quirk isn't as efficient against the nomus like some others' are. Hawks' Quirk is undoubtedly powerful, yet disadvantaged with opponents like these.
One last overpowering swerve makes the creature explode. Slight sweat drips from her forehead, wiping it away.
"I can't even properly fight against those uglies like I want to," mutters the blue-eyed girl, whilst they swiftly jog to other places to save people. "They only die if I fry them up like chicken wings. It's no fun."
Alleys are filled with terror-stricken civilians that run for their dear lives, everything in full chaos. Two familiar figures run in front of them, and Hawks soon picks up a casual conversation with another Pro Hero. More likely, Endeavor himself.
"Todoroki," says Yue in surprise of seeing him.
As he is about to greet her back, his phone vibrates. He pulls it out and looks down at his, his eyes are trained at a message he's reading.
Then, he starts sprinting the other way, leaving her eyes widened. "Hey! Where are you going?" She starts catching up to him, both of them ignoring the yells of the adults behind them.
"Midoriya sent a mass-message about his location," Todoroki answers, remaining calm while breathing heavily. "I think there's something going on, Shirohono."
Just as they turn in an alley, they're met with a shocking view. Both of their classmates are in the same scene as the infamous villain Stain.
"Midoriya," the dual-haired boy begins in his usual cold voice as the attention is now fully on the two intruders. "For something like this, you should've sent me more information. Now I'm late."
How does one remain calm while being faced with a monstrous Villain? The hell?
"It's one after the other." Stain smirks sinisterly, his tongue on full screen. Ew.
Yet her eyes widen as she catches sight of Todoroki's left side being activated, orange flames emitting freely.
That causes her to notice the actual appall of the situation. Shirohono exhales slowly in recognition.
She breathes thoroughly, calming her senses down. Her once large pupils shrink, absolutely tranquil at this point. Heart beating slowly in her chest, Yue positions herself graciously, both in defense and offense.
"Todoroki, Shirohono, you too..."
Iida is laying on the ground, unable to move. The mere sight of her admired but physically unconscious classmate irritates her, but she puts those overflowing emotions away - dividing yin from yang.
Observe.
And she does so; eyes analytically examining the entire scenario and possible outcomes. If I stay here, both me and Todoroki can't fully fight without being a klutz to the other.
Before Stain moves to attack them, she quietly informs her partner, "I'm going to the other side."
All Todoroki does is nod curtly. To make her passage more easy, he puts a glaze of ice on top of the ground.
In the same moment, Yue jumps up in the air and crosses ways with the villain, who immediately strikes his long knife at her.
But she spins around in the air, azure flames protecting her in the form of a ball, making him shrink away in an instant. A heavy breath escapes her lips as she gracefully lands back on her feet.
"I won't let your ass kill them, Hero Killer," utters Todoroki.
Man, this is the first time that I witness him using his fire, and then I can't even fully look at it? Unfair.
Stain glances at the two armed students while the stupid grin stays on his face. He stays silent, but probably plans something in his head.
"Shirohono, Todoroki!" Broccoli screams from his laid-down spot. "Don't show that guy any blood! He can most likely rob his opponent's freedom by ingesting blood orally! That's how we all got taken down!"
"You bitch, that's why you wanted to stab me!" mentions Yue all of a sudden. "And I wondered why a Villain would use boring gadgets instead of a Quirk."
Stain, unsurprisingly, has his attention on her now, taking a step toward her.
Okay, it seems to work. Hawks would be proud.
"Shirohono, whatever you're trying to do, stop!" Iida yells from the distance.
"For your information, 'Villain.'" She puts two quotation fingers up, mocking him with a dry scoff. "I don't like seeing blood. In fact, I get sick by the sight. So, please, show me something cooler than that."
In an instant, a blade is thrown right into her face.
Pure concentration is in her veins, as alarming signals rush through her body, the vibrations telling her where exactly he's aiming at.
Yue raises her hand to catch the knife in the perfect moment. She spins it around in her hands skillfully—almost as if she's mocking his abilities—and then shoves it deep inside the wall beside her while keeping her low-lidded eyes on him.
A look of shock is on everyone's face, wondering how she's mastered that flawless move. But Stain gets even more aggravated at her grinning state, jumping up to lunge himself at her.
"You've got yourself some nice pals, haven't you, Ingenium?" states the masked man.
Just in that moment, Todoroki strikes a sea of flames his way, which the villain escapes from immediately. Unfortunately, that is also the reason as to why Stain is in the boy's sight now.
From Todoroki's foot erupt countless blocks of ice. Somehow, his opponent counters all of his attacks by slicing right through them, sending the segmented ices in Yue's direction slyly.
