After almost failing her quiz yesterday Miya decided that it would be best for her to study alone on the rooftop so that she could properly focus.

her face heated at events from yesterday before her body jumped from the sudden screeching noise of the rooftop door opening.

a boy looking quite similar to Toru but also so different leaned near the railing pulled out a cigarette not seeing Miya.

Her eyes couldn't leave him, his legs were long like the boys but he was around Tamura and Kashima's height, his hair was long and he had dark eyes complimenting his face unlike the boys with their variations of bright colored eyes that she grew to love.

"Hey, You okay?" His deep voice broke the silence making Miya blush as she looked down.

"oh i'm sorry for staring you just looked like my friend a little bit" She spoke.

The boy walked closer to her making her hold her breath.

he looked nothing like Toru up close, he had a lip piercing and a couple of ear piercings along with tattoos on his arm, he was probably a senior but Miya had never seen him.

Looking at him more closer, his shoulders were more broad and his lips were kind of plump, his hair looked soft and his eyes had bags under them but it was attractive in a way.

"You have a staring problem" He chuckled before he took another puff of his cigarette.

"Oh- i'm sorry i spaced off again, I'm Miya" The girl held up her hand making the assumed older boy drop the cigarette before taking her cold hand into his larger warm one.

"Cute" he chuckled once more at the girl.

"i'm Kaito" was all he said before letting go of Miya's hand and stood up and rubbed his discarded cigarette into the pavement with his shoe before walking off.

what i imagine Kaito to look like, just imagine a lip piercing with the tattoos ('ー')

After the odd encounter Miya couldn't get Kaito off of her mind.

She had went looking for the boys but none of them seemed to be in the club room so she decided to head back to her door early since school had been dismissed and she didn't feel like lingering around school any longer without the boys.

Her nose scrunched up as she smelt the familiar smell once again.

"Kaito-Senpai?" she spoke unknowingly of what she was getting herself into.

"Miya, right?" He spoke making her nod.

He held out the cigarette to her making her shake her head.

"no thank you, cigarettes are bad for you" Miya broke the awkward silence.

"that's the point" Kaito took a long exhale of the cancerous stick in his hand.

Miya had a look of confusion on her face before Kaito's dark eyes stared into her blue ones.

"just making my time past faster" He spoke before lifting his hand.

Miya gently took and he simply let her in an odd way.

Kaito wasn't the type to act out, he did things in order to get a response and obviously Miya was responding.

"You're in high school, you can't be ready to go before you've even lived" Miya spoke as she stood next to him.

"Huh, what makes you think you know me?" Kaito calmly spoke as he stepped in front and hovered very closely to Miya now.

"I-I never said i did, Just get out of you head about things, trust me" Miya spoke as Kaito still stood very close to her, there noses almost touching.

"trust you, i barely even know you" Kaito truthfully spoke.

he was right, he didn't know her, would he even want to be her friend after everything she's been through? maybe who knows ?

"Miya-Chan there you are!" A voice broke the tense moment between the two making Kaito step back from Miya.

"Oh Akemi-Senpai, i went looking for you guys in the photography room and no one was there" Miya said as the boys followed Akemi.

"We we're in the Garden, you should check your phone more" Akemi scolded Miya making her head dip.

"Look Miya-Chan i picked you some flowers" Kashima spoke up as he handed Miya flowers making her smile and thank him.

The other boys were telling Miya how the garden was pretty during that time of day for pictures but Toono told them not to bother her because she was stressing over studying but she wasn't focused on the conversation she was focused on Kaito walking off.

"So Miya what we're u doing while we were gone?" Tamura asked

"I think i met the new transfer student" Miya said still not fully sure if he was or not ( he definitely was ).

"THE NEW TRANSFER STUDENT?!?!!" The boys said out loud making Miya's eyes widen.

"What about him?" Miya asked even more curious now.

The boys all looked at each other before Tamura spoke up.

"There is no way we are leaving you alone with him again, that's all that needs to be said" He simply spoke leaving Miya with even more questions.

A/N : hiii i'm sorry i've been M.I.A i've been busy and unmotivated but i've decided to add a new character to cause drama and this book is very cliché so welcome Kaito, more will be revealed about him, i'm sorry about the short chapter and then i wanted to start more books but they end up flopping but  I'm glad u guys still read this one, it means a lot to me ❤️
