Heather crossed her arms as she watched Bill set up the projector. Her bare arms pressed up against the cold wall, but she didn't mind. She liked seeing Bill in her jacket as much as he liked wearing it. And he liked wearing it a lot.
"This is, well, cool and all.. but what're you doing?" Heather laughed, tilting her her. Her thick hair, which was tied into a low ponytail, fell to the side over her shoulder.
Bill looked up and grinned sheepishly at her, "Yo-You-You'll see."
Her leather jacket that he wore crinkled as he worked on turning the projector on.
Heather licked her lips as she smiled to herself. "You know, you're pretty hot when you're concentrated."
Bill blushed, dropping the tool he was holding. "Tha-Thanks, He-Hez."
Heather chuckled, leaning on the wall, her arms crossed as she continued to watch Bill work.
Ben was the first to arrive, his eyes widening when he saw Heather without her signature leather jacket on. But when he saw Bill, he nodded to himself as it made sense.
Stan arrived next, immediately noticing the jacket. He smirked to himself, sending a wink and a nudge to Bill, causing the boy to blush and look towards Heather.
Mike and Beverly were the next to arrive. When they saw Bill in Heather's jacket, they began repeatedly hitting each other and giggling loudly.
"Dude, dude, dude." Beverly laughed, poking Heather. "You have to tell us everything right now!"
"Did you kiss him?" Mike asked, his eyes wide in anticipation.
Heather blushed, chewing on her lip and looking away.
"Holy shit! You so kissed him!" Beverly whisper shouted, shaking Heather.
"Okay, so maybe we kissed once or twice.. maybe three times." Heather mumbled, looking away from the pair.
Beverly gasped loudly, smacking her on the arm. "Holy shit! And you didn't think to tell me?"
"Or me?" Mike faked hurt, placing his hand against his chest. "I'm honestly so hurt. I've been so supportive this entire time.
Richie appeared suddenly, practically kicking the door down.
When his brown eyes landed on Bill in her jacket, a smirk crossed his face and he licked his lips before speaking.
"Holy shit! Are you guys seein' this? They so fucked!" Richie exclaimed, pushing his glasses up.
Heather rolled her eyes, flipping the boy off. "I bet you wish you were Bill, then, huh?"
Richie's smirk fell and his face deepened to a red shade. "Oh.."
"Yeah, oh. Shut the fuck up, Bill has something to say." Heather rolled her eyes, pushing herself off of the wall.
Bill smiled as she walked over and sat in front of him. "We're listening, Billy."
Bill smiled sheepishly, looking down at his feet and turning on the projector.
Heather sat in front of Richie and beside Eddie as Bill pointed to the garage wall.
"Look.." He spoke, "That's where G-G-Geo-Georgie disappeared."
Heather followed Bill's gaze as he listed out each location. "The ironworks and the blackspot."
"Oh, shit." Heather muttered, shaking her head.
"Everywhere It happens is connected by the sewers.. and they all meet up at the we-"
"The well house!" Ben interrupted suddenly, perking up.
"It's the house on Niebolt street.." Stan said shakily, looking towards Heather and Bill.
"You mean that creepy ass house where all the junkie and hobos like to sleep?" Richie pushed up his glasses as he spoke..
"And fuck." Heather shrugged, "Nasty as hell."
Eddie took a puff of his inhaler as he began shaking ever so slightly.
"I hate that place.." Beverly trailed off. "It always feels like it's watching me."
"That's where I saw it." Eddie rasped out, "That's where I saw the clown."
"Th-Th-That-That's where It lives.."
"Oh, fuck." Heather groaned, "That's bullshit."
"I can't imagine anything ever wanting to live there." Stan shook his head and looked down at his knees.
"Can we stop talking about this?" Eddie said suddenly, standing up. "I-I-I-I can barely breathe! This is summer! We're kids! I can barely breathe! I'm having a fucking asthma attack! And I'm not doing this!"
The short boy turned around ripped the map off of the wall.