"How inane." Stain is as swift as possible, resulting in being a huge challenger for the students. "Attempting to block view of oneself from an opponent that's faster than you..."
Both of them use their opposing hues of fire now. Yue races forward, hands igniting azure flames that protect herself from the ice—melting them away—while also crushing the rest on the floor by countless of balanced moves.
Midoriya is suddenly jumping up, meeting Stain's eyes. "You're good, too..." the villain mutters. Yue is next to Todoroki now, the two of them wondering how the hell Broccoli managed to break out of Stain's bloody clamps.
He throws the horrifying man away whilst still being in the air. "I don't know why, but I'm able to move normally again!" yells Deku.
Continuously, Stain stays on his feet, not wanting to give up against a few students. As Shirohono helps her green-haired classmate back on his feet, Todoroki sends another wave of ice-blocks in order to protect everyone.
"He takes away blood to steal away movement!" Midoriya states as a matter of fact, his breath heavy. "As for why the only one to be released from that so for is me."
Yue frowns, her mind an entire spiral of overlapping thoughts.
"I can think of three patterns..." Todoroki is quick to voice his thoughts. "A: The more targets, the thinner the effect. B: It has to do with how much blood he's ingested. Or, maybe..."
"C: The effect depends on one's blood-type..." blurts the blue-haired girl out, finishing his sentence. Todoroki nods.
Smirking scarily must be one of his strengths, because that's what he continues to do without an ounce of mercy. "Blood-type is the correct answer."
"We don't gain anything from having that figured out, though..." says Midoriya, to which the two others incline their heads in agreement.
Todoroki's stance remains in defense. "I wanna take the two of them and evacuate, but his reaction time's fast enough to be able to evade both ice and fire. He won't give us an opening to. Until the Pros arrive, I think avoiding close quarters with him and holding out is the best we can do."
"You're losing too much blood, Todoroki-kun." Deku states, and Yue's eyes widen in acknowledgment as she looks at the sight. "I'll draw his attention, so be my logistic support."
"Wait." Shirohono grabs Midoriya's arm before he could dash forward impulsively. "I have no damages yet." She locks eyes with him, nodding curtly. "Let's do it together. I start on the right, and you start on the left. In this way, he'll lose focus."
Each of them incline their heads at the plan. "The three of us," the dual-eyed boy states, "will protect them."
"So it's three against one... Not so naïve, I see."
Right away, Shirohono and Midoriya jump up high in the air and move in exact opposite directions simultaneously.
It's him and then her that Stain catches - cutting a tiny bit of their skin, licking it off by the blade afterward. Yue collapses with her back against a cold wall, feeling completely and utterly numb.
Through every movement that villain does, their confident classmate, Todoroki, does not back off with his attacks; using both fire and ice to keep them save as they risk their consciousness.
"This sucks! I can't move nor do anything!" she shouts out of instinct, desperately trying to be in motion.
Yeah, that's like the whole point. Mentally, she face-palms herself. You stupid dumb-ass.
Now, as two of the trio are powerless, Stain moves around effortlessly toward Todoroki, who fights with both of his sides. "Ice and flame," says the masked man. "No one's ever told you? You're too focused on your Quirk! You're being careless!"
Many heavy sighs leave the crook of Yue's neck as she tries to control herself. The way she is incapable of moving her body almost drives her insane. Her exhales get more shaky, more panicked.
Just as his blade is about to come in contact with the Todoroki, Iida jumps up from his laid-down spot and races forward by his swift-paced Quirk.
That leaves the other two with agape mouths, almost smiling in this horrendous scenario.
"Todoroki-kun, Midoriya-kun, Shirohono-san." Iida's hands grab his knees, looking defeated. "This has nothing to do with you three, and I apologize. That's why I can't allow you three to bleed more than this!"
Not one cell of Yue's body has even a hint of care about her bruised body. She doesn't care about the pain—all of it being temporary, anyway. The blue-eyed female is more frustrated over the fact that her body is disabled and so unable to protect her classmates as she would be preferred to.
"It's no use to try to be reformed for appearance's sake." Stain's hands are blood-filled as he clutches his split blade. "A person's essence does not change so easily. You will never be anything but a fake, who prioritizes his own selfish desires. You are cancer to society that warps the idea of 'heroes.' Someone must set you straight."
Suddenly, Yue stops fighting against her disabled state. She stills.
Todoroki states in disagreement, "You're an anachronistic fundamentalist. Iida, don't listen to the logic of a murderer."
"No, he's right." Said boy's head hangs low. "I have no right to call myself a Hero..."
