𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦

AURORA SAT ON Anna Marie's bedroom couch and scrolled through her Twitter account while she waited for Anna Marie to come back to the room. She had step outside because she heard her dogs bark at something.

While she waited, the bathroom door that connected with the room opened. Aurora turned her head to see who opened the door. She expected to see Anna Marie, instead, she saw someone who was once one of her closest friends.

"What the hell are you doing here?" As soon as those words left Aurora's mouth, the bedroom door slammed shut. Behind the door, Rosealie and Hana put a chair on the door lock so no one would be able to leave. When they successfully locked them inside, they high-fived each other and went back to the living room with the others, giving them privacy.

Zendaya looked at Aurora and then at the slammed door with a puzzled look. She was about to respond when she felt a buzz from her phone. It was a text message from Owen.

She read the message out loud, "'So Zendaya and Aurora, they locked you both in there so you can finally work things out. You have to figure out your problems to get out. Good luck.' Well..."

Aurora just looked at her with an emotionless expression, "I have nothing to say to you. I'm not the one who ended this friendship." She walked over to the door and banged on it, yelling. When no one came to her rescue, she tried to leave the way Zendaya had came, but, with her luck, it was locked as well.

She went and sat on the edge of the bed and looked out the window, "Acting like I won't jump out this window," Aurora murmured to herself.

Zendaya stared at her for a while thinking, of what to say, "I thought we were okay now..." when she spoke, her voice came out soft and quiet.

"Okay? How can we be okay after what you did? I told you how I felt. You reassured me we'd still be friends and right after you fucking ghosted me. Do you understand how shitty that made me feel like for months?"

She took a deep breath before continuing, "I get you were going through something I really do but the way you handled it... Jesus. It was awful. And yes, I still want to be immature, bitter, and petty."

"I'm sorry and I'm also sorry because I knew you had a girlfriend and I don't know- what? Why are you laughing?"

"I don't know a girlfriend. I've never dated or really liked anyone. Why would I get a girlfriend right after you rejected me? Come on now."

"I mean, I knew- I know that but... uh, I don't know. I saw you two got close and, you'd had told me before she liked you. So I thought..."

Zendaya gave her an awkward smile and shook her head. She then walked over to sit next to her.

For a while, no one said or did anything until Aurora's turned to look at Zendaya. Her eyes wandered Zendaya's side profile then they landed on her lips. Just the thought of kissing her made her heart start beating so fast she was sure Zendaya could hear it.

Before Aurora had time to think, she reached over to touch Zendaya's cheek. She made Zendaya look at Aurora. Her eyes widened at the sudden physical touch. But when she realized what was happening her expression softened. Aurora started to lean in towards Zendaya, who also started leaning in. 

Their lips briefly brushed together, the electricity bursting through them. But before their lips could fully touch Aurora, pulled away slowly with a mischievous smile on her face.

Zendaya looked at her with disbelief, "You know you're not cute or funny," Zendaya told her, but all Aurora gave in response was a small laugh.

Zendaya playfully rolled her eyes at her and grabbed the back of Aurora's neck pulling her in close. In seconds that felt like years, Zendaya finally kissed her.

Aurora was a bit taken back but regained her composer and realized they were really kissing, and that was all that mattered everything around them became meaningless. They only cared about each other at this moment.

Nothing could describe this beautiful moment. The way their lips fit perfectly into each other's lips like they were made for each other. The kiss was soft yet immersive, gentle yet powerful all at the same time.

Aurora finally understood how kissing could be such a beautiful and intimate thing with someone you loved. 

Zendaya's eyes opened for a split second to meet Aurora's closed ones. Zendaya's eyes fluttered closed again, her hand tangling themselves in Aurora's hair.

Before they knew it, the kiss had come to an end as they needed to breathe. They pulled away both breathless and panting but, they still held each other relaxing. Zendaya looked at her with such an inviting warmth that she wanted to pull her into another kiss, but she decided against it as she was still in her friend's room.

Aurora smiled at her and exhaled slowly. A spark of amusement flashed in her eyes. She whispered to Zendaya since they were right in front of each other, their foreheads touching, "Now I can check off having my first kiss off my list."
