"Sugar, did you hear? Sophie's having a baby! She just got off the phone with me." Theo runs into the kitchen, where Scarlett was cooking their dinner. He wore a grin that made it too obvious seeing as he wasn't meant to have much to do with Sophie, but Scarlett didn't even look at him, but stares at the pan of food cooking.

"..Scarlett? Come on, you must be happy for her!"

"What, be happy for someone who is more likely going to have that poor, blessed miracle taken away from her because- guess what- that's what got her pregnant in the first place! Irresponsibility! That child will have no father figure, and a shitty mother. I can't be happy." Scarlett snaps, and Theo crosses his eyebrows.

"Don't say that, Scarlett, Soph is vulnerable." Theo grumbles, and Scarlett slams the lid of the pan onto the kitchen top, facing her fiancé with tears brimmed in her sight.

"That baby is so, so much more vulnerable."

"What's wrong?" Theo asks, slightly salty and tight lipped, but his hands reached out for Scarlett's cheeks, wiping away the tears falling down her cheeks.

"I want a baby, T, and everyone around me is just all baby baby baby, and what about us? Do you think I have shit fallopian tubes or something?" She cries into Theo's hand, and he hums, almost as if he knew why he and Scarlett weren't conceiving any babies.

"Maybe you want to get it checked out then, that's why we're always ending up with negatives." He shrugs, and Scarlett gasps, crying out once more.

"Oh my God, if we can't have a family because of me-"

"Hey, don't think about it, just get it tested." He nods, and Scarlett rapidly agrees, walking out of the kitchen, muttering almost silently a 'I need a breather', biting her nails anxiously.

Theo smiles smugly, humming happily. He knew this would get to Scarlett. It was one thing having her sister being pregnant, but it was too close to home. But when he got Sophie pregnant by accident, it was a perfect striking oppurtunity.

Scarlett Cabello was in his palm, and soon it would be locked and the key would be swallowed forever.