"Even so, I cannot give in. If I give in, then Ingenium will die." At those words, Stain's feet move fast, but Todoroki is swift to throw a sea of orange flames, wanting to engulf him in it.
But the villain has jumped up beforehand. He moves and moves, ready to murder another person because of his morals. While the two students are talking—probably having a plan in mind—Stain throws a knife at Todoroki, but the tall classmate jerks in front of him and earns the attack himself.
"Iida-kun," Midoriya screams out, while Yue watches everything unfold with widened eyes.
They try to yank their bodies forward, but Midoriya is the only one who succeeds. "I-I can move..." mutters the green-eyed male. His concerned gaze soon finds Yue. "Shirohono-san, can you move?!"
"No..." Her mind is still occupied because of the earlier statement. "I think it'll take longer for me."
Though she quickly covers her pensive face up and looks up at him with a lopsided, reassuring grin. "Go ahead. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. My hands and legs aren't the only source of my Quirk, after all."
The next few moments are astounding to watch. Iida and Midoriya jump up, attacking the masked villain, and even accomplishing in knocking him out completely.
Yue heaves a sigh of relief—thinking that everything's fine now. But that bubble of a hopeful dream is immediately popped off as Stain is about to lunge for Iida again.
Inhaling sharply, large flames of blue fire emit from Yue's mouth, aiming toward Stain while being careful about not touching others.
The sudden hand-of-help from Shirohono leaves the villain distracted for a second. Iida uses that small moment wisely, kicking Stain into oblivion.
Then, Todoroki supports the situation by his blocks of ice. "Let's restrain him and get out to the street. Is there anything to tie him up with?"
"I could use my Quirk for that, but I can't even use my own body right now," mutters Yue from a back corner, which causes the trio to glance at her. They laugh slightly, light-heartedness finding their chests due to her funny-looking state again.
They discuss what to transport Stain with, but her concerns are elsewhere. "Um... Can someone help me up?"
Iida is swift to volunteer, but Todoroki holds him up. "Your arms are all messed up, right?" Iida silences at that, guilty of the accusation.
Nonchalant, Todoroki steps toward Yue, pulling her physically-unconscious body up by her arms and carefully placing it behind his back.
"Sorry..." The tips of her ears are slowly starting to heat up, loathed feelings of being dependent on someone creeping up on her again.
Embarrassed, she tries moving away and hiding her head behind his neck while also trying to stay away as far as possible. Though she can make miniature movements, it's a struggle. "Your arm is already bleeding... I apologize—"
"It's fine," he interferes quickly.
Utterly embarrassed now, she decides to simply nod (which fails, anyway) and stay silent, taking the loss of dependance with uneasiness in her chest.
"Fighting four-on-one with the guy making mistakes himself, we still barely won." Todoroki changes the subject, talking to the others, who are beside him, while also making sure that Yue is secure in his hold. "He was probably flustered and forgot about Midoriya's recovery time. And he wasn't able to deal with Iida's last Reciproburst, Shirohono's fire, or Midoriya's movements."
Soon, they're at the end of the abandoned alley. "Now, let's quickly get him to the police—" states the Pro-Hero.
Gran Torino suddenly appears. And he doesn't hesitate to kick Midoriya in his face by his feet, resulting in a snort from Yue. "I thought I told you to stay seated on the bullet train."
But her malicious chuckles stop as soon as her eyes lands on a familiar figure, breath hitching in her throat. "H—"
Please bury me in a hole and never dig back.
Indeed, Hawks floats above everyone—smirking while keeping his eyes at Yue's flustered state. More likely, why she's so embarrassed. The mere sight of her and her classmate's situation makes him laugh to himself, to which she scowls.
Everyone's eyes widen at the well-known Pro-Hero. Hawks strides toward his intern, head tilted to the side in an innocent manner—but she knows that it's the complete opposite.
"Are you comfortable like this, Azurno?"
"You—" Yue wants to lunge herself at his amused self, but she's unable to do so. Her face represents the color of a tomato now, never having felt so ashamed before in her entire life.
If it were not for Todoroki's denseness, it would've been worse. Thankfully, all he does is glance at the interaction with expressionless eyes, curiosity and confusion hidden behind them.
Many more Heroes arrive within seconds. "Endeavor told us that there was a request for help here, but..." They glance in between them, voices mingling together. "Those injuries look serious! I'll call an ambulance right away!"
Their sight lands on Stain's locked up form, gasping. "Don't tell me... it's the Hero Killer?"
"I'm fine," replies Yue to the Hero's question about her current state. "I just can't move right now. It should be fixed after a few minutes, though."