"What the hell? Put the map back!" Bill glared.
"Mmm!" Eddie shook his head.
The projector began flipping through slides.
"Uh, Bill? Are you doin' that?" Heather asked, looking up at him.
"N-N-No.." He stammered out, backing up.
"Oh, fuck. That's some poltergeist shit and I don't wanna deal with that fuckin' shit." Heather shook her head, standing quickly. "Hell no."
Upon seeing pictures of Georgie during the family's last vacation, Bill had told Heather about it, she stood up.
Bill had tears in his eyes as he watched the projector flip from picture to picture.
Heather took his hand into hers and gave him a squeeze of reassurance.
"Hey, Bill, look at me. Would you?"
Bill didn't respond, his eyes trained on the pictures.
"Bill.. Bill, look at me."
Heather moved her other hand to his cheek and forced him to look at her.
The losers started yelling around them, but Heather paid no mind to that.
She was focused on Bill, trying to calm the boy down.
"I-I got it." Mike spoke quietly, reaching forward and trying to turn off the projector.
It didn't work.
"Guys.."
"Ge-Geo-Georgie.." Bill stuttered, backing up and pulling Heather with him as the projector started zooming in on a picture of the Denbrough's at church.
"Bill.."
"Bill, What the fuck is going on?"
Heather's breathing quickened as the projector began to rapidly change slides, continuing to zoom in on Georgie's face.
Then it moved to zoom in on his mom, whose face was covered by her hair from the wind.
The hair began moving out of her face, slowly revealing the clown that she saw in her closet standing there.
Heather let out a gasp, squeezing Bill's hand tightly.
"Turn that the fuck off!" Heather shrieked, backing Bill into the wall. The group yelled around her, but she didn't hear them.
"Turn it off." Beverly said urgently. "Turn it off!"
Mike suddenly pushed forward and kicked the projector over.
The pictures fell out and everything fell silent.
"I-I.." Heather started, her hands feeling clammy.
But the projector turned on again.
And this time, the clown was much, much closer.
"Stan! Get away from there!" Heather shouted, reaching forward and yanking the boy back by his wrist.
"Wh-What.." Heather stuttered out as the clown disappeared from the pictures.
A loud scream ripped from her lips as the clown reappeared, hundreds of rows of sharp teeth snarred out.
Heather fell to her knees and scrambled back as Bill darted towards the other wall.
It set it's sites on her as it eerily crawled over to her.
She could feel It's drool dripping on her face as it snarled at her.
Then, it was gone. It had set it's sights on Beverly.
Heather laid on the cold garage floor, shaking as she stared up at the cieling, It's drool dripping down her face.
Suddenly, light flooded the garage and the clown was gone.
Heather hadn't even realized because her eyes were closed tightly and her hands covered her face.
"Heather.. are you okay?" Eddie asked gently, helping her up from the ground.
"Ye-Yeah, yes." Heather nodded, wiping her hands on her tank top.
Bill walked over to her and pulled her into a tight hug, pecking her on the lips as Eddie began to speak. "I-It saw us! And it knows where we are!"
"It always did." Bill spoke, giving Heather one last squeeze before he released her and walked over to his bike. "S-S-So, let's go."
"Go? Go where?" Ben asked, shocked.
"Niebolt. That's where G-Ge-Georgie is."
"After that?" Stan shook his head.
"Yeah! It's summer. We should be outsi-" Richue started, but Bill cut him off before he could finish.
"If you say it's summer one more f-f-f-fu-fucking time." Bill avoided the Loser's gaze, his eyes trained on the ground.
Heather sighed and muttered to herself before pushing through the group to stand by her boyfriend.
"I'll go with." Heather nodded, almost to reassure herself that this wasn't a stupid idea.
Bill smiled briefly at her as a thank you as he got on his bike.
"Ah, fuck. Love made Heather fuckin' stupid." Richie grumbled to himself, watching as the two rode off towards the abandoned house.
