ANNA LOOKED at her sleeping boyfriend, softly brushing away the curl that had fallen over his forehead. Tom's body moved a little, and her eyes widened. For a second, she thought she had woken him up, but instead, to her surprise he got comfortable, wrapping his arm around her waist and nudging his nose further into the crook of her neck, sighing in his sleep.

Her heart throbbed as she felt Tom smile in his sleep, his lips pressed against her shoulder, the sensation making her smile. She ran her fingers through his curls, cherishing and thinking about him, the boy she was in love with.

She didn't even realize her younger sister Gaby was walking towards them until she yelled, startling Tom wide awake. Tom's eyes widened, looking alarmed. "What happened? I'm up!"

Gaby looked at him weirdly but realized what happened, "Sorry, I came out here to bother you guys I didn't think you were asleep."

"He stayed up almost all night trying to perfect the food." She gestured towards the plates on the table.

Gaby's mouth was shaped in an O. "Well, from the looks of the plates, I would say the food was good. And the decorations look cool, Tom. I mean, look at her," she said, pointing to her sister. "She's beaming like the sun don't look directly at her or you'll burst into flames."

Tom sat up fully, putting his arm around Anna's shoulder and crooking his head to the side at Gaby's joke.

"I know it wasn't a good joke. I couldn't come up with anything clever. I'm tired."

"Yeah, not your best work, mate. Oh, before I forget, there's leftover food well not left over we purposely left you some."

Gaby's eyes beamed. "Such a good brother-in-law, thank you. I'll eat it right now. I'll text you my review of it. This is my Gordon Ramsay moment."

Anna chimed in. "Tom's met him!"

"Of course he has that's basically his neighbor. Ok, bye, lovebirds, who are always stuck together like glue." She sang the last part as she walked away with the plate in hand. Not looking back at them.

⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅

Tom was currently laughing at his phone, looking at the picture his best friend Harrison had sent him. He pointed the camera towards Anna, telling her to make a silly face to send to Harrison, as their current conversation consisted of sending each other funny photos.

While Tom waited for his best friend's response, he looked over at his girlfriend, smiling. He raised an eyebrow when he heard her humming what seemed like a melody.

"What are you humming?"

Anna looked at her boyfriend, confused. "Humming? Was I humming? I didn't even realize," she laughed. "I was thinking about what Gaby said earlier about being stuck like glue, I was thinking maybe that idea can be turned into a song I don't know."

Tom copied the humming he had heard her do, with Anna looking at him, squinting her eyes. "I think a song might be coming onto me. Let me write it down on my notes app. Here, let me record you doing the humming... Ok, perfect! I'll go to the studio tomorrow and play around. Do you wanna come? See me work my magic." She finished off with jazz hand to emphasize the word magic.

Tom laughed at her amusement, leaned forward, and gripped her thighs, pulling her into his lap. Anna couldn't help but let out a small shriek of laughter at the unexpected motion, her hands flying to his shoulders.

Tom grabbed her cheek, slowly swiping his thumb on the tip of her cheekbone and over her bottom lip. She felt him move closer to her. Tom leaned forward and kissed her lips, Anna melted into the kiss, and Tom tilted his head back so he could fully lean into her while she was sat on his lap.

Every time they kissed, it felt like the first. The butterflies, the fireworks, and the feeling as if nothing else mattered except each other.

After a while they both pulled back. Anna's cheeks were splattered with redness as she tried to catch her breath. While Tom's lips were glossy and swollen, he ran his thumb over his bottom lip while also trying to catch his breath. His hands were pressed into her back, and he allowed them to travel up her spine a little as he laughed. "Always, I love being in the studio with you."