One of them calls the authorities, meanwhile the other ones ask for the health of the victims. "I only received minor injuries," Todoroki answers after her. "But Iida is..."
Still, Hawks—being Yue's main authority at the moment—takes the lead. He takes hold of her and positions her form behind his back, just like Todoroki did. Since he has used most of his wings, there is only a small amount left.
Still, Yue's body is very heated, which is why Hawks silently flinches as her severe warmth comes in contact with him. He suppresses the sensation and slight paranoia.
"You're really fine?" He asks again in concern. But, this time, in a much quieter and lighter voice.
"Beside my absolute humiliation, yes." Now, she does not think twice of completely concealing herself behind Hawks' chuckling figure.
"You were injured because of me." Iida bows deeply, gaining their attention. His voice is shaky. It's not evident, but he's actually shedding tears. "I am truly sorry. I couldn't... see anything... through my anger..."
Shirohono bonks head head against Hawks' shoulder lightly, motioning him to step toward the trio. The Hero understands in an instant and does as she wants.
"Iida." Her tone erases all the layers of false confidence and slyness she usually has, honesty and insecurity shining through. "I know that we're not friends, but I should've gone up to you and asked about your situation... I-I noticed the grief in your face, but didn't do anything... I'm sorry for being so useless. I could've maybe helped you..."
In a low whisper, she adds, more to herself than to the others, "Considering that losses of loved ones happen more regularly than wanted..."
Nonetheless, the blond Hero catches her saying. He frowns slightly, but stays silent about it.
In the matter of seconds, though, the worried expression evaporates from Yue's face and is now replaced with a stern and slightly irritated one. "But, quite frankly, are you stupid? Did you seriously believe that you could come head-to-head with a notorious villain that has mercilessly killed many people while you're a simple student? You are smart, but this was one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen."
Iida turns red, embarrassed. He bows even deeper. "Y-You are right, Shirohono-san... I-I'm sorry..."
"Even though you were feeling so concerned, I didn't notice at all," Midoriya states. "Even though we're friends..."
Tears flow down Iida's face now. "Pull yourself together," Todoroki says. "You're the class rep, right?"
Note to self: If ever found in a situation with tears, do not go to Todoroki Shoto for verbal resistance. Worst of all cases, do not ask for his advice about emotions.
Muffled, Iida hums. He wipes his tears away by his sleeve.
Suddenly, another Nomu flies toward them, catching Midoriya by one of its arms. Hawks has pulled in a more secure position to keep his intern safe. There isn't anything he can particularly do, due to the simple fact that almost all of his wings are plucked off.
Yet the Nomu dodges all attacks from the other Pro-Heroes. Suddenly, Stain awakens.
To everyone's surprise, the Hero Killer stabs the Nomu in his head, murdering it once and for all.
"This is all..." He rips the knife back out. "To create a more just society."
Yue's eyes widen, paralyzed.
Frozen to the ground, all the people can do is stare, absolutely in shock of the villain's actions.
Well, someone had to kill those uglies, a voice in her head concludes.
"Why are all of you standing around in a group?" Endeavor jogs over to them, his flames symbolizing dominance and power. "The villain should've escaped this way."
Flames ignite off of Endeavor's hand as the said man glares his way. Stain stands up on both feet, his mask having fallen.
"You fake..."
Like paralyzed, everyone stands there and awaits the next movement with fear in their features. They can do nothing, complete horror engulfing them like a sponge collects water.
"I must make things right..."
His voice is raspy, filled with nothing but hatred.
"Someone must be dyed in blood..."
Stain continues on taking small but utterly frightening steps toward the group, spit hanging off of his mouth.
"I must take back what it means to be a Hero!"
With one last thud, he lands his foot on the ground. "Come! Try and get me, you fakes!"
"The only one I'll allow to kill me is the true Hero..." His tone rises octaves and octaves, irises rotating questionably rapid. "All Might!"
He dies right on the spot.
All Yue can do is stare with an even more conflicted mind.
Fun-Fact: Shirohono has a very soothing and light voice, which often draws attention by others because of how beautiful it sounds. Personally, she doesn't like her voice, though, because she grows embarrassed and humiliated by the gain of attention.

on her feet, this is what i mean lol
if you pay close attention, you'll
see that the girl (azulailymarryme)
spins around in the air, and then touches
ground with her feet placed like that.
since yue is really skilled in various
fighting techniques, it's a must for
her to land on her feet gracefully;
ready for counter attacks of both
defense and offense.
( AUTHOR'S NOTE ! )

chapter is way longer and has almost
6000 words, so i hope that it makes up for it!
