━━ ✦ ━━
"Aye, look who it is!" Jeongguk exclaims, holding his phone up, causing Yura to only see his bare shoulders and grinning face.
Unfortunately, the boy from the hook-up page can only see her blank wall, her shyness dominating in the risky 'game'.
The duo is the complete opposite of each other; she is an underwater spirit, not the bold sun in the sky like he is.
She is wind-chimes in a spring breeze, never a storm to bring all the wrong kinds of excitement as he does.
Nevertheless, she can't seem to let go of that storm. A storm that's going to mess up everything. But maybe that hurricane is going to make her missed sun shine once again. Maybe.
Jeongguk chuckles to himself as he observes her silent self, nearing himself to the phone. "Yura~" he whispers in a slow yet husky voice, a grin adorning his face.
The said girl's eyes stretch widely, gulping. "Don't be so shy, baby," he continues, causing her blush to deepen.
He hums, "I should've known that a hilarious girl on the internet is actually the personification of shyness. It's kind of sad that you're just pretending."
Jeongguk smirks to himself, not meaning any of the words that just left his mouth. He's teasing her, and she's falling for it.
"Hold the fuck up," she speaks up, focusing the camera on her frowning face. "I am many things, but I most definitely ain't pretending."
The smirk on his face stretches more over his face. "Hello to you too, Yura."
The realization hits her, face-palming her forehead for being so stupid about falling for his 'insult'. "Hello," she mumbles.
"C'mon." Jeongguk rolls his eyes. "We've been chatting for many weeks now, and all I get is a boring 'Hello'?"
"The fuck you want me to say?" she counters, furrowing her eyebrows. "Something like, 'What's up fucker, banged any bad bitches today?'."
"You're talking pretty inappropriate, aren't you?" He lowers his voice, licking his lips before a smirk paints them.
Yura's pupils enlarge because of his change of attitude, gulping a few times. "W-Why did you call anyway?"
"I don't know," he mumbles, shrugging his shoulders. "I just wanted to prove to my friends that angels exist."
He screenshots her confused face, chuckling lightly. "And now I have the evidence."
"You little—" she begins but gets cut off by him immediately.
"You're smart and all, right?" he asks, brushing his hair out of his face with his hand.
She slowly nods her head, resulting him to further question, "So what has 36 teeth and holds back the Incredible Hulk?"
The dark-haired girl nibbles on her bottom lip, desperately trying to come up with the solution to his question. After a while, she gives up and states with a sigh, "I don't know. What is it?"
"My zipper," he responds, grinning widely.
Yura stifles her laughter, shaking her head while looking down. Yet somehow a chuckle escapes her, making him cheer in victory.
She unhurriedly looks up, smiling faintly as she gazes at him. "Somebody call the cops because it got to be illegal to look that good!" Jeongguk states loudly.
"You're so cheesy," she mumbles as her smile enlarges.
Yura would never admit it, but she's grateful to have him; a person who makes her happy. He's the charming gardener who makes her soul blossom.
"Anyway," the ink-haired boy changes the subject. "What are you up to?"
"Nothing much," Yura responds, shrugging her shoulders. She stands up, making her way towards the kitchen. "I whether eat something at home or go out with my roommate."
"You have a roommate?" Jeongguk asks in curiosity, leaning more into the camera.
She nods her head. "Yeah, he's my best friend as well."
"He?" the black-haired boy repeats, a frown building on his forehead.
"Yup," she acknowledges, looking into the camera while walking. "Got a problem with that?"
"No," he denies, shaking his head as a smirk starts painting his lips. "I know that he could never make you feel like I can."
"Boy, we never even met," she counters, shaking her head excessively while furrowing her eyebrows.
He adds, "Yet. We'll meet in the upcoming days, and then I'll show you something special."
"What do you mean by 'special'?" she asks, confused about his words.
He would have the face of an angel if his lips would ever break farther apart. The edge is pushed up, scrunching his one eye up, making the brown appear black. His lips part a centimeter, making it seductive to many.
She leans more into the camera to understand his mumbled sayings, his words not clear enough for her.
With a smirk he moves the phone in his hand downwards, his defined and bare chest in the foreground. But before he could go down any deeper in a teasing way, a sudden sound cuts him off.
One moment Yura is walking forward, eyes focused on the phone and face showing her curious face.
The next she is flying in a superman pose yet her expression is one of shock and horror. Her left foot should have extended to take her weight, instead, it's caught on a single piece of a sock.
She hits the cold floor, sending a few clothes from her roommate skyward. Her groan is enough to make Jeongguk laugh out loud.
He isn't done yet though, she could tell from the way he rolls his chocolate eyes to the sky and half bit his lip while she looks at him with a deadpanned face.
From deep inside his chest comes a great shaking motion and his face muscles grow tight.
Yura's face is dumbfounded, eyebrows arched, waiting. In moments Jeongguk's laugh is more like a burst water main arching into the brilliant summer sky soaking everyone around him with unrestrained gales that debilitated him to a thigh slapping and pick faced picture of glee.
She wants to stay straight-faced, flip her hair and end the video-chat; he's after all laughing 'at her', not 'with her'.
But before she could stop herself, her poker straight mouth twitches upwards and she's laughing at her own clumsiness.
"What are you doing?"
A sudden new voice cuts both of them off, the girl looking up with widely stretched eyes.
Jimin is looking at the scenario with confused yet slightly scared eyes; seeing his roommate laying on the floor while laughing with another person on the other line of her phone.
He holds his hand up, stopping her from saying anything. "You know what? I don't even want to know," he mumbles, leaving the kitchen right after.
Slowly, Yura stands up with a reddened face, patting the dirt off her body with her free hand.
"Guess your roommate won't go out with you today," Jeongguk states with an exaggerated sigh. He ironically adds, "What a shame."
"Oh, wait!" He holds a finger up, smirking. "You could always go out with me." He wiggles his eyebrows.
"Smooth," she retorts, narrowing her eyes while nodding her head slowly.
His eyes light up. "Is that a yes?"
"No."
Sticking his bottom lip out, his mouth forms into a pout. "Mean."
Yet somehow his expression changes almost immediately; his eyes holding a teasing glint while a grin adorns his face.
"Trust me, Yura. In a few days or weeks, you'll call me, begging for a hook-up."
He continues, "And you know what my answer will be? Yes."
