A rich heir. A life of success. And the lush lifestyle….
What could possibly be wrong, right? Having a life of your own and yet living a lie… how would you feel? I think we should ask Kim Seokjin. An heir. A rich and ruthless son of a Rich and Careful father. His father had built the entire company, and he was just running it.

But sometimes, fate just can't stop meddling. It has to prove us wrong in every step of life that is taken, but it depends on us if we are going to let it in and take our temptations the best of us, or rather we have to turn and walk away. How many times has it happened that one knows what's right and yet chooses the wrong? Countless times.

He sits by the bay of the river where he used to play as a child. This river has always held answers for him. Now a man of 30, and having committed thousands of sins… he sits and regrets all that he did.  He looks down the bay, remembering all those memories he made as a kid. How was he supposed to know that his life would take such a turn? He had just been a normal person, up until his greed took the better of him and nearly succeeded in getting him killed. But can he ever recover from what he did?
All those people he killed, the success he devoured and the popularity he gained…it all comes crashing down on him, washing a huge wave of guilt over him.

He is tired of life and just wants to forget all about his Sins and this life. But it is how they say. Once you do sins, you won't ever be able to forget about it without reaping the fruit of cruelty. After all, these are one's own actions that come back to them…

Who knew that the national hero Kim Seokjin would end up becoming a national criminal? A person who would do anything, just anything to get out of trouble. How many times will he escape? Will there ever be an end to his Sins? Will his country ever see peace again?

What happens when a simple civilian goes mad and is ready to put everything at stake? However… How much can be put at stake? Will there ever be a time when everything is finished? This time? when everything is at stake...his reputation, his money, his family…and most of all….Himself…?

And will Kim Seokjin ever live to see his last escape?

This is the story of how a hero became a villain…
